Mr. Peevler appraised a property I was involved with a few months ago. First contact with him led…read moreme to believe he didn't want to do the job because he was short with me and rude. He did not even have the correct contact person. When I tried to explain who the contact was, he interrupted me and told me he wanted the phone number so he could get this over with. Moving forward his appraisal was found to be full of misrepresentations. His pictures were not thought out and would leave one to believe it was done purposely. He was rude to the occupants of the home and made unnecessary comments that showed he didn't know what he was saying let alone doing. After the appraisal came back an appeal was sent in for him to justify his findings, misrepresentation of comments and shoddy pictures. His justification was that I failed to show or prove he was wrong. I live in the home and I knew your findings were wrong and baseless. Sorry I am not a real estate attorney, agent, or appraiser I know what I see and can read and you were not factual. You basically we're wrong on your appeal and was caught. Soooo you put it back on me to show the discrepancies. Your comments on the appeal was in direct contrast of your comments to the homeowner. Oh by the way I had to spend thousands of dollars to relocate from my sold home while we needlessly had to wait for the appeal process to take its course. Our real estate agent tried to make things easier for us but with you it was running into a block wall. If you want to know the value of a fully paid solar panel system that is grandfathered in for the new buyers, just google it. I did. It was easy. Oh if you want to know the difference between a 4 car or 5 car garage look at it closer. Lastly take closer measurements of a driveway that you think only holds 4 cars when actually it can hold a minimum of 8 and possibly 10. Your comments to the home owner while doing the appraisal gave your shoddy appraisal away. This is a newer home in a highly sought after neighborhood. Please leave your bitterness at home on your next job. All was worked out and we are happy in Prescott, loving what we see and how it makes us feel. Please enjoy it also.
