He trains other physicians in this technique and has been performing it longer and more often than anyone else in the U.S., which is exactly why I was willing to fly to New York for it. I could not be happier with that decision. I wanted a very natural result, just a little more fullness up top, and went with 160 cc in both breasts. Dr. Epstein's expertise with Preserve is what sold me. Honestly, the part I was most nervous about was going under anesthesia. Because Preserve is so minimally invasive, I was able to have sedation instead. Dr. Spaliaris, the anesthesiologist, was an angel. She called me the night before to walk me through everything, and by the time I was in the OR I felt completely relaxed and genuinely excited for the procedure to start. That says a lot coming from someone who was terrified. The whole thing was quick. I was in and out in about three hours. I only needed Advil and Tylenol for the first 24 hours, and the discomfort has been very manageable. Best of all, my results are perfect, and I'm only three days out. What I appreciate most is that Dr. Epstein and his entire staff truly listen. They take the time to understand what you want and make sure you're comfortable every step of the way. Jennifer came out and introduced herself, She's very kind caring and seemed very dedicated to her job. She asked myself and my daughter. What outcomes were we looking to achieve? And then she took the time to make us smile, Frown, And grimace, like we're angry so that she could see the un flattering forehead and crowsfeet lines that we were talking about. She was very gentle, She told me that she was gonna use the most minimal amount of botox to make it affordable. That could give me the results that I wanted. Immediately before each injection, She gave us a numbing cream so we wouldn't feel anything and then she asked us to make the Same expressions so that she was able to inject exactly where we wanted the result.. The injections never hurt. Afterwards, we were given really pretty sparkly ice packs that we could take home in case we felt any discomfort, which we didn't!!. We were asked if we would like to come back in two weeks to make sure we had achieved the results we asked for. I was so confident in the way she injected and her professionalism that I knew. I didn't need to make that appointment... It's truly crazy how amazing Botox is... The results make you feel ten years younger. You can smile and take a photo and not feel like you're gonna have old age lines. I know they do a lot of other amazing stuff with fillers. But at this point, I just wanted my lines to go away.. They accomplished that for me without any surgery and without any pain. I'm very grateful. I highly recommend them, so trust them. This team is amazing.. I have a $15 copay. He instructed his staff tell me my copay is $40. I said no it isn't, I always pay $15 no matter where I go for medical reasons. Here's a little background. I was told I have to show him my private documents from EOB from my health insurance holder. Those are private documents and not for him to view if I don't want him to. But he insisted on seeing them and I kept telling him no! Keep in mind Dr Forman is in my plan he must Obeid by the plan's rules/amount of copayment. Or else he is in violation of the terms of the contract with the insurance company he himself agreed to when joining into the plan. When my health Insurance rep called him with me on the phone. She asked him why he is charging me more than my copayment actually is ($15.) Dr Forman's exact words were " would you work for what your plan pays out?" My health insurance rep said, "your legally and contractually bonded to that amount and not allowed to charge more. You're in our network and under contract." We'll he didn't like that, he got nasty fast and hung up in her face. I had to fight with him (figuratively speaking) for two copays that he knowingly and willingly overcharged me for. Of which in time he unwilling paid back to me only because he knew he was caught! red handed. I later came to find I was not the only person he has been doing this too. I have to mention how he unethically, rudely, insultingly and disrespectfully in the company of others be they staff or patients as me. treats his staff. He absolutely is rude and disrespectful.
