During the recent cold snap that came through, our furnace went out. Anderson Air responded relatively quickly, getting a technician on site that Sunday afternoon who diagnosed the issue as the heat exchanger. It clearly had cracks rusted in the pipes and needed to be replaced. Monday - the supply house was closed Tuesday - the part was not in stock and had to be ordered Wednesday - heat exchanger replaced, then realized the control board had a short that also required a replacement Thursday 3:30 PM - finally got the furnace working again. We have 4 small kids at home, and my wife is pregnant - we were without heat for 5 full days, and Anderson's response was not urgent. Subsequently, the Heat Exchanger was covered under warranty and we were hit with a $2,300 bill for "labor". After asking for clarity this generic line from their pricing sheet included labor, "other parts" and refrigerant among other things. We were charged to refill the refrigerant when the heat exchanger was replaced... This is a reflection of faulty management, and taking advantage of customers. We have both up and downstairs systems. They are ~15 years old. One compressor died and the other one was "noisy". In the process learned the old R-22 refrigerant systems are now outlawed by the EPA. Decided to have both systems replaced and not "patch" the issue. We got 3 quotes the same day and chose Anderson Air. Very professional, took the time to completely map out the current systems, and offered a very easy to understand quote. They even included a higher capacity system with upsized ductwork. Called for an estimate after using this company in the past, and was pleased with the work and the technicians they sent to do the work. That being said, the sales department on the other hand used tactics they should be ashamed of. Unfortunately, this has become common practice across many industries! I not only received a quote twice as high as all the other quotes. The reasons I was given for this astronomical price we're false or grossly overexaggerated! I am a licensed HVAC contractor, I let the technician/WANNA BE SALESMAN, know this upfront only to hopefully get a straight answer to my questions, I did not! He proceeded to try to convince me the reasons for the price were special order equipment, or hard to come by, they are not, I have the resources to verify this! It gets better. He then proceeded to tell me the price is the same weather it's a natural gas or electric air handler install! Ask any respectable HVAC company, owner or technician and they will tell you it's night and day between the two. Companies like this, and they aren't alone, should be held accountable! This company installed HVAC systems for our entire subdivision, and the results have been a disaster. Nearly everyone in the neighborhood has experienced ongoing issues, and multiple independent technicians have pointed out serious installation flaws. I strongly recommend staying far away from this company. At one point there was even talk about it a class action lawsuit although unfortunately I don't think that went forward. read more

Called company, @ 9/23 due to A\C not coming on. Tech told me my blower was out and rusting, creating a dangerous situation. Went on to say I needed a whole new unit and quoted me a price of $9400. Called another company and they replaced a capacitor, checked my unit saying it was fine and charged me $150. Anderson Air from whom I purchased a service checkup, came out One year later, 10/4/24 and checked unit in attic and said it was working great. No issues. Obviously first employee who works on a commission I understand is both a liar and con man and a year later is still representing this company. Beware. read more

Having decided to replace our 20 year old AC/Heat unit we called the 3 best reviewed companies in our area that were not less than 15 years in business. Anderson was the second company who came out and the company we ultimately chose. Why? Excellent reputation. Excellent product offered. Not pushy at all. Honest. No questions left unanswered. Mr Anderson was VERY knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful. He has our thanks for his time and for selling us our Amana AC and compatible heat unit. Work was done when promised within the time frame given. The installation crew was efficient, polite, respectful of us and our property, nice and cleaned up after themselves completely. The crew supervisor was by in the middle and again at the end of the install making sure all was going well. He went over everything with us and educated us on our new thermostat. All 3 men have our appreciation for making what could have been a stressful day an easy going one. Since install on 7/18/2023 our house has been a consistent 76 degrees as us set on the thermometer. Looking on our electric company web site (comparing the same temperature days before and after installation) we have a MUCH lower kWh usage with no other changes in our daily electric usage. Super fast, efficient, personable and reasonable! Everything you could possibly want for a partner like this. They have be nothing but transparent and upfront with my AC unit and issues. They were great at diagnosing problems and even telling me where I didn't need to buy more services. Thee serviced my two AC systems and replaced the second one and were total pro's about it! Guy quoted me nearly $2,000 to do a repair. I sought a second opinion and this other company came out and fixed the issue for $50. On my other unit, Anderson quoted me nearly twice as much for the same unit as the second people I called. And tried to act like I needed to replace both. Guy acted like I needed to hurry up and commit because they were filling time slots up fast! They're just salesmen disguised as repairmen. Always gonna find a major repair that has to be done and then try to convince you to replace if it's out of warrantee, and you better do it now or you'll be hot. They'll take you for all they think they can get out of you. read more

If you need anything with HVAC (air condioning or furnaces), these are great people to use. The girl who answers the phone is amazing. She doesn't rush you and is very kind. The technicians are very knowledgeable and take the time to explain what is wrong and how to maintain the unit in the future. Even billing is kind and helpful. I see why people keep recommending them. They really are a family business that cares and treats customers like people, not just another number. Called to have someone ck out AC unit...Lady said tech would call when on the way. Never heard anything back from the company. Started calling late afternoon to see if they were still coming. Phone rang and rang, no answer, no answering service. Finally gave up at 6 pm. I have asthma and spent one of the worst nights of my life waiting for my ac to be checked. Will not call them again, make sure you are not confusing this company with "Bud Anderson" definately not the same company and horrible customer service...... read more
