I was recommended to go to Dr. Goldenberg in Westlake. Since it was down the street and I trusted the person that recommended me, I went. He was GREAT! So professional and trusting. I had my first appointment with Dr. Goldenberg and he did an amazing job. He is very personable and he does very thorough work. I really like how he actually communicates and lets you know what he is doing before he does it. I have been looking for a good gentle dentist in my new area, and read the reviews here and decided to check Dr Goldenberg for dental cleaning, I clean my teeth 4 times a year and its really important to me that my teeth get cleaned thoroughly and not a 20 minute job. when i called to make the appointment I specifically asked how long is a cleaning session and when I was told an hour I knew they do a thorough job, and indeed they did, Dr Goldenberg has done it him self today and was extremely gentle and walked me through the whole process. i'm happy to announce Dr Goldenberg as my new dentist..he is absolutely wonderful. read more

I would be very proud if he were:) I had a cracked tooth and my dentist was not able to see me for over one week! I called Dr. Goldenberg's office and told Keri the situation. She said "of course we will help you." They got me in the next day and Dr. Goldenberg repaired my cracked tooth.. It was painless and the tooth feels perfect! I absolutely hate going to the dentist. I have horrible anxiety and fear. It's so bad that going to the dentist was a whole day thing. The before the visit I'd dread going, then after I'd be so exhausted because I got so worked up before and during the visit. However, I left Dr. Andrew Goldenberg's office smiling. I'm actually looking forward to my next cleaning. The hygienist did everything in her power to make my visit more comfortable. She used tactics normally used for other procedures to make it as comfortable as possible for my incredibly sensitive teeth. Then she wrote down all the stuff she used, so during my next cleaning will be just as easy. Also, Dr.Goldenberg suggested on using some gas just to help me calm down. I have never been so comfortable or so happy with a dentist. I actually left smiling and not because I was leaving. Dr. Andrew is great. First time I went to see him because my crown from prior dentist kept falling out. He fixed it once and it still attached!!!. He is gentle and friendly. He always explains what he's doing and tries to make you feel as less pain as possible. He took time from his busy schedule to call and follow up on what was done from prior day. Let me start by saying that I have always dreaded going to the dentist, like most people. But after my experience with Dr. Goldenberg and his staff I can positively say that I like going to the dentist. Who say's that! It was just pleasant from start to finish. I am so impressed with this dentist that I seriously signed up for a Yelp account so that I could write a review! My former dentist moved far away and I found Andrew Goldenberg DDS with the sole intention of having my teeth cleaned and nothing else. The cleaning was great, the staff was great, and I left VERY HAPPY that I found a great, new dentist! Turns out, my functional medicine doctor later tested me for heavy metals and my mercury was very high. My doctor suggested that I get the last silver filling in my mouth removed during my heavy metal detox. I was nervous about this and I wanted to make sure that things were done correctly so I called Dr. Goldenberg and he took the time to speal with me on the phone, and he described and detailed the entire silver-filling-removal process to me and answered all of my questions. I did have the silver filling replaced by Andrew Goldenberg and I felt in very safe hands and he spoke to me throughout the entire process, describing everything he was doing - it was quick and I did not feel a thing. I am extremely excited that I found this dental office and will be referring everyone I know here. Also...Dr. Goldenberg is an honest dentist - he will not suggest procedures or unnecessary x-rays etc. if they are not needed. *Contrast that with a friend of mine who went to a dentist in the same area recently and that dentist told my friend that they would have to come back every 2 years to get fillings replaced to "keep them fresh"!!! HORRIBLE! In a sea of unethical doctors and dentists..Dr. Goldenberg is a wonderful, trustworthy, competent, professional dentists and also financially reasonable. I have to agree with what all the others have written. I had first gone to Dr. G for regular check up and teeth cleaning not realizing he did cosmetic repairs. So when I chipped 3 of my front teeth, I looked for a "Cosmetic" dentist. I went to another dentist who looked at them and suggested I have overlays. Also stated I grind my teeth and needed a mouth guard. I was a hair away from doing the overlay procedure but in my gut felt that this was not the way to go since my teeth were fine other than the chips which were significant. So at the last minute I got in to see Dr. G as I found out he IS a cosmetic dentist and he stated that my teeth were fine and he could fix them without alot of expense. So long story short. WOW, my front teeth are really beautiful, perfectly done! I was so happy, I was showing everyone. So glad I trusted my gut feeling and went back for a second opinion. After staying with the same dentist for many years and experiencing a tremendous amount of problems one after another, I was referred to Dr. Goldenberg. I am so happy with my decision to switch to him for many reasons. He and his staff are extremely kind and caring people and always take such good care of me. Dr.Goldenberg does not leave me sitting in the waiting room for an hour like other dentists, he stays to his appointment times and is always ready to see me when I arrive. He must take great notes because he remembers to ask about specific family, health, vacations, etc. and things we have discussed in previous visits and it shows that he cares enough about his patients to take that extra step.
