Our relator gave us great advice of hiring an inspector for our house so they can identify the problems and we hand it to our builder so they can make the repairs before our 1 year warranty is up. My wife used Yelp to help look for inspectors and scheduled an appointment with him. I was not there personally as I had to go to work. His price was what was expected. Our house is a 1 story and around 2100 sq ft and took him around 4 hours to do the inspection. He literally went everywhere in the house, attic, garage, roof, all of the rooms to try to find issues. He gave us some good advice that we did not know about like use your dishwasher more often as it will take up less water. He gave us a detailed report and we submitted a request to our builder to help fix some of these issues as our house was built in a rush. read more

Certainly earned five stars, would award more if I could. Paul came out to inspect a property I was under contract to purchase. The house looked great to me, but Paul found fire damage and flood damage which were undisclosed and hidden. He also showed that the roof still had charred beams and that it would need to be completely removed, redone, and signed off on by a structural engineer - probably months and tens of thousands of dollars of work required. I have had our current home inspected twice before. Once when we bought it, and once when we decided to see what we might need to do to sell it in 2020. Now we are considering selling again and called Paul to make a thorough inspection to see what we might need to do to get things ready for sale. Was really excited to have my home inspection completed by Fouries due to their great ratings and I'm bummed that I will not have it. Paul arrived 8 mins late, which wasn't a big deal, but refused to wear a face mask. I told him that I wasn't comfortable without him wearing one due to the pandemic and offered to provide one to him. He declined and in return asked me if I would leave my home. I don't have any place to randomly go for three hours. He then said "guess I'll have to cancel the insp inspection" and left. So, back to my inspector search! We did not discuss the need for a mask to be worn beforehand. I just assumed that was a given as all other businesses are doing so. So I won't rate a 1star because of that. I don't doubt that he does great work due to all of his other reviews, it just didn't work out for me. read more
