I golf there every summer with friends in a scramble tournament and the Forest Hills is always a good host, and you can tell they truly appreciate the business. At the clubhouse, they have a 19th hole bar on the lower level and Izzo's restaurant on the top level. You're only a mile or so west of Detroit Lakes, but you can also rent rooms at the resort. There is also a small mini golf course and ice cream shop adjacent to the parking lot.

Lots of amenities like playground, horseshoe pits, birdie golf course, a building with tons of games and activities if it's raining. There are a ton of rules, but that's what makes it so nice! It is super quiet. The owners are usually on site running around maintaining everything. We look forward to staying here twice every season!
