He is thorough in his exams, he takes the time to listen, he's not like most doctors out there. He has picked up on issues my primary care doctor overlooked and addressed them. His staff are sweet, you can tell they are hand picked. Things are done quickly, they are organized, efficient, polite, and considerate. If you need a neurologist, he's your pick. Mercenary: Two charges and two copays for a (not at the hospital) visit to see one provider for one service. Maybe its legal, but its certainly morally ambiguous. Poor Training: Unable to schedule follow up visit at time of current visit. Have to call back in a month. More Poor Training: Tried to schedule a different service and was handed a number to call somebody else for an insurance company we don't even have. Then I realized they were looking at somebody else's account. Instead of apologizing and trying to get things straight they just seemed to want to get us out of the office as fast as possible. Saying they would check with our insurance and call us. It's not covered by the insurance I was willing to pay out of pocket, but they never even let it get to that point. My mom needs hearing aids. I'm willing to pay in cash with $100 bills if need be, but Onvida's ENT clinic on Avenue B just wanted to get rid of us. Generally, Dr Patrick Ford is a great provider there, but he could stand to know a little more about the other directly related services within the clinic. I'd give Dr Ford 4 stars, but Onvida as an organization would get just 1. Given that the cost of Onvida (a community non-profit medical organization) is among the most expensive in the country, my experience today taking my mom to see the doctor was very disappointing. I went with my mom today with every intent of doing whatever was necessary to get her hearing aids going, and left feeling like Onvida doesn't want our business at any price. It was pretty terrible.

They will deliver pain with ultra sound and demand they can not read the scans so you need to go to the metal sandwich treatment. They will charge you like it is a third world country and continue to charge more every month even if you are not using the services, especially when you complaint in public. The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
