I do not feel compelled to post reviews of services very often but I feel that it is important to review the project Anchor completed in my front yard. This project was completed back in March 2018. In my initial hunt for landscape services I was going for affordable. I ended up selecting Anchor, not because they were affordable (they were on the more expensive end of the quotes) but because they seemed like they would produce detailed quality work. In the end the project became incredibly cumbersome as a client. At the time of the initial assessment I was very clear that I was trying to repair the lawn and the shrubbery that was ripped out for other repairs. That means I needed to replace the shared flower bed of my neighbors and my lawn. Additionally, I needed to do some concrete work to my front walk up. Anchor suggested I do my entire drive but at the the quote they offered for a small drive I declined. We also planned to have my down spout and sump pump go out to the street. On D day everyone showed up and things were happening as planned. The concrete contractor (learned later on they were a SUB-contractor with Anchor), offered to do the drive for a reasonable price. I was able to pay for all costs upfront. No concerns for down payments or payment plans, this was an in and out job.... When putting the Laurels in the landscapers refused to place them where I had requested because they did not realize I was replacing what I had to rip out on my neighbors side. I called the main office tried to inform my Anchor contact but to no avail they placed them where they wanted. Now for the down spouts and sump pump pipes.... the sub contractor laid them into my neighbors lawn and was not ideal with follow-up or follow through. I told them that under no circumstances should I be dumping water into my neighbors lawn. Welp, guess what is still happening to this day in June 2018. The sub-contractor did come back about 1 month after install to "fix" the piping but simply extended the pipe further in their yard and buried it more for me to not see.... when I made note of this to Anchor I was "blamed" as the customer for working with the sub-contractor separately. YOU NEVER BLAME THE CUSTOMER! The customer is always right. Additionally, it was not clear until after the work was done that the concrete contractor was a "SUB" contractor for Anchor. I was under the impression that he was just making a better offer on the spot since all the material was available the day of. Additionally, weather the concrete contractor did more work or not! We agreed for the pipes to be laid one way and you as the contracting agency should have had more oversight over your project for were they ended up. Speaking of oversight. On the morning of June 19, 2018, 2+ months after the job was completed the Fairfax water meter readers tore up my front lawn!! I was furious with them till I got to the end and realized they had sodded over my water meter! Yet again. This should have been caught prior to completing the job. There is zero reason to sod of the water meter. I had to repair the front lawn after the meter readers left and piece it together after dropping 6k on a job I should have been the official project manager for anyway. Finally, Anchors level of follow-up after a job is completed is zilch. I asked for lawn help because I am not a lawn person. I feel as though I was treated like some small pre-season side job that paid top dollar for bottom dollar customer service. To add, the level of creativity for the flower beds was very low and there a weeds all over. But who knows what I was not offered. I was clear I was not a lawn care specialist and was very apparently treated that way. I felt dooped. I had so much optimism in the beginning but was slowly proved otherwise.

They did an absolutely incredible job on our bathroom remodel, and the quality was worth every penny. Lawrence and his crew were fantastic from demo day to the final finishing touches. The tiling and vanity installation look amazing. Lawrence has excellent communication skills and kept everything strictly on track with our contract. Plus, when uncontrollable plan changes popped up, he was incredibly accommodating and offered great solutions. They truly brought our vision to life. Highly recommend, and we will definitely be using them again!

Amazing contractor!!!…read more Lawrence and his crew did a complete renovation of our basement to build an apartment for my parents. From the design through completion, it was a great experience. I found them here on Yelp and I obtained 3 quotes for the job. I had the quotes reviewed by an independent contractor who told me L&R's quote was what the job should reasonably cost. I called 4 references who all had a similar and very positive experience. Lawrence always communicated with me about schedule which had not been the case with other contractors. They were there working on my job every day, not showing up once or twice a week like some others. Any fluctuation to schedule or budget was discussed and agreed upon by both parties. We had a couple of unexpected plumbing delays but that was due to the original build not being up to the current code. I changed direction on a couple of design decisions and Lawrence was right there with me. The work was exceptional and the end product is amazing. I have had the nightmare contractor experience so was very cautious. This was exactly as the process should be and I plan to have them back in the fall to do more work. I give them my highest recommendation!

In July/August, we experienced a ceiling leak that caused significant damage throughout our home, impacting two bathrooms, the playroom, entryway hallway, and laundry room. After water mitigation and demolition were completed, we were left needing extensive repairs and full remodels of the affected areas. This was our first time dealing with a major home issue, and navigating insurance, contractors, and conflicting opinions felt overwhelming and stressful. I spoke with several contractors and received multiple estimates, but Alan stood out immediately. He was the first to respond and the first to give clear, straightforward, and honest answers. Beyond that, Alan is genuinely such a fun and easygoing person to work with, which made a stressful situation feel much more manageable. He has a great eye for design and prioritizes top-notch materials while still being realistic and respectful of budget. He guided us through the design process, helped with material selection, and made thoughtful recommendations every step of the way. Marlon and Emmanuel are incredibly knowledgeable, respectful, and truly kind. They treated our home with care and always took the time to explain what they were doing, which made us feel confident and at ease throughout the process. Fast forward to today, we finally have our home back -- and we couldn't be happier with the results! Not having functional bathrooms and access to certain rooms for months took a toll on our family and our mental health. Click Construction stepped in during a very difficult time and helped restore not just our home, but our peace of mind. My only regret is not finding them sooner. I've attached before-and-after photos so you can see the incredible transformation for yourself. I highly recommend Click Construction to anyone looking for quality work, honesty, and a team that truly cares.

The team is well versed in kitchen design and does beautiful kitchen designs (just seems the pics). Years later, it was time to replace everything, and we wanted a kitchen with a better flow, more space, and better quality cabinets and appliances. Most contractors we contacted simply wanted to replace everything without improving it. Bath Plus Kitchen has actual architects on staff, listened to my list of wants and needs, and then incorporated them. I liked that they change a base price for this, so that I had the option of taking the plans to a different contractor or of using their in-house building crew. We went with their building crew, and we're really happy with how the kitchen turned out. It's so much more open and spacious than before. I have lots of space for working. I upgraded to a powerful stove with a hood, both of which work great. I'm really happy with the quality of the cabinets -- such an upgrade from any I've had before, probably ever. I'm enjoying the little extras that they planned into the kitchen that wouldn't have occurred to me, like dimmers on all of the lights, the quality hardware, touch-sensitive faucet, even the matching wood-panel vent covers and switch plate. The building crew did a very good job keeping the site clean and performing quality work all the way around. Nothing has felt wobbly, looked crooked, or seemed in the slightest bit off. A few negatives: Bath Plus Kitchen is BUSY! We started working on this project in November 2022. We finalized the plans, picked out appliances, and put down a large deposit in early February 2023. Work on our kitchen actually began the second week of July. That's a while to wait! We also had a few communication challenges, like a shifting start date, when to expect the crew to be at our house, and who was responsible for arranging delivery of a few items. It was nothing awful, but worth keeping on top of. Overall, the kitchen looks great and is great to cook in, and I'm excited to have friends over. I think we will enjoy it for many years to come.
