Everything that's for sale always looks fresh, clean and appetizing. Besides the fresh and frozen seafood they offer all kinds of jarred goods, spices and handy kitchen tools. I've only ever shopped on their app, but after my recent experience I'll try to just walk in and see what's available. This is quite risky if you already have dinner plans, plus using their app is very easy and convenient. Unfortunately, after my last experience, I prefer to put my finger on what I want to make sure I get exactly the cut of fish I'm looking for. It didn't seem like a big deal, because the fish was still fresh and delicious, but it slightly changed my approach to its preparation. The store is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Minor Fisheries is a retail outlet that get their supply from the local fisheries. Minor has walleye, perch, whitefish. They even have smoked whitefish and walleye cheeks. Their fish fry is excellent...I had a 3 piece walleye, w vinegar slaw, and fresh cut fries (dinner roll included). All excellent. The walleye is like a panko-esque crust..very delicate flaky white fish. Everything was excellent and for a whopping 16 dollars Canadian...which as of this writing is about .74 cents on the dollar. Amazing value. Also...if you charge the dinner, use an Amex card....they give the best exchange rate. Will be back soon!
