We came here while we were waiting for my phone to be fixed right next door (highly recommend!) There is parking behind the building. The place is adorable and has a fun vibe. There are so many wonderful flavors to choose from. Many of them were delicious and would have been a good choice, but we ended up with the Texas pecan (filled with small pieces of pecan for extra crunch) and coconut. Both had a great texture and full of flavor. It also came with a piece of waffle cone which had the perfect amount of slight sweetness. This place was great and especially a good reason to get some gelato while waiting on a phone to be fixed!

Glad I finally tried this place out! The place itself is fairly small, with a few options for indoor seating. The service itself was friendly and quick. Upon entering you are greeted by the maaaany delicious looking flavors and the smell of freshly made cones! I ordered a small with two flavors, Texas pecan and pistachio. Both flavors were super rich and delicious! I'd get both again but liked pistachio the most. It also came with a tiny waffle cone thing that was just made and perfect. Recommend trying this place out if you're looking for dessert!

This spot is a hidden gem! The gelatos tasted fresh and had great flavor. I loved the stracciatella, coconut and mango. I wasn't a big fan of the gummy bear and Texas pecan, but to each their own. Also, they have 20% off for veterans!

What a Gem The gelato here is absolutely amazing! Artisan indeed, there were so many yummy flavors to choose from, it was hard to pick. My favorite by far was the Limoncello so smooth, refreshing, and perfectly citrusy. It hit the spot, especially in this Texas heat! The vibes were great too. The woman who helped me was so sweet and patient, and she really made the experience even better by helping me narrow down on my choices, I even got to sample a few. I'm so glad I found this place its tucked into one of my favorite shopping centers, and now that I know it's here, I'll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you're looking for a treat that's both delicious and a little special in sunset valley!

I was in the mood for a sweet treat and this tiramisu gelato did not disappoint! It took a little bit to get served. Right after I put my order in a swarm of people came to order, but it was worth the wait and the young lady behind the counter was very nice!

The service was so friendly and they were so quick to move the line along. I got the mango and pistachio flavor and it's delicious!

The dessert was amazing , it was very sweet but not overdone, the fruit added a really great taste . The worker there was alone so I understood the wait but he was friendly. The menu had a lot of options and it was very easy to order.

This ice cream shop is amazing! They let you try as many flavors as you want so that you make choose the one you like the most. They all look so delicious, and they have so many options available. They have cones, waffle bowls, or served in a simple cup as well. The ice cream shop is located inside the Barton Creek Square mall by the food court.

I know many Austinites have an undying loyalty to a local ice cream chain but it simply does not compare to Gelato Paradiso (unless you're my husband and can't get enough of Mexican vanilla). The pistachio gelato is intensely nutty, perfectly smooth, and easily my favorite. The raspberry is a close second - packed with fruity flavor and the texture is somehow thick n creamy despite being a sorbet. It'll be hard for me to peel away from these two options, but samples of the dark chocolate and salted caramel were also so good. Ask for two flavors if you can't decide, the servers are happy to help. Not a ton of seating/standing options but there are benches right outside. Love the little window that lets us peek into the kitchen where the magic is made. Shoutout Baldinucci Pizza Romana forever and ever for introducing me to the wonderful Gelato Paradiso! Will be back for lots more this summer!

Super creamy and they had so many flavor options. I got the chocolate and strawberry dairy free. My husband got vanilla and our nephew got cookies and cream. They all loved theirs. I got the small and it was still such a good portion. However they didn't offer us to sign up for rewards and we spend over $30 on ice cream. They said they couldn't use that purchase towards points so that was a bummer. Otherwise a great time and will be back! It's so delish.

I purchased a non-dairy lemon and strawberry gelato (two of four dairy-free options). The gelato was refreshing and tasty simultaneously. Gelatoro features house-made gelato with rotating flavors and fan favorites including chocolate, blueberry chip, and strawberry. Their coffee and espresso options offerings may also include affogatos for a sugar rush. Bakery treats include cookies, bars and candy treats including Dubai chocolate. The cashier was very friendly offering me several samples needed for me to make my final selection. There is a small amount of free parking available to customers for Gelatoro. In addition, the gelato is reasonably priced. In general, gelato is better for you than ice cream and more dense. A nice treat for a sizzling hot day in Austin, TX...

Our server was fast and attentive, and I had no complaints about the service itself. We ordered the fried cheese ravioli, cacio e pepe, and bucatini all'amatriciana. The fried cheese ravioli was crispy, but otherwise pretty generic and didn't have much flavor. The cacio e pepe was creamy, and the tableside presentation of mixing it in the large cheese wheel was definitely a cool, but the actual pasta was incredibly bland. The bucatini was the same way: perfectly edible, but just remarkably bland. That was the biggest disappointment for me. The restaurant clearly puts a lot of effort into creating a trendy, fun atmosphere and making the food feel like an experience, but none of that really matters if the food itself doesn't have much flavor, like at all. The portions were average and would definitely fill you up, so I don't have an issue with the quantity. The problem was the value. We paid around $80 for an appetizer and two pasta dishes, including tip, and didn't order any drinks. At that price point, I expected considerably better. Both pasta dishes tasted closer to a mediocre frozen TV dinner than what I'd expect from freshly prepared Italian food at this price. The water also had a strange smell and taste, almost like old dishwater. I have no idea what caused it, but it was noticeable. It was also extremely hot inside. I understand that it's Texas and it was triple digits outside, but the restaurant honestly felt hotter than outside at times. It was somewhat loud too, but it's a small space, so I don't really fault them for that. Overall, the service was great, but the food simply wasn't worth the price. They do a good job making the restaurant feel trendy and fun, but for me, the actual food didn't live up to the presentation. I'd rather spend the same money at a hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant where the food has real flavor. I wouldn't go back.

They're in an open gravel lot with plenty of parking and some wooden picnic tables where you can sit and eat. I had the chocolate jasmine flavor and the lychee raspberry as half scoops in a size medium (the minimum size where you can get half scoops). The chocolate was honestly a little weird with the jasmine in my opinion (I would have preferred regular vanilla jasmine, but was interesting to try). That said, the lychee raspberry is a knock out of the park -- absolutely LOVED it! It's the perfect combo of sweet from the lychee with just a bit of tang from the raspberry, and the chunks of lychee in it are absolutely delicious. It was like $8 including tax for the medium so it's not cheap, but it's a good sized cup. They also sell larger sizes (like by the pint I think), and chocolate with interesting flavors that is award-winning, so lots to try! The lady working there seemed hot/tired that day, but she was nice. The ambiance outside is also nice, as long as it's not too hot, since those picnic tables can end up being directly in the sun depending on the time of day and it is HOT. There is a tree there though that sometimes provides shade.

From the first bite we were in heaven. The flavor is very thorough which is not always the case for Italian ices where it can sometimes be a bit muted. Every single bite of this was packed with flavor. They also carve out a bit of the middle to put the condensed milk which makes every bite much more equal than if it was just placed at the top.
