Had an amazing experience with Anchor Rose Tattoo from start to finish. Called in and the gentleman who answered the phone was kind and very professional. I told him what I was looking to get and where I wanted my tattoo located. He asked questions and after that found the artist best for what I was looking for. Being I wanted black and gray he suggested Som. Set up an appointment for like a week out and asked if I'd drop of a deposit. Finally came the day to get my tattoo, I met with Som and we went over my tattoo I let him know it was for my sister, and he came up with a bad ass design and her nick name. Som is a super cool dude and even with a guy with anxiety put me at ease and we chopped it up during the tattoo. The rest of the staff were super friendly as well. Once Som was done I was blown away by his work, even a day later I keep looking at his work and and super happy. I have plenty of tattoos on me, and Soms work stands out. I showed my sister and she definitely wants to come in when she's in town. I will definitely be back, the rest of the staff was friendly as well, everyone at least said hi as I walked by. read more

So I had an appointment today to get to cover up a tattoo. Unfortunately when I got to the store it wrecked of mariruana and the owner's or artists do not care that some clients have the smoke allergy! I could not even spend a single minute in the store to get my tattoo done and when I mentioned that to the owner, he was so mad and rude to me that I had to take the smell as I got my tattoo done. They are so rude and take back to past thinking that all colored people do smoke mariruana and they forget that we are all not the same!!!! read more

piercings are dirt cheap and you get what you pay for. it will all be off center, and regardless of whether or not you have an appointment they will still make you wait for at least 30 minutes while they fuck around. BY FAR worst piercing experience i've ever had. don't come here if you care about your body modification. read more

I called beforehand about a month before her birthday. I was advised to come by to check out the shop. The parking lot is small but there was parking in the lot as well as on the street. I loved the ambiance of the shop the moment I walked in. Everyone in the shop was super friendly. They set us up with an appointment and took our ideas. We called a few weeks before to see if we could move the appointment up in the day and they were able to make the adjustment. Mo, the owner was our artist. He was great. He put us at ease being that this was our first tattoos. He was professional, caring, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. We made an appointment that day for our next tattoo. This time due to the styling, Mo suggested the artist Molly. I sent our ideas to Molly beforehand. When we arrived Molly had options for us to choose. She was so sweet, and gentle. First time coming here I've gotten all (4) of face piercings done at Avenue Tattoo. I got an eyebrow piercing 2 weeks ago and since then the piercing has come undone twice! The first time being 3 days after I got it. I haven't been touching it or anything like that. I'm lucky that it fell out at home and I was able to find the little ball but it's such a pain to screw it back in yourself. Came back for a special piece I've been wanting for years! Billy did an amazing job! It's everything and more! The lines are so clean and the detail is fantastic! The colors are vivid and exactly what I wanted! This was the most relaxing, enjoyable tattoo experience I've ever had. It's also my biggest piece so far and I'm honestly blown away! I'm so grateful to have this new piece of art created by Billy. Also, again the whole experience was awesome! I got a portrait tattoo of my dog done by Billy at Anchor Rose Tattoo. He did a good job, got the eyes right but not the ears and expression which to me is vital. When he finished the tattoo, I mentioned it and he said he would touch ups for free no problem, and to let it fully heal and come back. Well I went back today, he told me I was disillusioned, that my arm was not flat, and he was an artist that has been tattooing for 8 years. It was perfect as far as he was concerned.
