Not impressed. The antipasto salad was a plate-filling mess of canned olives and artichokes with iceberg lettuce and deli meats. The self-professed "mess" of a waitress could not produce a wine menu, so I ordered what she insisted on calling Pinot "noor" and it was mediocre, but I was ridiculously overcharged for it because it "comes from Italy". I can definitely tell you that the pizza is way better than dominos/ Pizza Hut/ etc. and is reminiscent of New York style pizza. Wonderful home style fresh authentic Italian. Clean with great service. If busy there is potential for things to take a bit longer (according to their menu). I honestly felt like a guest in someone's home. I heard a server talking to her customers about what they do for a living, and then offered to make chocolate milk for another guest. Our server, Stephanie, tells us they make a ton of the menu fresh to order as I heard an older Italian man talking in the kitchen. We get the jalapeño fried ravioli as an appetizer, clams & linguini and stuffed peppers as our meals. The ravs come with marinara and ranch(we got wasabi ranch for an extra kick). YUM!!!! H finished his linguini, but I got to try a bite and it was really good. It had some amazing flavor to it. I had to let mine cool off but let me tell you WHAT. It was worth the wait. Cheesy, beefy, peppery deliciousness! I only had room for one of my peppers, but they were hands down some of the best stuffed peppers I've eaten. To go box, please? There was just no room for dessert this time, though I hear they have a plethora of options. Between the attentiveness of the staff and the taste, I was overwhelmed. I always enjoy their pizza - the closest to a good New York slice as I've found here. The crust and the sliced sausage topping are the real deal. Love the service, it was a packed house after we arrived, everyone flooded in at once. There were mostly large families having dinner, it was nice to hear the staff recognize the regulars as they came in. It was practically empty when we arrived, and were offered seating anywhere we wanted. We had our usual large Margherita pizza with two cheeses, basil & tomatoes. Ordered the cannoli since we heard they import the cream, & if they run out, they don't offer the cannoli until they replenish their supplies. The cream filling was not too sweet, it had chocolate chips, chocolate drizzled on the plate. Great food, reasonable prices. Peroni, pizza & 2 cannoli was about $36 bucks. read more

We have been to Andrea's many times and we will keep coming back. Most of the time it's just my wife and I out for an inexpensive relaxing meal. However, we have also taken our grown children and their significant others. The other day my son told me the the Italian CEO of the company he works for brings everyone to Andrea's when he comes to town. I can understand why. The food is simple and delicious served quickly. They have a great selection of appetizers, pizza, subs, pasta and other Italian dishes. Our favorite is the pizza. The staff goes out of their way to look after you. The place is always crowded however they always seem to be able to seat us almost right away. If your in Yorktown and wanting some great Italian food give Andrea's a try. For one we have never eaten inside and yes the place doesn't look like much but the food is great. People are nice enough, they have pizza that is pretty damn close to Italian pizza. I lived in Italy since I was 12 years old until 17 years old. I know what Italian pizza is and this place has the closest to Italian pizza I can get. I know the place says Italian but you know places that say that and they aren't true Italian places. I love this place they have 20inch pizzas and we always get those. I may not have Eaten inside but I know food is amazing. We tried almost everything on the menu and we like it, but pizza is hands down the best in this area. In our opinion. I've been a fan of Andrea's since 2002. I lived near it for 4 years and still, everytime I get the chance to go back to Virginia, I make the trip to Yorktown to enjoy their pizza. Nice, clean and comfortable restaurant. Surprisingly quiet which helps to enjoy it even more. Thin crust pizza at its best. Usually go for either pepperoni, combination, and their "Pizza di Mare" - probably their best. Last went there on 6/14/2012. Service was great and quick. Generous portion size and if there are any left overs, this is one worthy of boxing and taking home. read more

I downloaded Yelp after my experience here. I needed a whole glass of water to wash down the one piece of bread that I had. I ordered veal because I was craving some beef. Won't go as far as saying this place is a hot mess or bad. It's just extra extra mediocre. The food is alright. Just feels like you could easily make it at home with a can of Preggo and a box of Barilla. I ordered a pasta dish (I can't remember which one) and I was underwhelmed. The marinara sauce was runny and thin, the noodles were cooked properly, and the cheese looked like they took a slice of white american, slapped it on top, and let it melt. My family and friends went to dinner at Andrea's on a Monday night at 6pm (Jun 26, 2017). It wasn't extremely crowded when we arrived, but soon the place was filling up. I don't know if this is something normal, but the service was horrendous. It took an extremely long time for any food to arrive to the table. I had ordered a side salad and it never came. Two members of our party finally received their meals, about 5 minutes after that my daughter received her meal, about 15-20 minutes after that I received my meal and bread was brought to the table (bread that generally comes when beverages do). My husband received his pizza maybe 5 minutes after I got my meal and then the last member of our party was asked "what did you order?" Apparently her order, a 10" cheese pizza didn't go through. The waiting was excessive and the staggered meal delivery is something I have never experienced in my life. I wholeheartedly believe something should have been complimentary, if nothing else the pizza that was forgotten about and brought to table in a box (per our request). Not to mention drink glasses had to be requested to be refilled, and not even scanning the entire table, only the person who asked for a refill. I had heard great things about this restaurant, I had heard the side salads were pretty amazing, but I am highly disappointed in the service we received. My wife's favorite pizza place in our area which makes it my favorite pizza place. It is great and the kids love it. The pizza is fantastic and the salads, appetizers etc. are at least adequate- although some more non-fried variety on the appetizer menu would be welcome. We go about once a month. Atmosphere isn't stuffy but somehow seems more quiet and relaxed than your typical chain restaurant. Service is always good. Our kids love it too.
