Worth it to take the shuttle (mini school bus with a couch and disco balls!) for $15/person to be dropped up at the top of Red Rocks - beats the long line walking up. $25/person pick up - approx 10 min walk but it's all downhill to the party bus and seemed way safer than all the taxi drivers in your face outside of the amphitheater. Brooks is awesome and takes care of you!! We stayed in the Rose Retreat again. It's a small room, but I love the big shower and mini fridge with Brita. The window air conditioning unit kept the place nice and cool with it being 95° outside. Private hot tub and robes in the closet. Breakfast is included. Order at check-in and enjoy the next morning. There is also fruit, bagels, coffee and tea, with alternative milk available. Bottomless mimosas available for a cost. We enjoyed a nice chess game with coffee after a delicious breakfast. Can't wait for the next visit!

This isn't a super nice or updated space, but we had everything we needed for our mixed bag of early 30s friends. My friends and I stayed in the Stone St. cottage, which is heavily Grateful Dead/psychedelic/ classic rock themed. The room is listed as sleeping 3, which we did on night one, but easily slept 4 on night 2. The grounds were so charming and eclectic. The cottage we were in was a little wonky and slanted on the floor, but the rooms were clean, the shower worked great and we had more than what we needed. We checked in super late in the darkness so we didn't get to experience a normal front desk check in, which I'm sure would brief us on procedures like pre-ordering breakfast the night before, but the staff was so accommodating when we showed up hungry and ordered bacon, eggs and potatoes in the AM. Mary was the cook and she was rad, quick witted and whipped up a lovely home cooked breakfast. There are 2 dogs (that we met) on site names Shokti (gorg white husky queen) and Mr. Dog (precious, hilarious chihuahua businessman) and we loved to pet and visit with them while in the main lodge. That space is incredible: kitschy, eclectic, trippy and warm, just like our whole stay! I could go on forever about how adult-summer-camp-esque the grounds were! Every cottage is themed, though we only entered ours. The covered hot tub was a crucial touch for our group in the crisp 50 degree weather to take a morning dip and unwind after the show. I'm unsure if all cottages come with hot tubs so definitely confirm if that's something you're interested in. The walkability to all the necessities and some breweries/ eateries was appealing when we had time to kill. Cliff House offers a shuttle to and from Red Rocks for a fixed price per rider. The shuttle to the venue leaves 15 minutes prior to doors which was a little late for us, so we opted to take the shuttle back and it was a highlight of the trip. Brook's organized the shuttle, sent us incredibly detailed instructions on where/ how to find her in a short, yellow school bus. I especially appreciate the details because we had been drinking etc and needed the depth of care taken to make sure we found her! The bus was stocked with beverages and we played music and just bopped down the hill, laughing our butts off. This was such a fun stay for us and it was thanks to the grounds, location, home cooked breakfast and tea in the lodge, Mary, Brooks, Shokti and Mr. Dog. I will recommend to anyone I know traveling that way!

The expertly appointed, and finished small houses with trees outside of every window, each with a rotating supply of birds, is owned and operated by a couple nice enough to be Canadians. The 40 yard hike up a slight grade on a lighted path is almost enough to convince you that you are "in the mountains." The view from the outdoor seating area in front of each house of the valley is calming and the altitude makes the night's sleep feel well earned. Highly recommend.

Juniper Lodge is a magical place, with lovely indoor and outdoor spaces to relax -- think rocking chairs, hot tub, game room, and firepits -- and Evergreen Lake and the cute little town of Evergreen are just a short drive away. In addition to the five rooms in the lodge, the property has two awesome-looking treehouses available to stay in, with plans for four more to be built in the near future. Although Juniper Lodge is conveniently located close to I-70, the property itself is woodsy and quiet. We enjoyed making s'mores at one of the firepits while watching swarms of hummingbirds drink and battle each other at the nearby feeders. I loved sitting in one of the rocking chairs on the deck overlooking the forest, reading my book, drinking my coffee, and listening to the birds sing. We also explored the trail above the lodge leading to the treehouses and a stage area that would probably be a neat place for a wedding. We only met Ashley during this visit, but she was kind, attentive, and passionate about the property. We would highly recommend Juniper Lodge to anyone looking for a beautiful, quiet, and romantic place to stay.

