I called to get an estimate for the repair of a small water leak in the bathroom exhaust fan. I got an appointment within a few days. The receptionist even returned my call later the same day thinking it was missed. Very thorough and efficient of her! Joe Esarey came out and spoke with my husband about repair options that we could do ourselves to save money. He was very thorough, helpful and courteous. I really appreciated his experience and honesty. He spent about an hour with my husband, gave him a tube of caulk and didn't even charge for the visit. They do not stand behind the quality of their workmanship. I had them replace my roof due to it leaking (in the front of the house), the first time we had sustained heavy rain after the installation a huge leak stain appeared in the back of the home. I asked them to come out and inspect it and they refused bc I had a small remaining balance I was making payments towards. They are holding my warranty hostage and are threatening a lien when in my opinion, they owe me what I paid for first (a roof that doesn't leak). They conveniently forget telling me I could make payments and even tho they start out seeming very nice to work with, turn to taking a nasty tone quickly. I would not recommend working with them. I'm somewhat shocked at the high review scores they have other places and will be sure to share my experience there as well. I have also notified GAF of my experience and have requested their bond information more than once in case I have to pursue remedy that way. read more

After receiving a quote via email we got a follow-up text a few days later. Overall, it was a good customer service experience. This company has screwed us. During a rain storm we noticed water dripping into our house, so we called Andes. They came over very quickly (I will definitely give them props for their quick reaction) and placed a temporary tent on the leaky part. When rain ended, they came back and said, with certainty, that we definitely needed a new roof because the storm had caused holes and leaks. Naturally, we call the insurance company (bc this is exactly why we have insurance) who scheduled an appointment for assessment. We let Andes know so they could review with the claims adjuster (per their suggestion). However, Andes didn't show when the adjuster came. The insurance company did not share the same view as Andes. In fact, their assessment was for a couple small roof repairs and drywall fixes for a total of $1300. Andes, trying to dig their heels in, said they would work with the adjuster: meet with him at the house to advocate, send more pics, etc. However, this proved fruitless as the adjuster (who was very responsive and honest to work with while looking for any angle to approve a new roof- including possible code issues) was unable to come close to approving what Andes was recommending. After seemingly exhausting the possibility of receiving a new roof, we asked Andes for a quote to repair the roof. They quoted $3300 for a couple shingle repairs and a "boot replacement" (not even including drywall- as the insurance quote of less than half this included)!!!! Obviously they have zero interest in the repair work and were only interested in the big ticket cost of a new roof. In doing this, they have screwed our insurance costs since we filed a claim after they lead us to believe that we needed a new roof following this storm. Andes seems to have a lot of good reviews, but as far as we are concerned, they are terrible to work with and not an honest company. I do NOT recommend!!! read more

Andes Roofing did a fantastic job on my home. I was given 3 fantastic options and I found the one that fit my needs perfectly! They offered me a great product and phenomenal warranties to back it. As long as we don't have any major storms, I won't have to touch my roof for decades. 2 gaint billboardz in our area, We fell for their line, "You deserve the best." Was this the best they could do? Guaranteed that they would have their workers cover all the work area with tarps or nets to capture the debis , then we were told that the crew would be out by 8 a.m., called again around 11, then it was,they're on their way. They didn't show up until 2:30 in the afternoon. Then only worked afew hours. There was nothing set up to catch the derbies. They were working in the dark. Long story short, we were told the sales person was going to personally bring us a $100 gift card. For all our problems and the 2 nails in our car tires and had to have repaired. All I can say is i was very dissatisfied. read more

Absolutely terrible service from this company. They only subcontract work out. I contracted Andes to replace roof at my home with the understanding that all wavy plywood would be replaced with a quality job. Most homeowners do not get up on roof to inspect work. I did, wow what a joke. There is problems over the entire roof, bottom of shingles buckled up. Not correctly nailed down. Also did not replace any of the wavy sheets of plywood. By the way Andes is buying Google reviews. Owner is only worried about money not interest in performing a quality job. Want to know more email me. They were on time for an estimate, the work crews did an excellent job of all aspects of the tear of and replace and the cleaned up was spot on. The gutter install went with out a hitch. Another company installed gutter leaf protection and messed up the shingles and drip edges and after having that product removed Mr. Andes had his crew come out and repair all the damaged done at no cost to me just because it was the right thing to do. This "5 Star" company came highly recommended by two dear friends. After I relayed our experience to these friends, they have vowed to cease all future recommendations. I shall list our grievances. On October 25, 2021, we signed a contract with Andes Roofing for a new roof replacement. They collected the final payment 59 days later on December 23, 2021.This was when our host of issues were finally addressed to their satisfaction. I will now list our grievances. The agreed upon negotiated price for wood sheet replacements (if needed) was not included on our written contract by our salesman, William. When the invoice did not reflect this, I called the office and spoke with Christy, the Office Manager. She told me that William was not within policy to negotiate wood pricing with me and reluctantly granted the agreed upon pricing. She apologized. Secondly, during the roof installation, the roofers (without our permission) parked one van, one pick-up truck and one trailer of heavy roofing materials on our wet front lawn (and partially on my neighbor's lawn) for the entire day. Luckily there was no damage to our lawn or the lawn belonging to my neighbor. I called Christy once again. I emailed photos of the equipment on my lawn. Again, Christy says that this is against policy and offers me another apology. Thirdly, the roofers damaged our satellite, and reinstalled the mounting brackets and wires incorrectly. This led to five days with no cable, one email exchange and three long phone calls while on hold to DIRECTV. The technician arrived on the fifth day and spent almost two hours installing all new equipment. I was able to negotiate with DIRECTV and purchase an $8.99 service agreement to waive the $99 installation fee. I felt that DIRECTV offered excellent customer service- as this was a problem that was no fault of their own. Again, another apology from Andes Roofing. Finally, the GAF warranty was sent to us with the wrong address, city and state. This led to another call to Christy and an email to GAF from myself to correct the problem. This problem was corrected in two days and ultimately was not such a big deal; and I did get a fourth apology from Christy. I am just noting this because you would think that a "5 star" company would at least know the city and state of their customer. Throughout this 59 day process, I found that I had spent a large portion of my time and effort correcting problems created by Andes Roofing. And by this I mean close to a dozen emails, over a dozen phone calls, taking off from work to wait for the roofers ( who made 3 trips to our house), taking off from work to wait 4 hours for the DIRECTV technician and another hour and half for the installation. To remedy our time and trouble, we were offered a fifth apology from Andes Roofing (this time in person by the owner, Ethan), an insulting $100 deduction from our $8,185 bill, and a "gift box" full of novelty souvenirs all embossed with their company logo. These items were quickly discarded as we have no desire to advertise for this company. I feel like this company is not equipped to handle real issues with their customers when things so wrong- and they went VERY wrong with us. We should have been offered a substantial discount for our time and trouble, but we were not. The roof does look nice. I am hopeful that it was installed correctly. But this series of haphazardly events leave me unsure. And although the employees were all were very apologetic and courteous, they seemed to address our concerns in a pretentious and self-serving manner. Andes Roofing has a very strong interest in self-promotion and a low interest in resolving their self-created problems fairly and timely. And for these above reasons, we do not recommend. read more
