We go here every year to celebrate with gaming friends. The food is absolutely great and I am told authentic. I've tried just about everything over the years and never had a bad bite. Service at the counter is fast and everything is clean. There are always people coming and going for carry out and always taking big bags with them. Looks like they do a nice catering size business on platters too. Recommend without hesitation and will be back. I would go more often but have to drive over an hour to get there. read more

We wanted to bring lumpia for a frendsgiving and made an order for pick up at a certain time. I feel like any establishment that has a set pick-up time should know that it's both the customer and seller's responsibility to adhere to said time. However, we came to pick up right on the dot but still had to wait 15 minutes for our order. When my husband spoke to the lady at the front, it seemed as if it was the first time she heard there was a large order of lumpia that needed to be prepared. I've had food from here a few times and love the lumpia. It's cooked fresh and has the perfect amount of crunch. Very tasty with the sweet and sour sauce they provide. They also have a lot of food items from the Philippines so you can def grab some stuff here outside of the freshly made food. Back in Manassas after five years so I had to give this place a try again. My pregnant self is constantly craving Filipino food and this place hits the spot every time. I heard there was a change in management over the years and the quality of food and the friendliness of the staff seem to prove that. My husband and I usually order their two-entree plates and it comes to about $30 dollars (it could be less than that but we always find snacks and other side dishes to try). Too oily.. if you see my photos, you can see how the oily it is on the surface. This Sinigang is an oil soup. I taste no sourness like it should have. The Diniguan is also very oily and unappetizing. Ive been here quite a few times and has always been a hit or miss. I'm not sure what happened to to their food quality, but this just isn't it. I just threw away my $10 meal and I absolutely HATE wasting. I really tried to eat it - I really couldn't though. Tried this place out because I had never really had Filipino food before. Not gonna lie. It's a hole in the wall but it seems legit. For lunch in this area, you get 2 choices from the buffet bar and some rice for $9.50. It's actually a lot of food. I got lechon kawali and adobo chicken. The chicken looked like it had been simmering for hours already. Super juicy and full of flavor. Meat just fell off the bone. The lechon kawali was a bit cold so it wasn't fresh. They give you a dipping sauce for it which was good. It was still super crunchy and I couldn't stop eating it. I'll be back to try out some of the other dishes. This review is based on the lumpia, chicken pancit, chicken adobo, liempo, crispy sisig, and customer service. My party and I loved the pancit, liempo, and crispy sisig the most. I've never had crispy sisig until today, and I loved it. It was savory, juicy/fatty, and true to its name... crispy. I hate when some places have "crispy" in the name of their dish but don't make their dish truly crispy. This place met our expectations on that front lol. The sisig I'm used to is typically served sizzling and oily/juicy/wet, so this version was an interesting surprise. The chicken pancit was done the typical way, so of course it was good. The liempo reminds me of pork belly, Korean bbq style. For some reason, I had never ordered liempo until today. I instantly regretted that I hadn't been eating liempo this whole time. I usually order sinigang, kare kare, adobo, pinakbet, etc. from Filipino places and never bothered with liempo because I never saw it in the turo turo options. Now, I'm all about it, thanks to this place lol. The chicken adobo was enjoyed by my party for the most part. One person is new to Filipino cuisine so he wasn't used to the "many flavors" of it, but he thought it was okay. We also ordered three dozen lumpias. The way they serve the lumpia is different than what I'm used to. They cut up the lumpias into bite sizes, and a dozen of those makes one order. They were a nice appetizer as we waited for our trays of food to come out. The customer service was great. They're nice folk in person, on the phone, and on Facebook Messenger. I'd go back just for them. Lastly, my lesson learned: if you're going to bring a party here and order food ahead of time, try sticking to half trays of food rather than full trays if your party is 10 or fewer. We had sooo many food left over as you can see in the photos! Lol. We each ended up taking a to-go box and a large plastic container (for the adobo) home. Vegetable lumpia was a big disappointment! It had sweet potato in it and was mushy inside instead of crunchy. When we got home and opened the container of lumpia it was black and burnt. Inedible! I love going to Pinoy Market & Cafe for homecooked Filipino food and grocery items. My favorite dishes to order are Kare-Kare, Sisig, and Monggo. They also have Filipino desserts like sago gulaman, leche flan, and turon. Molo and batchoy are sometimes available during weekends too! I have heard about this place so I checked it out. There are some small aisles of food to get but in the back is the main food which is cooked to order. I got pancit and lumpia. The pancit is the best I have had that was not homecooked and it is enough to feed two people. The lumpia, which came with 6, had great seasoning and was so good. Love coming to this place with my fellow Filipinas. It's a restaurant coupled with a Supermarket. We tried their tinola, bopis, menudo and molo soup. Honestly, the molo was everyone's favorite. The menudo and the bopis kind of tasted the same. I wish the bopis was spicy - seemed to be missing something but passable. I do love their tinola and wouldn't mind just getting that next time. The dining area was clean and had plenty of space for other patrons even during lunch. Their staff were so nice and attentive. Bonus that they have lots of goodies that you can grab on your way out. This cafe is 40 mins away from my house but I wanted to finally stop by! We always see it when we travel and have never had a chance to try it out. We went a little crazy and ordered a lot of food for just the three of us (2 adults, 1 child). Everything was so delicious! My favorite was the longanisa. I was looking forward to trying Filipino food for the first time. Based on the reviews I decided to check this market out for the hot and fresh ready made foods I heard and read about. Well I should have asked what time to show up for the hot and fresh foods. They had a lot of readymade food at the counter in a buffet style Set up but it's just for the workers to put together our orders. None of it was hot.I didn't see any steam coming from the food pans, just cold,maybe luke warm oily foods. None of it looked good to me but I was already in there so I got lechon (crispy fried pork belly) and siomai dumplings ( pork dumplings) I went after lunchtime so about 1pm. The lechon was fried and cold which I had to wait to get home to heat. I resteamed the siomai dumplings and they were really good. Lots of meat and flavor. I was hesitant to try just because of my concerns with their food temps. I ate it because it was $25. I would not recommend this place to anyone I like or with a weakened immune system. I'm sorry I had to leave this review. I just looked at all the Violations they have and Im surprised the health department hasn't shut them down yet. read more

