I bought a pair of Calloway golf shoes on the 11th and played a round of golf on the 14th. These shoes started to hurt my big toes on the back nine. I called the PGA TOUR Superstore/Tucson after the round and asked what the return policy was. I was told that since I had worn them, that I was out of luck, which didn't necessarily surprise me. I commented to the PGA employee that it was unfortunate that I was stuck with a $120 pair shoes, which were now of no value to me, and she laughed for a prolonged period of time. I was not at all amused with that, so I started to politely ask her what she thought was so funny, and she hung up on me. (In all fairness, I'm not sure she heard me asking that question, but she failed to even say goodbye.) You won't miss my business PGA TOUR Superstore. On New Year's Day I went and got a Studio driver fitting with Brandon. I cannot emphasize how glad I am that I was paired up with Brandon. If you're looking at the PGA store or getting fitted in general, don't hesitate - book with him. He is an outstanding fitter. Plainly honest and candid, didn't try to upsell me, which he could have. He explained his philosophy on fitting and how it's an evolving process for player and fitter. He explained the different elements that he was trying to narrow down, without making it feel like a rush. In case this helps paint the picture I'll offer this background up (shouldn't be TLDR if you're serious about getting fitted). I went into the fitting looking (low key hoping) to get married up with a Callaway Paradym series driver (the Triple Diamond, TD Max, or MAX). I've been golfing on and off since I was 13, but was hesitating on getting fitted since my swing hasn't been consistent in my opinion. After getting a consistent rash of crap from my golf group, I took the fitting plunge and man am I glad that I did - and with Brandon. I told him that I was looking at Callaway and Ping drivers (tried swinging a buddies G430 Max 10K with good results). Tried out the ai Smoke MAX, G430 MAX 10K, and newly released Cobra (I think it was the ADAPT Max K). Ran through a number of driver head and shaft stiffness combinations. I have an older driver (think 2008/9 with a then-era shift shaft). Got fitted for a Ping G430 with the extra stiff shaft - and it felt great. Just waiting for it to arrive. Just moved to Tucson, AZ from N California and found PGA Superstore and went in to schedule a club fitting. Waited for 15 minutes to talk to the person and set it up but I guess they were too busy. The following Monday I went back in to have a pitching wedge re-shafted and see about a club fitting. I asked for a KBS Tour 90 shaft like the rest of my clubs and was told they didn't have any. Ok, I understand that so the sales person said he had another brand that close so I paid the invoice and was told it would be done in 72 hrs. Two days later I get a call from a different sale associate saying the shaft they sold me wouldn't fit but they had one that would, turns out is was the KBS shaft I originally wanted but I was told I had to pay extra. So I guess I had to pay for their mistake. The next day I go to pick up my wedge and there is no KBS Tour 90 sticker on the shaft, which means I have to take their word that its the right shaft. Sorry but customer service is gone with this company, they stepped over a dollar to pick up a dime and I would have to blame management for that. read more

I know next to nothing about golf, but wanted to buy my dad new clubs--he's an average player with not a lot of knowledge about what kind of club would work best for his swing. Oscar took the time to watch my dad hit a couple balls then spent the next hour with him going through the different clubs he thought might work best. Not only was she able to completely wipe out the previous experience I had there but she was able completely change my opinion about the store. After having a terrible experience with one fitter, I decided to try again and I was pair with Emma who was just great. She was patient, knowledgeable and professional. Not only did she help me but she was also kind to my son and even gave him some swinging tips. I came back 3 to 4 times to hit a couple more clubs and each time she greeted me with a smile and devoted her time to making sure I was comfortable. She was very accommodating, funny and honest. If she didn't know the answer to a question she went and looked it up. Very resourceful young lady. After this last fitting I went back to her ready to make my final decision. She did everything she could to make sure that I was getting the best value and made sure I was 100% ready to pull the trigger. I would a thousand times over recommend visiting Emma! read more