They get you as close to the top of the parking area as they can for drop-off. I hopped right in the line from where they dropped us. Then, for pick-up, they literally meet you in the field that is called the Jurassic lot where everyone has to get picked up at. I was expecting to have to look for their car in a sea of cars but Johnny and Enrique were literally standing there waiting for us when we got off the shuttle from the venue. Thanks guys! The views at Arrowhead Manor are amazing! It happened to randomly snow on my second day there. It was a gorgeous surprise! For a day everything was blanketed in glistening snow and then it melted the next day. If you are staying in one of the smaller rooms (the ones on the left side of the house) you will have a patio that the 3 rooms share. It has 2 tables and chairs and a nice view. 420 friendly. But the main deck outside The Grand Room! That's where you want to go for views. It's so beautiful! The mountains. The trees. Also 420 friendly. And The Grand Room itself is such a vibe. Almost Victorian. And there's old jazz and big band playing over the speakers. It's lovely :) The room was also fabulous! It had a similar old-timey feel like The Grand Room, which I appreciated. Linens were great, bed was great, bathroom was gorgeous! They come to freshen up the room every day, but you can put the door sign to Do Not Disturb and they won't enter to clean if you don't want or need them to. Overall, I really loved my stay here. I got in at around midnight on my first night and was able to get myself in and upstairs and settled without needing to contact anyone. (They send you an email with instructions on how to enter) They do offer breakfast, which I cannot speak for, as I slept past the breakfast time every morning, which I believe was around 830/9. However, I did make use of the ice machine downstairs and the microwave upstairs. Both very handy! Once again, I just loved this place. It was right up my alley. I'm staying in Blue Spruce 1 and it's a lovely and spacious retreat for a honeymoon or getaway from the city. Very cozy and beautiful. Look at my photos and you'll understand why. I will note that almost every surface above 6' high is thickly coated with dust and cobwebs. Loss of a star.

The other problem is that we failed to bring snacks and then realized we were hungry at 11 pm. They didn't even have an olive bar, I could not believe it. Ridiculous. You see that mini fridge? If I were smarter, I could have had so many snacks in there. Instead, I insisted we try to walk and find something down the street, because this is Colorado and at the very least there is some bar food nearby within walking distance. Not at 11 pm. Nothing open, no one on the streets maybe some mountain lions, at least the bears were hibernating. We ate lunch at the restaurant down the street recommended by the front desk. Murphys closes at 9 pm. Delicious, I owe them a five star review. Ordered conservatively for some reason, but should have had leftovers on the mind. There is a happy hour at 530 pm with beer and maybe even some food, but we were enjoying the amenities of our room too much. So, this is a public service announcement, I suggest you bring food if your dietary needs involve late night snacking. Otherwise when you realize everything is closed, you'll wish you said you wanted breakfast at 8 am instead of 10 am and then your boyfriend will be unable to wait, has to go down the street and then you have four breakfasts by then. I'm not a high maintenance princess type so I do not expect a robe. I definitely don't expect it to be that soft. Since it had to be that soft, I got the idea there were supposed to be matching slippers hiding somewhere. I never found them. We plan to return in the near future, and bring some snacks and slippers. I'll tell you how that goes.

