I write this review with apprehension. Andrew was very professional, knowledgeable, likable, and quoted me an excellent price for my pool re-plaster. His workers were efficient, courteous and clean. The problem began a couple of months after the job was done. My plaster began to change color, scale and became rough to the touch. My pool guy with 30 years experience who re-started the pool was confident he kept up with the chemical process such as ph and alkalinity. I immediately contacted Andrew to tell him about the problem and he did show up promptly. He stated that my pool guy didn't do a good job with the start up, thus the scaling and rough plaster. I proceeded to contact my pool guy and was assured he did everything correctly and that maybe the problem was that the plaster was sub-standard. I had to get a new pool professional to regularly service my pool. A year later, it seems like my pool is getting somewhat rough again and not happy with the look of my pool. I'm not a pool expert so I really do not know who is correct here. They both blamed each other while I was left with a rough scaled pool plaster. First off. We received multiple quotes after doing our research. we have a medium sized pool and spa. Highest quote was 25k. Our research led us to lean towards a price from 10k to 15k depending on what the contractor found. Our tile needed to be done, and we also needed plaster. Andrew, took the time to explain everything, what tile lasted the longest, white plaster vs color vs pebble tec, work schedule and time frame. other contractors, took for ever just for a bid, and or did the bid and walked away without follow up. Andrew's price was fair and he advised us on each step of the process. He always left the area clean, and would come and work when he said he would. Let me tell you--family owned, veteran friendly, customer focused, excellent craftsmanship--there isn't enough words to say to show my appreciation and outright gratitude for the work done by Andy, his three sons and his entire pool crew to transform my aged, epoxy painted pool into a properly plastered, repiped, and freshly tiled heavenly oasis. Two other pool remodeling companies quoted crazy high prices -- both wanted to cut my deck to repipe two return lines and add a dedicated suction line--Andy took one look and said, "no, problem--the pump is so close I'll go through the side wall under the deck." The two return lines are installed mid-pool with each return pipe stacked one over the other (like a traffic light has the lights arranged). They are angled towards the shallow end and cut flush with the wall. The return lines circulate the water from shallow to deep end, mixing warmer water with the cooler water and sending surface debris to the skimmer (also newly replaced). The water visually looks like a blue lava lamp as it moves through the pool. I opted for gray grout and plaster and absolutely love the deepness of the blue and the effect of sunlight on the subtle variations in the colorized plaster. The pool bottom is silky smooth! Never ever "paint" a pool--instead put yourself in the hands of Andrew Morales & Sons--you will be pleased with the transformation! By the way, I checked the credentials of three companies before selecting Andy's company. He has the right licenses to remodel a pool. Other companies only had licenses to service and repair--not redesign or replaster a pool. I am completely satisfied. read more

Andrew Morales re- plastered and re-tiled my pool in 2018. I made Andrew aware within weeks after the work was done that the plaster was starting to get cracks in some areas. He stated that the cracks will disappear after another couple weeks. The cracks did not disappear and they were appearing throughout the pools and spa now. He agreed to fix this issue. He scheduled a few dates with me to fix this issue but had excuses for each date that he couldn't make it. Then COVID-19 hit. Which I understood. I had to keep reaching out to Andrew to try to get this handled. He never once made contact with me to take care of this issue, I always had to call or text to remind him that he needs to get my pool and spa fixed. It has been about a year that has gone by with no contact from Andrew and my pool is still not fixed. I made contact with Andrew again today 11-29-21 due to no communication on his part or to stand behind his work and product. He thought this issue just went away. I might to have another pool company take care of this issue for Andrew Morales. He would say he is going to fix the issue but never came through for me and after a few years, excuses get old. read more

POOL REMODEL AND PLASTER AND MISC I hired Andrew Morales after he promptly returned my phone call. I told him that I needed to make the pool deeper (it was very shallow at the time) and also needed to have it re- plastered. He immediately came over, we talked for a while and he gave me the most fair quote on the work and explained everything in detail. His crew got to work immediately. Andrew was on site with them almost every day and actually did much of the work himself (which is unusual for most contractors).
