It has been over ten years since I went to a destist, due to a reaction from the novacain that pushed my heart to pound as though it would explode. But with one tooth broken and an assortment of troubles with my other teeth I summoned my courage and called Dr. McCormick's office. The receptionist politely began breaking down my resistence with the promise they could and would make my dental work an agreeable experience and without the terrifying pounding heart reaction. There is something called "Epi" in novacaine that provokes the heart to pound and it was a simple matter of leaving "Epi" out of the mixture. When I arrived at the office I must say that Dr. McCormick has a penchant for interior decorating because everything was thought through even to the finite, and collectively offered a colorful attractive and peaceful atmosphere. His staff members were also generous in their welcoming. The exam was thorough like never before and Dr. McCormick was gentle both in his chair-side manner and his hands-on exam. At last, my fears have been laid aside and I walk once again into the dental world, but this time without fear and trepidation, because I know that I am in understanding and capable hands. Good-bye to ten absent years; and hello to Dr. McCormick for the promise of a healthy mouth with pretty white teeth ... and all of that without trauma. read more

Dr. McCormick, or rather "Andy" if you please :) ... has been my only dentist for over 20 years. I have had repeatedly wonderful experiences with Dr. McCormick and his staff over the years. In addition, I have taken all three of my children, from toddlerhood through adulthood, to Dr. McCormick. He stays current with advances in the dental field; considering health, hygiene and aesthetics when performing any procedure. I can't imagine going to any other dentist in Sonoma County. I consider him a complete, experienced professional. Dr. Griffith is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also has a great sense of humor and a fantastic bedside manner. Dr. McCormick is simply one of the best dentists in Santa Rosa. He not only saved me from a root canal but his warm professionlism made each visit a good experience. He has a wonderful dental hygienist, Carolyn. If you've never raved about your hygeniest, now is your opportunity. All of his other staff, especially Genni at the front desk, make you feel welcome and appreciated. I rarely give any medical or otherwise parctitioner a review with 5 stars but my dentist, Dr. Mac, is truly the most efficient, kind, and skilled practicioner I have had, Dentistry is something I feared. He has set me at ease with his patient yet attentive manner, I feel safe in his chair and his practice has a calm, almost zen-like atmosphere. In December 2024, Dr. McCormick provided me s full aet of veneers (both upper and lower). He collaborated with me on the best color and size.