It was very different than anywhere that i have stayed in the past. Only downside of our room was that it was right above the bar next door and folks were out there talking fairly loudly for quite awhile which is not what you want when you are leaving at 430 am the next morning. I found fireside online and it was by far the most affordable option in Breckenridge for a single night so I went for it in a two person dorm, and luckily I happened to be the only one in that room that night! Finding the place was also very easy, they provide very clear instructions and there is plenty of parking at the church across the street (just mind their specific parking instructions and you won't have any trouble). Re: the interior: it's actually a very large place with two full baths and one half bath. I never even saw/heard another guest when I came but again it was late. The vibe was that it was a very comfy, chill place - they have soothing music playing over by the office door where the coffee/tea machines are, and there is a small kitchen and living room area. They had a real fire going in the living room area and there were games and books and lots of "things to do" brochures around, so truly it felt like being in a cozy cabin. I genuinely really loved that vibe. Not to mention it's quite close to the main road - you could easily walk but because it was raining heavily the night I came, I did drive all of 3 minutes to avoid walking 15 in the rain to the bar on Main Street I wanted to go to. They also sent me a text when i came in case i had questions, so they are available to help you. Overall - if you're coming and staying here for just a night or two and all you need is a bed/shower/safe space, this place is GREAT. The "Free Ride" city bus stops in front of the Fireside Inn, and can take you to the Gondola and Breck Station, if you don't feel like making the 7-minute walk. [Tip: Epic Mountain Express shuttle vans from the airport can drop you directly at the Fireside Inn!] Our host Madi communicated beautifully before and during our visit. She and her family have put a lot of love and thought into making this a warm refuge from the cold and excitement that is Breckenridge.

The bride and groom had their own cabin in the meadow -- so romantic! What a charming place! My husband and I stayed in the Colorado Sun room, which had so many amenities: a kitchenette, private hot tub, double-sided fireplace, two-person shower, and even a sauna! The whole B&B had just a ton of history and character. The furnishings were all super comfortable, with a relaxed, rustic vibe. A few things needed some updating and fixing, though. There was no hot water from the kitchen sink of our room because the little under-sink water heater was broken. One of the baseboards had come lose in the bathroom and there was tons of mold on the drywall. The water up there is well water, and it was incredibly soft; hard to wash the shampoo out of your hair, and it tasted NASTY. Definitely consider bringing your own bottled drinking water if you're going to stay a few days. The breakfast part of the bed and breakfast was pretty good. Two of the staff came up each morning to cook and serve hearty potatoes, sausage, eggs, fruit salad, coffee, orange juice, etc. It wasn't particularly good, but it was nice to have a hot, served meal that wasn't pizza delivery. We ate breakfast outside, where the bees were a nuisance because they wanted all of our food. We had just a fantastic weekend up here! Definitely the best wedding I've ever been to. I would highly recommend Meadow Creek for events of all kinds, but especially if you want to rent out the whole place.

We selected the separate cabin in the meadow for our two day stay. Initial appearance was exciting but once we occupied unit we found how lacking it was. It is billed as small and intimate but we found the place "just" dirty and tried to overlook it. Clean towels and sheets were provided. Screen door did not fit so bugs, gnats, flies and moths inside. Had a King bed but for us the mattress was too soft. Very low toilet and small shower. Hot tub in room puts off odor and cycles throughout the day - meaning it comes on 2-3 times at night in a very quiet setting. Local water tasted and smelled terrible...so bring bottled water (some provided). Two FOLDING chairs provided for deck which needs upkeep badly. When we arrived we had no clue where to go for check in. - which door? 9am breakfast is too late for us and was ok. Visiting with other guests always a plus. The Elk in the meadow was a real plus too.

The place is adorable and very, very charming! Not only is it adorable, it's very well kept and very clean! The staff was so friendly and professional. Our room was amazing and the bed was super comfy! It felt like we were staying at a friend's house rather than a hotel - but I suppose that's one of the charms about staying at a B&B! In the middle of the night, the hot water heater went out and the staff was quick to get it fixed and they discounted people's stays, which I thought was super rad of them. The breakfast was so good! It was definitely one of the healthiest breakfasts I've ever had, and not only was it healthy, it was tasty! We had veggies, eggs, fresh baked cranberry bread, fruit, and yogurt! They also had all kinds of teas to choose from. If I end up in Boulder again, I'm definitely going to book another stay! It was seriously lovely.
