    Dessert cabinet!

I was so excited to see a mini (personal) pizza offered on their menu! That's not a common find for other local pizzerias. I decided to get the mini mushroom pizza to go and was pleasantly surprised they used portebello mushrooms which gave it lots of mushroom flavor! I also got suckered into ordering their "garlic crust" because I'm a garlic lover so why not give it a try? I have to say, it sounded and looked better than it ended up tasting. They really layered on the sauce and cheese which I LOVE, but the sauce was sweeter than I normally like and the pizza seemed a bit undercooked. I'm also not convinced that I got the garlic crust I ordered as it didn't seem to have any additional garlic flavoring on it. I do like the feel of this pizza shop though. The guy at the front counter was warm and welcoming. They have a plethora of home-made desserts in the front cabinet and their menu is nicely displayed on a big board when you walk in. I am very interested to try some of their other options!

Shawn's Pizza Reviews REVIEW # 5 EDEN'S SEAFOOD & PIZZERIA EDEN, NY Score 6.8 Recommended by Ray Z. Holy cheese! This pizza is guaranteed to fill you. A bit too much cheese for my liking but the taste is pretty decent. Dining room closed due to covid and they do not deliver. It was fishy that this place is half seafood/half pizzeria but the pie in general was not half bad.

    Antipasto split

Darn it, well another one bite's the dust. Something is/has happened to this place. Why? Because we won't drive over 20 miles to get pizza, antipasto, sandwiches and or fried chicken from just any old place. Yet now we're done. Anyone can stub their toe in the restaurant business, for any number of reasons and we're very understanding about it. However 3 strikes and your out is our basic philosophy. It started with the antipasto which was a wonderfully generous and consistent. Then we got it and the proteins were diced up into tiny little pieces. Which just doesn't work. The next time was back to normal size but the ingredients seemed less. The last time and it wasn't the same at all. No banana peppers less then half the usual proteins, cheese and other toppings. Then came the fried chicken. It was ALWAYS great. I mean as good as any I've ever had and I'm a fried chicken fan so driving for the good stuff is no problem. Then it was different. Couldn't tell you what it was we just looked at each other and said huh, that's disappointing. A few weeks later it was worse my SWAG was maybe fry oil wasn't hot enough or a bit past it's prime or someone made a mistake with the recipe because it was mediocre at best but we ate it. This last time it was officially terrible and frankly inedible. Goodness for fried chicken to be inedible for me, well you get the idea. I don't remember ever throwing away fried chicken and I'm an old guy so this was a first for me. My guess is what I suspected last time. That it was cooked in old blown out fry oil. If you ever had fried chicken, ff, etc cooked with old oil you'd know. It tastes very greasy with a back flavor of burned oil. Last was the pizza. Always a winner, flavorful crust, quality ingredients... then I didn't even recognize it. The ingredients were much less than the numerous other visits and the dough was now flat. Not as in shape but in freshness and flavor. It tasted like it was old as well. Old dough looses its flavor, texture and height etc and this had those characteristics. That happened twice. There can be any number of reasons for the changes we experienced. We are loyal customers who understand that stuff happens BUT we also know when it's time to move on.

Very good food especially subs and chicken fingers, service is nice and fast usually. During the summer the outdoor seating is nice.

I am not the biggest fan of their pizza, but their subs and wings are to die for! Reasonably priced and the employees are always very nice.

What a find!!! I almost don't want to leave a review because…read morethis place should really remain a secret !!!!! I lived in Dunkirk for several years, but the changes that they have made to the pier and boardwalk are really unbelievable !!!! Shops & restaurants and this gem!! Let me be very clear in saying that there are maybe three tables inside; this is definitely a grab and go restaurant . However there is a huge patio with many many tables even if they are full, which is doubtful, you could certainly grab a spot on the boardwalk nearby . We happened to have a beautiful night and we have an event to go to at SUNY Fredonia so a friend recommended this place . We waited about 15 minutes to place our order. After ordering we enjoyed our drinks out on the patio while we waited for our food. I opted for an alcoholic beverage while my son had a virgin piña colada. Our number was called maybe 15 minutes later and we were served absolute deliciousness. My son ordered the California, which was a delicious crispy fish sandwich while I opted for an Asian chicken wrap. Our food was absolutely delicious. Served just right. The food temperature was perfect and the portions were ample . The service was wonderful. If I ever come upon a beautiful night again in Dunkirk, I will definitely be visiting this place !!!!

Their selection of Polish and Italian sausages is impressive and people flock there to buy them. We just had New York strip steaks from Urbaniak's for dinner and they were the best. We stop in there specifically to buy their Maryland crab cakes, which are the tastiest pre-made crab cakes we've ever had. Prices are very reasonable too. Erie is lucky to have such a quality butcher shop where everything is fresh.

The smoked chicken breast is absolutely delicious and the perfect meat for a cracker. Their smoked salmon is legit and I saw that as a native of Seattle who is VERY pick about his salmon. And their deli emats00well, if you associated delis with processed meats as I do--forget about it. These deli meats are truly slices fresh meats. Beyond fresh and local being a better choice to support your local community, it is also VASTLY healthier because it is not packed with sodium nd preservatives. So if you prefer a lower sodium diet like me, you can actually have deli meat again! (Try the ox tail--delicious tender and lightly salted but don't forget the free Au jus if you are a big salt fan). Prices: shocking, I would have to say on par or in the case of some of their cheeses BETTER priced than the grocery stores. So not, high quality and healthier options do not have to mean higher prices. OK, So the meats are delicious, the products are locally made and fresh and the prices are good. So what is the catch? Does the Service suck? No, not it does not. I have always received friendly service and timely. If you come in the morning, it can get very busy so remember to grab a number and try not to be rude or demanding. They are kind and courteous but no one likes a noisy jack ass. Overall, from my personal perspective, if you are buying meats for the grill, for your sandwiches or just as a tasty snack, you cannot go wrong with Urbaniaks.
