orange ice cream with nerds and gummy bears!!
    Marcus J.

Doing soft serve ice cream like nobody ever before!! It is really clean in here, seems to be a hang out spot for teens ! it's low carb and you get to customize it however you'd like. The Reese's Pieces one was bomb, and the Mango Ice Cream with Nerds & Gummies blew the whole building up. The team makes the build-your-own process easy and fun. This spot is fire and we will definitely be back.

So glad I found D'Lites! A low-sugar, low-carb, low-calorie ice cream shop with new flavors daily. The best part: only 50 calories per serving! The place was bright, clean, and super inviting. Ava helped us on our first visit and was amazing. She explained the macros, gave great recs, and was so friendly. I got the Peanut Butter Brownie with sugar-free hot fudge, my husband got Crème Brûlée, and both were delicious and totally hit the spot. Prices are reasonable too! We go to the gym down the street, so this is officially our guilt-free treat stop.

Right off the bat when I walked in I was greeted. They explained to me about their sizing and flavors and were friendly. I asked to sample but they do not. Which I understand might get expensive for them but it sure would be nice to try before you commit to a flavor. After the first bite, I was impressed! They advertise low sugar and calories so I wasn't sure if it would have a weird after taste. But I am so glad I gave it a try bc it tastes JUST like regular ice cream. Cannot tell the difference. I got vanilla, chocolate and death by chocolate. All 3 were fresh and tasted exactly how described. I will definitely be back and recommend. And the plus is there is no guilt involved bc their smallest cup which fit all 3 flavors was only 50 calories!

Very friendly staff and amazed at all the healthy options outside of just ice cream. Definitely didn't feel full after which was great. Staff was very friendly in explaining it all. Not much to sit inside but it's quick grab and go. There are some seats but it's worth it to go and try. I bought some products to try before buying more. I'll be back many times

I have been wanting to try D'Lites for awhile and I'm glad I finally did! I really hope they open more locations (specifically in central Austin) because I would come here so often if it wasn't so far away. Even though the ice cream is low calorie and low sugar it was still very yummy! I was also surprised by how reasonably priced their ice cream was. Definitely recommend!!

To all those diabetic, keto, GF, low-carb folks who DREAM of ice cream... this is your oasis. It's hard to find options and if you do, it's usually just one. This place was like my wonderland. Not just frozen treats, but a wall of fantastical snacks, treats and more. Clean and bright with a cheery crew to make recommendations and guide me through my order. Flavors change daily, but are posted weekly. Come explore!

Decent ice cream, can't beat the price and the calories! Will be back to try more! Wish there was more seating inside and out. Workers were nice for the most part, though I feel like maybe the only "sass" just came from them being really young and I'm older I don't take it personally

I stopped by because I wanted to grab some ice cream. The ice cream is low carb and is only 50 calories a serving with no added sugar. I got the cotton candy flavor and you could taste the lack of sugar. I added sprinkles and lucky charms marshmallows which I enjoyed. The staff was very helpful when I was picking the flavor. We sat outside because the weather was nice but as I was finishing my ice cream it started getting hotter and hotter. I probably won't be back, but that shouldn't stop anyone else from going. It just wasn't my cup of tea.

Stopped in last night and first time visiting. Overall, great things to say! The line was long but it moved quickly. I like that they rotate out flavors and have a good amount of topics to choose from. It's not self serve like most fro-yo places. I think it was 75 calories for a small. Great place to go if you are craving dessert but don't want all the sugar. The flavor doesn't hit you in mouth but you can taste it, but I think that's the give for a lower calorie option.

Caramel soft serve with pb chips

I stopped in here after a session at Perspire Sauna next door, and it was such a refreshing treat after some infared heat! I got a caramel soft serve (apparently and insanely low amount of calories per ounce, not sure how accurate that is lol) and topped it with peanut butter chips. I loved the thick texture of the soft serve and of course anything peanut butter kicks up the flavor profile 100x. It would be cool if they had more unique flavors in daily rotation. I feel like the day I went, only basic flavors were being offered lol.

    Yum!!

Are there vegan options here? If so what flavors?

Yes, they carry Nada Moo and have at least 6 or more flavors I believe.

"I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"...so the saying goes. I decided to meet a friend that lives downtown Austin for some ice cream at the The Baked Bear, a frequent hang out spot for her and my first visit. The Baked Bear is located in the Seaholm complex between Cesar Chavez and 3rd Streets near West Avenue. After a couple of samples, I decided on Blackberry Crumble. Our server was so sweet and kind including suggesting some of the shop's favorites. OMG the ice cream was so smooth...so flavorful...so absolutely delicious to eat. Interestingly, the ice cream was reasonably priced. It was great cooling off and enjoying catching up with my friend.

I prefer the mini but they're sold out a lot which shows you how spectacular this place is. My go to is the nutty valentine. The donut is always warm, fresh, and crispy. When we went our choices were $9-$10 donut base desserts. I say base because the toppings cover up the donut visually. Despite that, there's no covering that scrumptious taste and texture. Wowaweea. Yes, you feel your cells expand and pants tighten and it is for sure run club pre and post, but quite worth it. These divine donuts have that cakey interior I love so much. We had the Puddin': cream cheese icing, vanilla pudding, fresh bananas with nilla wafers. According to the menu. Ours didn't have any nilla wafers and the presentation was uneven, hence the four stars. I didn't miss the wafers. The icing and pudding were one goopy topping and the bananas slices were half scattered slices and half banana chunk that I had to separate. Side notes: Gourdough sits on a corner with parking spots that are not free. There's a pay via QR code so you'll need a phone or something to scan that. Boo for digital shackles. Next note- I feel like this is a low key meet up spot. Like the way they tried to make the first train cars on the MTA the singles car? There was a series of singles getting doughnuts and they were a little done up for the occasion. Who knows. With the little IG ready love seats and doughnuts made for sharing, you could walk away with extra sugar.

Even so, the ambience seems like the decorations were cute, but very cheap and damaged overtime with little to no repairs. But I didn't come here for aesthetics. I came here for great Boba tea and sweet treats. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. What looked like a traditional milk toast dessert, was literally four pieces of stale bread, toasted and stacked on top of each other. that tasted freezer burnt with lots of sauce on top. No topping between each layer so it was not flavorful or tasty and all you could taste was a weird chemical flavor from the bread. Same thing with the ice cream, so freezer burnt that it tasted of chemicals, cardboard, and didn't even melt despite sitting on the plate for 15+ minutes. The Taro tea itself was fine with the crème brûlée topping, but the brown sugar Boba had the same chemical "going bad" flavor to it. It was super hard and bitter tasting instead of sweet. The soufflé pancakes were fine, but the ice cream was terrible on that too. It's hard to mess up Ice Cream, but somehow they managed.

The cheesecake shop is located on N. Lamar in Crescent Plaza and focuses on takeout rather than dine-in service. I ordered their signature Japanese cheesecake, and it was delicious.
