We chose her after seeing her portfolio-her previous work at our venue perfectly matched the style and composition we envisioned for our own wedding. During our engagement shoot, Zha Zha immediately put us at ease. Neither of us is used to being in front of the camera, but she made the experience fun and relaxed, helping us feel natural and not take ourselves too seriously. The engagement photos turned out beautifully-we loved them so much that we used them in our wedding guest book and at our rehearsal dinner. Throughout the entire process, Zha Zha was warm, friendly, and a fantastic communicator. On our wedding day, she was always present and supportive, even stepping in to help with little things like tying my bow tie! Her eye for lighting and composition is truly impressive, and her attention to detail in both framing and editing made every photo look incredible. She also worked seamlessly with our videographer, ensuring everything went smoothly. One unique and invaluable aspect was that Zha Zha speaks Chinese, which made communicating with our families so much easier and helped everyone feel comfortable and included. This was especially important during our Chinese tea ceremony, where she was able to capture all the important moments and ensure nothing was missed. Her eye for lighting and composition is truly impressive, and her attention to detail in both framing and editing made every photo look incredible. We were surprised to receive a preview gallery of 75 photos just a couple of days after the wedding. It was wonderful to be able to share these beautiful moments with our family and friends so quickly. If you're looking for a talented, professional, and genuinely caring photographer, look no further than Zha Zha!

I'm still obsessed with how she captured our day! Our engagement shoot eased all our camera nerves. Zha Zha guided us into simple, natural poses and kept things light and fun, even when we felt awkward. On the wedding day, she went way beyond photography. Whether it was fetching a last-minute detail or gently steering our schedule back on track, she handled everything without missing a beat. Her second shooter was just as warm, competent and professional - they both made us feel completely at ease. In our pre-wedding meeting, she covered every little detail, from where to stand for ceremony shots to how to angle our hands during vows, so when the day arrived we knew exactly what to do. Everyone at the wedding commented on how wonderful she was. With her warm personality and sharp attention to detail, Zha Zha made our day run smoothly and feel truly enjoyable. We can't recommend her highly enough!

Both photographers were very quick in providing the edited photos, and I have had a great experience both times. In 2018, my photographer was Ross, and right off the bat, he's good at communicating with me (especially since I had booked about three months in advanced). He was prompt and very professional. He was very good in balancing out candid and posed shots. Even though I was the birthday girl and had the most shots, he was really good with making sure every guest I had were represented enough in the photos (I had less than 20 guests). What I especially liked about Ross was there wasn't a lot of idle time, and he was really good with taking every opportunity and catching the right moments. In 2019, my photographer was Madeline. She was great as well, especially with balancing out candid with posed shots. Her photos were very well edited and she got to capture a lot of awesome moments! My only tiny complaint about her is that in comparison to Ross, she seemed to take a lot less photos and spent plenty of times just sitting there. For comparison, Ross gave me about 230 photos, while Madeline only gave about 170. Regardless, her photos were great, so I can't complain much haha. I will continue to use Eversnap in any events I host because it's super easy to use. I also like the flexibility of paying 50% of the price upfront, and 50% after the event.

Details: Came up with some excuse 1 hr before event. Terrible service. It was our sons First birthday. Totally ruined the event. They charged my credit card promptly during booking but finally didn't deliver the service. I have never seen such a pathetic service before. I think most reviews are fake and the company is paying some people to get the five star reviews. All kinds of idiots are starting companies and ruining life for others. They have the brains to setup everything ( booking, advertisements...etc) to get money but don't even have a backup camera person. These idiots don't have a contact phone where a real person answers. it takes day's before they respond. what am i supposed to do right in the middle of an event if Photographer doesn't show up and there is nobody to talk to? all brains to get money but none for real service. Amazing what extreme greed can do.

I also appreciated his familiarity with our venue (the Seymour Center in Santa Cruz) for our family event and immediately understood the vibe that we were going for and how the photos should fit into that. In between booking him and the day of the event, he was always responsive by text and email. On the day of the event, he was on time, managing our stress with ease and humor, and making the photography easy. Our photos came out better than we could have hoped for! From the very beginning, he was an absolute pleasure to work with. He provided clear, detailed instructions on how to reach the location and shared helpful tips--like sending him our live location and a selfie in our proposal outfits so he could easily identify us. That level of preparation made the entire experience feel seamless and stress-free. What really stood out was how thoughtfully he planned everything. He made sure the spot was free of crowds and blended in perfectly as a "nature photographer," which kept the surprise completely intact. On the day of the proposal, Chris was punctual, professional, and incredibly patient. He spent about an hour with us, capturing such beautiful, genuine moments--all with a warm and friendly attitude that made us feel comfortable throughout. He also delivered the photos promptly, and the quality exceeded our expectations. One thing I especially appreciated was his integrity. Even though his pricing had increased between the time I booked and the actual shoot, he honored the original rate without hesitation. That says a lot about his character. Overall, I would highly recommend Chris to anyone looking to capture a special moment. He played a big role in making our day unforgettable.

Booking and finding the studio was an easy process, since they sent a text on the booking date with pictures of where to enter in the building. The studio is really clean. Before we stepped into the room, everyone had to step on a sticky mat to clean our shoes. Appreciated it to keep the photo room clean. Once you are inside the room, there are chairs, props, backdrop, the camera, a monitor to see yourself before taking the pictures, and the monitor with the photos after you clicked it. We were blown away with the lighting! Prepare your poses beforehand. We had a Pinterest board of the poses and went through them during our session. Time does fly by quick. The owner walked us through the photo selection process. It was nice to have a few printed photos to keep while the rest of the photos were sent via email/Airdrop. I will be a returning customer :) Highly recommend BYME studio

Not to mention so affordable compared to other quotes we got. Just make sure you have space in your home for them to set up. Our twins were in the NICU for a month and our photography session was at 1.5 month old so they were older babies. Melaina and Becca were sooo patient with our girls since they don't sleep for as long as fresh newborns. They worked well together by bouncing swaddle/posing ideas off of each other. In addition, we felt very safe and assured because Melaina and Becca did frequent hand-hygiene after touching equipment before continuing to work with our babies. We'd recommend them to our friends and family!

I had to call the office myself. She eventually reached out, but she didn't seem happy about it. When I asked about certain outfits and colors, she lied and said she didn't have them. However, I later found out that all Sweet Me photographers have the same kits--meaning she did have what I was looking for. On the day of the shoot, she canceled at the last minute. The company arranged for a replacement photographer to come instead. Unfortunately, the new photographer lacked experience with infants who are 4-5 weeks old. She mentioned she had only worked with newborns around 2 weeks old or younger. According to her, babies over 4 weeks are more alert and harder to pose. She also had a bit of an attitude. When I requested a specific color and outfit, she resisted and wanted to do things her way. I was still recovering and in pain at 4-5 weeks postpartum, but I patiently asked her to use the color I wanted. She eventually did, but it was clear she wasn't happy about it. She also came across as judgmental during the session--both in how she did the poses and in her comments about our family situation. The session was long because the baby was crying, and we had to take breaks to soothe and comfort him. It was a lot for the baby. Despite everything, I still tipped her well. If you're asking whether I recommend Sweet Me Photography, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Try to find someone with more experience and ask for referrals from people who have already done newborn shoots. Sweet Me just sends out random photographers, and you don't get to review their profiles ahead of time. I did end up purchasing all the photos, but the overall experience could have been much better.
