I said that wouldn't work for us because we'd be setting up the karaoke on the back patio so we needed a monitor. He then said he had one and would have it all ready for pickup, which I thought her was odd but gave him the benefit of the doubt. My husband picked it up the next morning and Kurt plugged everything in first to make sure it all worked. The monitor wouldn't come on at first, Kurt unplugged it and plugged it back in, then it worked. Kurt said the cable just wasn't plugged in all the way. Throughout the party we struggled with the monitor malfunctioning. I texted him the next day and said, "We had issues with the monitor as you probably know" but he didn't respond to this text comment. When I returned the equipment in-person he asked me about the monitor not working as if he didn't know. I explained the details of how it wasn't working, including that we had to repeatedly unplug/plug it back in, plus there were times the monitor screen just went blank even though we could see that power was reaching the monitor, so it didn't seem like a cable issue. He didn't seem surprised or concerned, was unapologetic about the issues, and was mostly quiet about it altogether. He did not offer me any customer service options. We had a good time regardless but I believe he may have knowingly rented me a malfunctioning monitor. It was also confusing finding his house once I entered the gate. We rent karaoke equipment probably 4x a year and will rent from another outfit next time.

Our big day came around and it was ruined. He played nothing we had talked about at our meeting, when my guest requested music he would respond by saying "I don't like music so I need to know who sings it or I cant play it." When songs were requested they were never played! I asked him many of times to play some music to get everyone on the dance floor his response was "I don't know what to do." After getting very frustrated with him my brother went to confront him, asking him why he had not played a song that was requested hours ago, he began yelling at my brother! This so called DJ then got on his microphone in front of all my guest and said "I'm going to need the bride up here I am not going to deal with your brother." My guest went silent it was horrible!!! But wait it gets better!! I then went up to the DJ booth and he started yelling at me on his microphone! One of my guest came and asked him why are you talking so we can all hear you? He said "because I can because I have a microphone, this can be the wedding singer all over again!" He then said people thanks for coming and have a good night! My wedding still had a hour left and he was telling my guest to leave!! He started screaming now on his microphone "security, security, security." I was mortified!! He then called 911 and told them there was a fight going on! There was no fight at all the only person being out of control was him!! Everyone else was in shock! Within minutes we had 20 swat team police men running in asking where the fight was! They ended up leaving and apologizing but the last hour of my reception was ruined! It was the worst night and I have him to blame. DON'T consider hiring this man if you want to have good music and a good time he will ruin the day you have waited for! He is over priced I was willing to pay more as people say you get what you pay for well that is not the case here!! Run while you can!!

There are 2 sides & we chose the side with the red brick reception area and it truly was perfect. When we initially toured the venue we worked with Katie and then all of our subsequent planning meetings were with her up until our very last meeting 10 days prior to the venue. She is very knowledgable, but can be impatient and a bit snappy at times, especially if you ask questions or don't quite understand what she means the first time she says it. My husband and I felt this was somewhat off-putting, but rolled with it anyways because what are you gonna do? Our final meeting 10 days before the wedding we worked with the 1st person outside of Katie, and it was Gerardo. Gerardo is INCREDIBLE. He was patient, kind, and really went the extra mile to ensure we not only understood all of the moving parts but also felt comfortable and excited about the most special day of our lives. We asked him if he could be our day of coordinator and he arranged it so we actually worked with him at both our rehearsal and our wedding day. He is the reason this review is 5 stars. On the day of our wedding we had an issue with the arch we had rented and when he came to tell me about it he already had a solution so all I had to do was OK the course correction instead of problem solve a stressful situation on my wedding day. Our banquet captain was also incredible (I can't remember her name but we connected over Fourth Wing the book - she'll know who she is!) and really took care of us after Gerardo left. We also utilized the DJ and bartender provided by the venue. Our DJ was great, but our bartender was super drunk and taking shots in front of my guests when he should have been serving them. Probably something the venue could look into to prevent the next couple/guests from having to deal with that. All in all, the day was more beautiful and fun than I could have ever imagined, and I am really thankful we were able to work with Gerardo and our amazing banquet captain because they really went above and beyond!

Dust on large mirror leaning against the wall, they told her to keep the dress hanging there. It rained... ceiling has multiple leaks! They brought out Home Depot buckets on tables where guest were standing during cocktail hour. No towels/ no fans/ 1 mop/ 1 broom. Water and mud all over the floors, with no way to clean it up. The tent/ reception. The staff were not helpful at all. The bride, my cousin and her husband had their sweetheart table flooded. My poor cousin's feet were soaked when she tried to sit down at her table to eat dinner. My Uncle, bride's father, kept asking staff to help mop up the floor so guest would not slip. He was pissed since he had to keep trying to find somebody who could actually help. They did not even bring out towels and said they had no more mops to help clean up the puddles. I don't know if they're used to hiring young kids who aren't trained outside of serving food, set up and teardown... Just make sure you have a wedding coordinator to help make everything go smoothly. Staff did not help with anything. Staff shrugged and said let me ask. No towels, fans, blow dryers, then ceiling had multiple leaks, one old bathroom, where all the guests were in the same room as the couple taking their pictures during cocktail hour. When it was all over, she cried, and understandably upset with how everything was handled. I don't want anyone else to ever feel that way.

It is a large venue and could accommodate quite a large crowd. I thought it was weird after we did the ceremony that we had to walk out of the gates and down the side walk to get to the cocktail hour area. Since I was not getting married, I am not sure what is included in their packages, but the bartender was very nice and made great drinks. All of the staff I interacted with were very friendly. They have plenty of parking and the bathrooms are enormous. Definitely check this venue out if you are getting married or even just having an event!
