Its a very necessary process and I enjoy how he will listen to my ideas and discuss with me on how to implement the idea and branch off from it to make a more unique piece. Donna is an amazing hostess, during the tattoo process she checks in, chats with me, and makes sure that I feel comfortable. Its actually thanks to her that I started using the numbing service that they offer due to her suggesting for me to try it once since I've had previous tattoos without it. Peter is also an amazing artist and I've had the pleasure to see the artwork he has made during my own sessions. It took me a very long time to choose the tattoo artist for a Reiki symbol that had great…read moresignificance for me since it was also linked to my sister's diagnosis of cancer. When I met with Isaiah, I explained the spiritual significance of the symbol and how the lines had to be created just as the drawing I provided with arrows for the exact direction the ink pen should go and numbers for the order of the lines. There were two problems. After telling me I would be charged $100, I was charged $150 because he went over the hour by a few minutes. 2) He made a mistake and left one of the small lines out. When I informed him via text, we made an appointment to add the line. In his text, he never apologized and, in fact, told me that he would not charge me for adding the small line. When I met with him I expressed my disappointment and mentioned that this was a spiritual piece. He gave me a lecture about how this was America and everyone was entitled to their religion, which I have no idea what this had to do with what was going on. I told him that it was a matter of humility and apologizing for one's mistakes. He refused to do that and walked away. Such arrogance and entitlement!!! I regret using him. It was a true mistake that cannot be erased from my arm. But I will have to make peace with my tattoo to honor its significance.
