I had already been there for 2 hours now waiting for AAA. He offered to change my tire as a courtesy so I could be on my way after waiting there for so long alone on a dark freeway in the middle of the night. So grateful for his help and concern for me. A true gentleman indeed.

I had called other local tow yards, and they were quoting around $250-$300, but they were taking longer. Even though Christina's quote was a little higher, I agreed because they said they were available right away and I needed the car moved. Looking back, I feel like they took advantage of the fact that we were in a stressful situation and needed help quickly. The tow was only about 11 miles. The vehicle was taken to a storage location that Christina recommended. She told me it would be better to take it there in case the car leaked oil, so it would not get on the concrete. At the time, I trusted what she was saying. The car was only stored for about 2 days, and I was told the storage fee was $125 per day. Even with storage, I was shocked when the total changed from the original $350 quote to $1,362. I asked more than once for an itemized invoice showing the tow fee, mileage, storage days, and any extra charges. Instead, I was told the invoice was inside the vehicle, even though I explained that I could not go in person and asked for a photo or copy by text or email. There was no police impound and no police report. I also asked whether this was being charged as a regular tow or an accident/recovery tow, but I still did not receive a clear written breakdown. Overall, I felt the pricing was not transparent, and I felt taken advantage of during a stressful moment. I would strongly recommend getting the full price, storage fees, mileage, and any additional charges in writing before agreeing to use this company or not using them at all.

Back in 2022 October, I literally was about to go to LAX for my international flight and my car…read morestopped working. So I had to tow the car back to my place and take off for 3 weeks and come back. So pretty much my car was stuck at my apartment's parking lot. When I came back, I called places but they said I would need to tow the car and do a diagnostic test and then they can tell me what's up. I just came back from my trip and I was still recovering from Jetlag so I decided to try mobile service and I found Raul on yelp and oh boy, did he come fast to the rescue! Don't be fool by the cover people, Raul is polite and respectful and I am glad that I was able to get help from him. So he looked at the under hood and said it was an alternator problem. So we bought the alternator from local AutoZone and he was able to replaced it like within 2 second. lol... Also, the cool part was, he bought his home boy aka his cousin or nephew (sorry it's been awhile) and was teaching him.. man I wish I had a cousin like Raul. Anyway, after 8 months, car is running like a new, so far so good with no big issue. But lately, being hot summer in Riverside, I do notice when I try to break with AC on full blast or when I try to turn the wheel while engine is in idle mode, car starts to shake which was not there before. So I'm off to texting Raul to see if he can help again. Btw, he also reached out, like a follow-up after all these times to see how my car was doing... seriously? Who does that!!!! Gracias Raul!

Mohsin gave me a call back quickly when I contacted him regarding getting a new FOB smart key for my Toyota Prius. He quoted me a price that was lower than the lowest offer I received from another locksmith. He offered to drive up near where I live, but since the timing wouldn't work for me and my wife, we drove to his place. He was very cordial, positive, kind, and incredibly helpful- due to an after-market lock in my car, the FOB wasn't being programmed as it usually does, but he took the extra time and energy to ensure that we went home with a brand new, working key. Since I lost my whole key chain, he was also able to replace all my other regular keys, for $1 each. The falafel wrap that we were offered once he was done with all the keys was the cherry on top. Throughout my life I've had a rather large issue with locking my keys in my car. Whether I was at work, the gym, or even at my house. It was nearly a monthly occasion, and every time it happened, Anchor Locksmith was there quickly to help me out. They were always kind no matter the time of day. After about the 3rd or 4th time, The man helping me (moe) gave me a great idea of having a spare key stashed under my car. He then cut me a key right then and there for a very nice low price. I highly recommend Anchor Locksmith! Mo is knowledgeable about his craft, professional, courteous and conscientious about his work. He repaired my camper van's engine and ignition control units. He came through for me and went the extra mile to insure he'd finish the repairs so I could start the engine. Could be here in 30mins great. Quoted me $95 to put a lock on a bedroom door. When done wanted to charge me $250 to just change the doorknob to one with a lock on it. After arguing a few mins, settled on $200 to get him out of my house. Asked for a receipt. Got a very generic receipt that didn't state actual name of Tom's Lock & Key but said 24HR Locksmith with a different phone number. Receipt name said technician was "Mike". Phone number was also different on receipt than person that called me.