Was not going to do this initially because I do not like the organization but that is my own personal experience with PGATSS. This, however, is not about my experience. This is about my 6 year old daughters experience with a local Tucson store associate. I know the higher ups look at these and negitive or positive they go to the store as well. That being said I want to say thank you to this older bald or balding hispanic man with a thick accent (please exuse the termonology just want to make srue to ID the correct person). My 6 year old daughter, who is all I have in this world, was treated very well by this employee when she asked for attention. She is 6 and not buying anything but still she was shown the right amount of respect and attention she asked for. Well done sir and thank you again. Today, September 30th, was the first time coming into the PGA Tour Superstore. When I walked inside with my daughter I was impressed with how big the store is. I was immediately greeted. The store was clean and organized. I was looking to purchase a couple of additional clubs for my teen daughter. I was greeted by "Carol" who immediately found the right sales associate for us. "Andrew" was very eager, knowledgeable and knew what my daughter needed. He selected approximately 10 various clubs for my daughter to "try out" in the golf simulator. Upon trying out the various clubs, my daughter selected the best two. Andrew took measurements of my daughter where they shortened the club shaft for her. Michael did an outstanding job with the cuts to shorten the clubs. It is obvious that Andrew. Michael and Carol love their jobs because their customer service was outstanding. Andrew and Michael answered all my questions and Carol went above and beyond to ensure I was pleased with the service I was receiving. I will definitely be back soon and will look forward to either Andrew, Michael or Carol taking care of me. Keep up the good work. read more

On Friday after a very long 2 days traveling, my husband and I stopped at the store to check on a special order. Low and behold there were a number of issues that had occurred. The technology had changed since I bought my last set, so I was very grateful for the abundance of information when making my decision. He suggested certain sets for me based on my swing. I bought a new driver from here that was over $600 and they told me it would take 1-2 weeks. it has been over a month and the reason is because they did not put my apartment number in the shipping address. The driver was then returned to Callaway and the address was fixed. I still have not received the driver or the tracking number to see where the driver is. I have talked to there associate and store managers and none of them seem to make this a priority to fix. read more

The PGA Superstore name is just that...a big golf box store. There is about everything in this store for golf. You can buy golf lessons. Get fitted by a pro using technology. This store is not a discounter. I believe you can find items less expensive on line but you can most likely get what you want here. Customization is also possible. If you want a shaft they do not have, they will order it. I find it hard to leave this "candy" store without buying something. Shoes, balls, clubs...you name it they got it. read more

I am revising a previous one star review. The manager of the store, Mandy, reached out to me, and I figured that it was reasonable to have a chat. My first visit left me and my son stewing, but she needed to know why so she could address it and fix it. And she did. My second encounter with the store was a 180; I got the respectful treatment any customer deserves and they went above and beyond to make it right. I'm not sure I have his name correct, but Octavio? was excellent at fitting and understanding my physical limitations as I am coming back from a significant shoulder surgery. read more

I rented a set of Women's Clubs for four days and then for an extra day. Rentals cost $29.99/day. The first rental transaction they were going to charge me a deposit $120 on top of the rental. My receipt just reflected the 4-day rental! Woohoo. I loved playing with these clubs - they were the Callaway Solaire. 12 clubs. 7,8,9 irons, P, S, a couple Hybrids, a putter and three woods. I was not too keen on when/how to use the Hybrids, but I did the best I could. Oh yeah, there was a 7 Hybrid - I never used this one. Rental process was pretty easy. Fill out a bit of paperwork and they need your ID to secure. The store itself was large. I think it's pretty new. I didn't shop through the store, but I was seeking one item that they didn't have. They didn't have any women's University of Arizona Golf Gear. They had a couple men's items and some towels. I wanted a souvenir! I recommend renting clubs here v. the golf course - you never know what you're going to get at a course and they usually charge more money. Looks like they have fix-it station or custom club repair area. read more

