Love the new addition to the neighborhood. I can't imagine how difficult it is to open a new restaurant in the middle of a pandemic but I am very pleased that &pizza chose to open a branch in downtown Silver Spring. Currently, the menu is limited but you can build your own pizza with a wide range of cheeses, sauces, proteins, and toppings. My goat cheese, arugula, caramelized onion pizza was fantastic! Despite dining in the dead of winter, the blood orange jasmine tea was reminiscent of summer and very refreshing. Can't wait to try out more mix and match options. read more

I'm a true &Pizza fan, so I was super excited to see this location being opened in my neighborhood. The dough is a little thicker at this location. Don't know if it is intentional or not, but I like it that way. A little skimpy on toppings, but they're nice enough to add a little more, if you ask. Since, it's a new location, I guess they have some sort of Brand Ambassador in the store. I think this was supposed to be a positive, but this particular Ambassador is extremely & unnecessarily rude and aggressive. She is actually creating a bad experience before you can get fully inside the door. I thought maybe it was just an isolated incident, until she literally almost physically fought another customer. &Pizza is located at the corner of Wayne and Fenton,  right across from the Silver Spring Library and in what appears to be a Building named "Central", how New York City-ish...think Broadway. I clearly miss NYC and as I digress back to &Pizza. As the building name states, the location is very central, about 2 blocks from the Silver Spring metro(until the Purple line) and 2 blocks from "City Place." Street parking is available but there are also plenty of garages nearby. My experience at this location was one of the best. I placed my order via the App and received confirmation immediately via text. My pie or 'Za' was being made as I made my way to the location. Again the street parking was a plus in DT Silver Spring and I didn't put any money in the meter because I got a text, my order was ready and I was in "Central" Silver Spring....yep no meter watchers. The restaurant was CLEAN, the music was playing awesome tunes and I was acknowledged right away. Pick-up is located to the left. I was in and out in 2 min and the pizza was AMAZING. The dough was fluffy, crisp and tasty and the toppings were fresh...I shared and it was a hit. Needless to say this won't be the last visit. I have never heard of &pizza until today and I'm so glad I chose this place for lunch. I ordered Maverick and if you are a meat lover person like me, this is a must try. It has classic tomato, fresh mozzarella, salami, pepperoni, and italian sausage topped it off with parmesan and basil pesto yummyyyy. I also tried their Mango Passion Fruit and that drink is to die for This place has delicious food, excellent service, and the most important thing is the restaurant looks clean! read more

&Pizza is always solid no matter what location but the staff at this location is the best from all the other locations I've been to. The staff is super friendly and seem to work well together to get customers in and out. The restaurant itself is clean and has squares on the floor to indicate how far customers should stand apart. Stopped here after going to the Silver Spring library with my 2 year old. Restaurant was clean and I had my pizza within 5 minutes. They dont have kid-size pizza but 1 pizza is enough food for 1 adult and a toddler. My kid is a picky eater but she loved this pizza. This location is hit or miss. In the past other locations have served well. This location has a lot to be desired. Contactless delivery (which I DID NOT request) equals leaving pizza outside your door on the FLOOR, not even in a bag, and to top it off no notification that you have arrived. I waited for my delivery and when hadn't arrived, I decided to go downstairs to wait for the driver, but, there it was sitting on the floor!!!! Yes, I received the pizza, not delivered as requested, but sitting on the hallway floor, which by now, was COLD. To top it off, it was over cooked; the crust was hard and crunchy! I'll be honest that I'm not a pizza person (let the gasps of horror ensue). What I mean is that I've been let down too often by greasy, lackluster pies from the big chains like PJs and Dominos at gatherings. You'll eat a couple slices for the sake of filling yourself but don't genuinely enjoy it- or worse, you wonder why you did (big time calorie remorse). My one pizza chain exception might be Ledos, but even then it depends on what you get. &pizza is totally different. It's build your own, freshly baked, and the ingredients are so tasty- spicy tomato sauce, garlic drizzle, hot honey (yes!!), feta, etc. It's so nice to eat a pizza where each bite has FLAVOR. This is the way pizza was meant to be, because the usual cheese grease+bland tomato sauce ain't it. I think the quality of ingredients also plays a huge role in the final taste. The crust for example comes out thin and crispy, but a little fluffy on the edges. The veggies are fresh and not wilty. Also, I never thought I'd say this at a pizza place, but their chicken is my favorite protein to get and substitute out others for. It's always tender and not dry, whereas their pepperoni and sausage are more teeny and sparse. My go-tos on the menu are the Billie with chicken added (so good if you're a white pizza fan) and American Honey with chicken substituting the pepperoni. The first has an amazing white pizza base plus pesto drizzle, caramelized onions, and garlic drizzle. The second is a spicy tomato sauce base with feta, arugula, and their amazing sweet-with-a-kick hot honey. If you're ordering on the app, just an FYI it's kind of buggy. I've only had it work for me once out of the five times I've gone. If you have a deal in your wallet to use, before applying to your cart in the all, take a screenshot of the QR code. That way if it bugs out (for me, that's usually the screen going blank) you can just go order in-person and scan the code at checkout. I think they're working on it but probably need to hire a new developer. If you're ordering in-person, if the menu item you want isn't on the standard menu (e.g., Billie is considered a special) the staff probably won't know it and you're better off reading or showing them the individual ingredients list. I'm not a soda person, but they have some very cool and fun flavors and the one time I had a free drink promo I enjoyed the mango passion fruit one. Finally, I've been to other &pizza locations (Chinatown and Pike & Rose), and I think this one is my favorite in terms of quality and consistency. read more

This pizza place is located right in downtown silver spring and right across from the silver spring library (great to grab pizza after a long study session!). I love how you can customize your pizza with as little or as many toppings as you want, with a set price (extra charge if you want gluten free dough of course). We were hoping this was another good option for pizza in Silver Spring. Our first order last week was very sloppy but we chalked it up to a new location.
