What a wonderful place to camp in Redcrest on Avenue of the Giants. Dean, Susan, Rick, and the entire team are such kind and amazing hosts. We just love it here. The spaces all have full hookups with fire pits and views in every direction. They also have onsite restrooms and laundry facilities. You must have a satellite dish if you plan to watch TV, although they do offer free WI-FI. The gift shop is also one of the best around and offers a wide array of gifts and custom creations as well as cold refreshments. The Immortal Tree is also on site for viewing, and there is an abundant amount of trails and activities nearby. Highly recommended.

Very nice park next to the beautiful redwoods. Easy access for big rigs. Only negative is no cell service for Verizon. Highly recommend!

Very nice well kept park. Roomy level sites with easy access. Awesome gift shop and good general store. Very quiet with scents of the redwoods. Nice ride on Avenue of Giants to get there. It does get warm heading up from the south but cooler in the park. Full hookups with 50A and room for big class A's towing. Not much to do there but relax. You need a tow car or come with a TT and use your truck to sightsee. No AT&T cellular but good WiFi. We stayed before and after visiting the Ferndale dog show.

Three hundred yards of berry bushes along the park's edge. Plum trees as well.

What a nice surprise. Quiet, level, full hookup sites, located right on the Avenue of the Giants in one of our favorite National Parks. COVID has all the showers and bathrooms closed, so your RV must be completely self-contained *and* you need a reservation - so call ahead. Sites are a bit exposed but our weather was perfect for setting out our chairs and cooking on the table, provided. In one day we took a couple hikes, then drove out to Shelter Cove, only 50 miles but be aware the road is twisty. A great location in a beautiful setting. +/- $50 per night.

Great place to take our 5th wheel too. Close to Ferndale and Eureka to visit and grab a bite.

Really nice RV park with clean & large spots for your RV. Next to it is a store & short trail with beautiful redwoods for pictures.

Two nights in a tent site this month…read more Pros: Fantastic service and communication by the camp host, both before and during our two night stay. Bathrooms were very clean, well lit, and fully functional. Firewood and other necessities were delivered right to our site upon arrival - so awesome! The patch of old growth we camped in was long-ago cut large trees which had sprouted a dozen or so normal trees out of them. The woods were DARK due to dense canopies and staved off the rain when it fell, which we loved. Most importantly, this CG doesn't fill up six months ahead of arrival date so you can actually book them like a normal campground used to be (I'm glaring at YOU, California State Parks). Cons: Loud road noise due to proximity to 101 and surface roads. In fact, several of the sites abut the neighboring private property, allowing you to see through an old privacy fence directly into their back yard. Luckily our host let us swap spots when we realized this. Several tent campsites lacked picnic tables, which made me concerned if they'd have been full (they definitely weren't this May weekend). The fire rings were sufficient but also just old wheels. Showers in bathroom were in dire need of new fixtures (hard water made them look quite...eek...just glad I wasn't wearing my glasses while I showered). We recognized this area is a difficult one to have high expectations in due to remoteness and gave an extra star for the supremely kind and helpful woman who hosted us. We may not be back up here again, but if we are I hope to run into her.

I got completely lost in the magic of those towering redwoods , which honestly, I didn't mind one bit. The camp I originally planned to stay at ended up being closed for the season, and by then I was tired... but also a little nervous to camp alone in the forest. Then I stumbled across this place, and let me tell you, what a gift. The people were so friendly and accommodating, and the whole atmosphere just felt safe and peaceful. The bathrooms and showers? So clean. The other campers? Quiet and respectful. I didn't end up using the pool or hot tub, but I peeked in while pulling up, and it looked calm and cozy , the kind of place you can actually unwind. I felt so comfortable that I slept like a baby. Woke up feeling thankful , truly thankful , for the kindness of strangers and the little moments that make solo travel so worth it. I'll definitely be back... next time with my family.

You can tell that once upon a time this place was really nice during to the amenities they have. However, I don't think anything has been fixed, updated or possibly deep cleaned since the opening. I would guess that was a long time ago, sadly. We checked in late and after sunset, so you couldn't really see what the property looked like. The photos and reviews on the KOA website, so we hoped for the best. However, upon waking up to heavy machinery the next morning before 7am and barking dogs, it wasn't looking good. Once the store was open, I went inside to speak with the front desk. Upon my walk, I quickly realized how dirty and old the property was. Once I got inside, it only became more apparent. Lot of dust, ignore the mess signs/things don't work signs, and a girl at the front who just nodded. Not very helpful to say the least. I will spare the other details of some of the garbage and mess we encountered, but let's just say we didn't leave our RV much. Our site was also dirty and didn't look like it had been cleaned since a few stays ago. Not worth the price we paid at all!
