I called and had a lengthy conversation with their administrator, AnnaBelle about their whitening application method. I scheduled an appointment at that time for whitening on December 30th, 2022. I arrived for the treatment which was performed by AnnaBelle (also the office manager). The procedure takes 2 hours and is 3 or 4 15-minute applications depending on desired whiteness and/or gum tolerance. Some people have sensitive gums and are not able to complete 3-4 applications. After I successfully completed 3 applications, AnnaBelle suggested that she felt I reached maximum whiteness and if it were her, she would not do the 4th. I took her advice and moved on to having impressions made for whitening trays that would be ready for me in 1 week. I was leaving on January 11th for 4 weeks in Arizona and the trays were not ready to pick up before I left. I had my husband go in a week later to pick up the trays; however, they said they would not release the trays unless I was there. Just after I returned from Arizona on February 11th, I went to pick up the trays. I had to see a dentist (Dr Ibrahim). I told her and AnnaBelle who also sat in on our conversation that I was very displeased with the (lack of) whitening. The color change was no different than when I've used Crest strips or the $99 whitening trays from another dentist. They argued every point with me and discounted everything I had to say. The Dr was rude and made up every story she could to try and justify that she was right. She told me my tooth composition would not allow me to experience true whiteness because of some far-fetched excuse I've never heard. My question is, why didn't she tell me this BEFORE I had the application? The Dr also suggested I was many shades whiter than when I started; however, they could not provide pictures of the before and after. They didn't have a before saved in their computer. Dr also said if I had my teeth cleaned before the whitening, I may have had better results. My last cleaning was 1 month before the whitening with the BEST DENTIST, Dr Hoppe in Deerfield. Even so, why wasn't I told this before the treatment? After many rounds of me refuting/disproving ALL of the doctor's statements, AnnaBelle finally offered to refund my $499. She said she could not refund back to my original form of payment (credit card), but would instead have to have their accounting department issue a bank check which could take up to 30 days to receive. I was satisfied with that. After over 6 weeks passed, I called the office 3 times as I had not received the check, nor heard from the company. The first call I left a message. No call back. I called again and talked to AnnaBelle. She said my account was still in "pending" mode which meant the refund was not approved by their accounting department as yet (6+ weeks later). She said she would contact accounting and get back to me. I did not hear back so I called again. She said she hadn't received a response to her email inquiry and said she doesn't have a number to contact them by phone. I was still in pending mode which meant accounting hadn't even addressed the issue 6+ weeks later. AnnaBelle said she would try again and would get back to me. I asked AnnaBelle why, if you offered a refund, would accounting have to provide further approval? She said just because she offered the refund doesn't mean that I'm going to get it. I have written this review in hopes I can potentially save anyone from experiencing the same results and poor service from MyHealth Dentistry. I highly recommend you research other options.

We have bounced around at various local pediatric dentists but found the bedside manner to be rushed and rude and an atmosphere that resembled an assembly line of getting as many kids in and out as possible as fast as possible. Finally we were referred to Dr.Hruskocy and her amazing staff! The vibe as soon as we walked in was welcoming, calm, and professional. Every staff member was friendly and knowledgeable and both of my kids (one with anxiety) walked out saying how much better their experiences were and 'let's never go back to the other places again'! My reason for the one star is for their deceptive and apparent unnecessary add ons to procedures. I was told repeatedly that I had two crowns that needed to be changed. When I called to confirm my appointment, I was told that I was having an additional crown done at an additional $590 out of pocket cost to me. When I confronted Dr Ballis, I was told that maybe because of COVID masking, that I misunderstood. This is deceptive and a grab at additional costs at the expense of the insurance company and patients. Make sure you get everything in writing when you go to this practice. If you don't, you will find additional procedures and costs added to your file.

They did wonderfully (a completely surprise to me) and haven't had a problem going back. Yeah Laurie, the technician, and Dr. Ballis! The office looks unassuming from outside. But when you enter there is a grand staircase and lovely decor that greets you. This building hosts other offices as well. Dr. Ballis' office is soothing, with calming classical music playing in the background. (Admit it. Your dentist plays old 60s or 70s stuff. Right?) My husband has made the switch and we all have been very happy with the services Dr. Ballis does. Fortunately, the only tooth extraction experience I had previously was the removal of 2 upper teeth in my teens for the purposes of braces. As well, I have no cavities, so I have only experienced a dentist for routine cleanings. This was my first time visiting with an oral surgeon. However, after a recent visit my normal dentist office it became clear that it would be beneficial for me to remove my bottom right wisdom tooth given that it was crooked and covered by a flap of gum which made cleaning difficult and was becoming problematic. I had no pain. However, we determined that it was a good idea to be proactive especially since I was not longer a "teenager" or in my 20's and the risk for problems would only increase with time. Upon entering Dr. Steinberg's office I was somewhat nervous about the idea of taking out a wisdom tooth given all of the horror stories I read online. Apart from the fact that Dr. Steinberg is an MD as well as a DDS, he is thorough, compassionate and highly competent. He and his team took the time to answer my numerous questions and to make sure I was aware of all my options and risks. Dr. Steinberg first inspected my mouth, then using the newest technology available took a full mouth 3D X-ray to get the complete picture. I had a previous X-ray from my regular dentist. However, it was not a clear and Dr. Steinberg's office took another one at not cost. Again, he then took the time to explain my options. In the end, he extracted my wisdom tooth and any potential infection in the area was scrapped to avoid future problems. I was little anxious about the procedure and concerned with the post surgery pain that others had warned me of in their experience. As it turned out, the procedure was a success. I had zero pain during the procedure and Dr. Steinberg communicated with me throughout the process, so I knew what to expect along the way. In fact, the pain from the procedure more or less subsided after the first 16 hours. He had advised me that I would experience pain and discomfort for the next 36 hours, but it has not lasted that long. Dr. Steinberg provided me with a prescription for Norco, but I only needed to take it once 4 hours after the procedure and since then I have only needed ibuprofen twice which I have mainly used to aid with the inflammation. Ice really helped alot. The next day the office called me to check on my progress. I was touched that they took the time as these days you mainly only get office appointment reminders. A couple days later, I had questions and when I called his office, his team answered all my questions. If you require dental care that may be more complex, Dr. Steinberg is your guy. I strongly recommend this practice without hesitation!