Went in to get a new grip on a club. While I waited I looked around and every staff member I walked near was friendly and greeting me with a smile. I walked to the club testing bays and met Oscar. Wow! What an amazing person. He kindly asked questions and quickly offered to have me test the clubs I mentioned. I was in the market for new clubs but was not planning on buying anything there. Oscar was so helpful in allowing me to ask a lot of questions about the various clubs I was thinking of buying. He also took the time to explain to me the pros and cons between the two types of clubs (hallow versus blade) I considered without me asking him about that. His insight in giving me the pros/cons and reasons why to back up his information, was incredibly valuable. Those issues were the main reason I had not purchased anything to that point. Once I had that ah ha moment Oscar was able to show me the clubs I liked and cost. We ended up finding some Cobra LTDx irons that fit my exact need and at an incredible price. How could I not buy those clubs? Oscar is such an exemplary employee that really took the time to understand what I needed and what I was looking for in the new clubs I thought about purchasing. I stopped in to see if they could assist me with changing the weights in my Scotty Cameron putter today and Brandon was exceptional! He was multitasking as he finished a fitting as well as was able to assist me with removing the weight from my Scotty Cameron, so I can add some new weights that I had recently purchased. Although the weights were difficult to remove, Brandon gave it the old college try and did an exceptional job of removing the weights allowing me to install the new ones at my leisure. His attitude was awesome overall. Customer service is awesome and the young lady at the front desk whose name slips me, she's Asian, is always exceptional in her customer support and caring about clients. Service was awful. After the "club fitter" (term used very loosely as he didn't "fit" or help one bit). Sold me a set of irons, I told the guy I also needed shoes, a putter and a bag. He said, "okay" and disappeared for the remainder of my 45 minutes in the store. No one else bothered to ask if I needed help or seemed to care at all. This review it's average because of 2 different fitters. First was a five star (Ray) and the second, a one star (Andrew). I went into the store with a friend that was getting fitted. No intention of swinging but more of just watching. After a little while of watching, Ray asked if I wanted to try and swing some clubs. I didn't need new irons, but why not. After watching me swing a few different clubs and making notes, I end on a set that I liked. My friend ended up buying his clubs and I wanted to think about it. I had a such good experience with Ray, I told another friend about the fitting and he wanted to go in. This would allow me to think about the clubs I wanted and hit them again. A few days later we both go in and I ask for Ray. Ray wasn't working but Andrew offered to help. I said ok and explained what Ray and I had worked on. Not only did he return with the wrong setup initially, after 4 warm up swings, he told me the setup was wrong. Andrew made a few changes to what he thought was "right" and told me I should just come back with Ray. "I don't think these are the right clubs for you and you should come back when Ray is working. Nothing I'm seeing says you should be in these clubs (JPX 921 Tour)." All while proceeding to tell me how much more experience he has over Ray. After that experience, I didn't want to go back to the store and I no longer wanted to buy the clubs. What worse was, he made a judgement towards me, and he made the same assumptions about my friend. He did not even try to fit him properly and mostly ignored him. I actually went back to the store a week later for golf sleeves and ran into Ray. I explained my experience to Ray and he apologized. He offered to setup the clubs exactly as how they were and offered to dial me in. We worked for about an hour down the very detail. So much of the club fitting experience is personable that you want someone like Ray. His understanding that it takes more than four warm up shots to know if something fits or not will go a long way. I will be returning to buy my clubs as Ray went over the top with his service, twice, to make sure I was confident in my clubs and purchase. This would have been a five star review if Ray had been working the second time I went in. It's not his fault, we all need days off. read more

Beat customer service !!! My driver shaft snapped in half and took it to this store and they mailed it to Cobra for me and had a new shaft put on by Cobra since club was only a yr old. They didnt charge me for this !! I did not initially buy the club from them either . WOW ! That is awesome service ! Also had them do grips on a few clubs and they did it while I waited !! The manager is very active in the store also and is super helpful ! Highly recommend them and will continue to go there for my golfing needs ! read more
