But they do have sales and sale prices are good. If you have shopper card, there are discounts. The vegetables looked fresh. I picked up what I needed. They had a great selection of funny greeting cards, I picked up a couple. I didn't get bread because I would have had to take out a loan. Check out is easy and clerks were friendly. Parking is tight as there are a bunch of stores in the same strip mall. I did find fairly close parking.

The other issue was I asked two employees for galangal and neither spoke English so they got someone from the back who I asked and he took me to mangos. When I showed him the word "Galangal" on my phone, he said no. After trying the HMart down the street and comparing it to how disorganized, messy, cramped, and the poor service here, I'm done with this place.

The bonus was I had a hard time finding taco shells of all things. As I stood in the middle of aisle 8 and asked a gentleman who was stocking the shelf if he worked there her responded no but he does so I turn around and the other gentleman stops and says how can I help you ma'am. I advised I was looking for taco shells and it was like he was in unison with the music as he replied aisle 16. Taco shells in hand, made my way to the checkout and was on my way. Their presence felt excessive and intimidating, especially since I was with my young son and had already paid for the item. Mark said security footage showed me purchasing the item and placing it in a bag. I explained that I knew it was on my receipt but did not have it with me. When I asked about the footage, I received confusing and contradictory explanations. Another employee then joined the conversation, making me uncomfortable enough to leave. I was simply seeking help with a misplaced, paid-for item. I felt embarrassed, intimidated, and treated as though I had done something wrong. Please review this incident and the conduct of the employees involved. I would appreciate an explanation and hope Walmart will improve how similar situations are handled.
