You'd figure for $1000 that i was charged, I'd have some sort of bionic repair to last, and all i got was a squirt of glue resin hardened by a uv light, and 30 minutes of his time which he, I'm sure ran laughingly to the bank to pay for his new office. I arrived my first visit and had the best dental visit of my life - almost no pain (X-Rays suck when the plastic hits the bones in your mouth, that's inevitable). I made my follow-up appointment for six months right then and there. Ever since then, I've had the pleasure of having Chelsie as my hygienist and will request her if possible, for every visit. She's friendly and interested in her patients' lives while not asking them questions while she has metal tools in their mouths. I've never had a pain issue when she's been working with me. Angela works the front desk and has been beyond helpful with me from making my first appointment, through changing my insurance and ensuring I was covered by the new company. She's friendly and makes calls and texts to confirm things when I had any questions with no hesitation and complete honesty. I had visited one of the big chains (Modern Dentistry) before visiting Dr. Johnson and had received a quote for several thousands of dollars worth of work. (The other staff is wonderful, too, I just haven't interacted with them as much.) I had to get crowns throughout my entire mouth (long story), and they nailed it!!! They were so sensitive to my anxiety issues, and Dr. Nicole's technique in giving shots (for numbing) is unrivaled! They even re-did a few teeth that I wanted to look a little different. They were completely understanding and accommodating about my request to have these re-done, even though they had to take out a few permanent crowns they had already put in!! Since they have STATE OF THE ART equipment, they were able to remove these easily. Honestly, it was amazing! Seriously, if you're looking for a dentist, go here. I should have left then but I waited till the pain subsided and continued. During the work on the tooth needing attention, they filed down a filling on a different tooth that they were not asked to touch and without my consent. The filling fell apart that afternoon. It was a horrific experience. I refused to pay explaining why. They did not care and turned me over to collections. I paid the collections company while being a bit satisfied that the horrible Dental office did not receive full compensation for their awful services.