When this place first open it was GREAT. Since the original owners sold it has gone downhill. Went and had lunch with my wife today. Ordered the combo meal. $9.50. I had sinigang and dinuguan. 1and 1/4 pieces of meat. The dinuguan was nothing great. My wife ordered fried bangus and mongo. The bangus (fried fish) was very rubbery. Probably left over from yesterday. Definitely not going back. And the serving sizes are very small. But they won't do anything about this. read more

The food here is good but what deters me is how pricey it is for the portions. They do have the combo meals that come with rice which is a good value depending on what entrees you get. Their lumpia is really delicious and it always comes out hot! I still come here whenever I have a craving for Filipino food and there's none available at home. Filipino in Manassas...now there's a change of pace. Manassas is quite diverse...the only other Filipino restaurants I've tried were in LA. You walk to the back of the store and find the serving line. The serving dude will explain what each dish is. Lot's of pork dishes, menudo and sausage. You get two of each with rice for about $7 bucks. The menudo was tasty, though it wasn't very warm. The pork was a bit dry as was the rice. I totally agree the new owner especially the lady is so stingy when it comes to the servings. I ordered the combo meal and one was sinigang and literally , she only gave 2 PCs of pork and one was with a lolt of fat on it. And one string beans , a very small piece of eggplant and that's it. So ridiculous ! This happened twice already with the lady owner. I would not recommend this place at all and will go to Pinay Kitchenette in Woodbridge instead even if it would mean a longer drive. At least I get my money's worth. It's ok to be charged $10 plus for combo meal if it's worth it but with Pinoy Cafe , totally not worth it. And food doesn't even taste that good to be honest !
