I visited a few local gun stores in the Phoenix area let's just say customer service is not everybody's forte. I was in one other store and there was nobody else in there and I asked clerk a few questions and he was being very rude and acted like I was bothering him from being to busy sitting on his chair, crazy if you ask me! I was in the the Tucson area and found out 2nd Amendment had a local store. So I thought I'd pay them a visit. I was looking for parts for my Ruger precision and a gentleman by the name of John was happy to help me very friendly and answered all my questions and got what I needed. I wasn't planning on buying any big ticket items but Johns customer service was very knowledgeable and helpful so I decided to purchase my first over 10 round capacity handgun from him. Thank you very much Second Amendment and a shout out to John!

If you buy a pepper spray specifically, just pray that if you need it, it may fail. I tried a short squirt with the one I purchased because I had never owned one and wanted to make I understood how to operate it. I then regretted that I hadn't paid attention to how far the spray went. So I tried it a few days later and it didn't spray at all. . .so if one misses attackers eye area, one would not be able to re-aim and correct your aim. . . and beware, some may have no spray in them at all.

Dropped it off on a Friday during my lunch with the freehub of my choice and was told they would need to measure spokes and would go from there as far as how long it would take to finish. Called the following Thursday to see how it was going as I haven't been riding because I don't have a spare wheel and they hadn't even looked at it. Almost a full week... the following day they looked at it and had to order spokes which is fine but knowing it took almost a whole week to look at the wheel just to find out it'll take a few more days for spokes to come in sucked. (Meanwhile i have still been without a wheel this entire time and have been riding indoors but that's very different then being on the bike you want to ride!) it's now been two weeks since I initially dropped it off and still have not gotten a call about it being done. I had to go and call them once again to check on it, spokes came in the following Wednesday, called the next day and was told it's not done yet but I'll get a call when it is. It's now Friday evening two days after the spokes arrive and nothing... point being if you are interested in upgrading your bike and love having things done in a timely manner don't come here. They did however lend me a wheel to use in the meantime which is deserving of an extra star.. otherwise barely a 1 star. My main issues... 1- took almost a whole week to even look at the wheel I dropped off. (Just a wheel to measure spokes) 2- seems like there is no rush to get the item done and not considering how long the customer is out a main component on a bike they may love to ride. 3- no initiative to communicate. Had to call multiple times just to understand what point in the job my wheel was in.

They fit my feet but will they go with the kind of pedal set up I have. I ll have to sit on the bike with the shoes on and connect to the pedals. I hope it's good. I m tired of hunting. Hank , the sales guy, was patient, measured my feet in the socks I wear. Thanks And they offer a military discount. All good. Later : Came home and tried the new shoes with My cage pedals. They fit right. Think I'm In the Clear. Later: When you have a Shimano Shoe that will accept step in clips, "but " you won't be using the clips , Shimano has a adapter called a clip cap. I didn't want to call the factory if they are in stock. So not in stock , but he will order for me. They don't have many riders that read the instructions and Warranty. I ll never use step in clips on the Mountain Bike. Just the Road bike. & I ll need new shoes for Road later this year. Another good reason to come back here. Inventory and Service. Thanks Hank!

After spending 14 years with my ping S56 blades, I thought it was time for an upgrade. I went into…read moreVan's and ask for Tom. I had heard about him from others and I think I had interacted with him previously, but I don't know for certain. Anyway, I told Tom what I was looking for, how I played and my age. Given my age and stated afflictions, he made a decision. Unfortunately, it was not a good decision. For my age, I am healthy and rather mobile. We went through a number of heads and shafts and he decided that these were the best for me. So I ordered them and they arrived and they didn't work at all for me. So I went back and explained and Tom says no problem let's try these instead. What he showed me were clubs that he plays with. And he let me play with his personal clubs, several times. I discovered that I like what his clubs hit like but needed a bit more stability. I played with steel shafts and graphite was always to light and iffy with me. So I reordered clubs (apex150 vs apex 300, the original clubs) and when they came with steel shafts, it was like the heavens opened up. Today, I got my first hole in one with a 7 iron, 145 yards over a bunker at the third hole at Silverbell. I have been playing with these clubs for about 4 weeks. Tom highly recommended the Callaway Opus SP wedges. He suggested a configuration that seemed difficult to get. So I went for 2 other Opus Sp wedges (52 and 58 S Grind) and they performed amazingly. I am 72 years old and play to about a 10 handicap. Since I am not competitive and hate watching people spend 5 minutes over their shot and only then to shank it, I play what ever holes are available. I would highly recommend Van's to people as they (Van's) are not always perfect, but they will always make it right for you. I have dealt with Tom, Carson and Gary and they were extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

I bought a set of Taylor Made Rac irons from Vans some years ago. Before you could even do a review…read moreonline. The set came with fiberglass shafts, and I figured they would work out for me. However, because I am a very high-speed swinger, after a couple times out on the driving range I was horrified to realize my shafts were starting to shatter. The mid iron clubs 5 thru 7 had all become shattered mid shaft. I was pretty upset once I noticed this and after just dropping hundreds on the clubs. I contacted Vans right away and told them of my issue. The guy at the time said, "bring them in and we'll swap them out for steel shaft set." I asked what the cost would be, and he told me "No charge" "Free". I took the old clubs in and he handed me a brand-new set with steel shafts. Sorry but, No one does this. I still have those same Rac irons today and just shot a 4 under on the front nine at Ventana with them. I will always use Vans for all my golfing needs because of this as I have never forgotten my experience. Thank you for being such an upstanding business and guaranteeing your golf gear.
