The nice thing is, I had changed my mind a bit since showing the initial proof to Zion Tattoo when I initially booked. Travis was totally fine with it and adjusted to my wants. I also appreciated how he added his input on my ideas to ensure they looked good upon completion. I was there for about 45 minutes, everything was fast and inclusive. It was an amazing experience in a clean and comfortable environment and I appreciated how Travis kept checking in with me to make sure I was doing alright and was just very personable. She let us in, and was not wearing a mask...not cool. Then, when my niece shared with her where she wanted her tattoo placed, Jessie had a complete personality change. She instantly got an attitude and tried really hard to talk my niece out of what she wanted. What she didn't understand was that this piece was symbolic for a mental health struggle and was something that was very important to my niece. Jessie made this statement, "no, that's going to look retarded." She said, " I'm not going to tattoo a stupid tattoo on you, and that'll be stupid." At that point my niece was in the verge of tears and I ended it and said we are declining any tattoo from you and will go elsewhere. I've been tattooed by many fine artists in the twin cities and have never been treated like that or had an artist insult the ideas or you personally. I would take your good money elsewhere. It appears that when she doesn't care for your tattoo, she treats you poorly.

Since I knew id have to keep this initial piercing in my nose for nearly a year, I opted for something simple. She made sure to explain the piercing process and in no time I had my nose pierced! It's been about 6 weeks and my nose appears to be healing great I will come back to Electric Strawberry when I'm ready to swap it out for a new piece. The facility was clean and observed several rules to help with ensuring safety in light of COVID-19. I scheduled an appointment with Hannah via email and was able to get pierced the next day or so. She and the receptionist were very good at explaining the process to me, the jewelry, and answering any questions I had.
