Not to mention so affordable compared to other quotes we got. Just make sure you have space in your home for them to set up. Our twins were in the NICU for a month and our photography session was at 1.5 month old so they were older babies. Melaina and Becca were sooo patient with our girls since they don't sleep for as long as fresh newborns. They worked well together by bouncing swaddle/posing ideas off of each other. In addition, we felt very safe and assured because Melaina and Becca did frequent hand-hygiene after touching equipment before continuing to work with our babies. Rebecca was not friendly. According to their policy, the photographer is supposed to reach out a couple of days before the session to go over the details, but she didn't. I had to call the office myself. She eventually reached out, but she didn't seem happy about it. When I asked about certain outfits and colors, she lied and said she didn't have them. However, I later found out that all Sweet Me photographers have the same kits--meaning she did have what I was looking for. On the day of the shoot, she canceled at the last minute. The company arranged for a replacement photographer to come instead. Unfortunately, the new photographer lacked experience with infants who are 4-5 weeks old. She mentioned she had only worked with newborns around 2 weeks old or younger. According to her, babies over 4 weeks are more alert and harder to pose. She also had a bit of an attitude. When I requested a specific color and outfit, she resisted and wanted to do things her way. I was still recovering and in pain at 4-5 weeks postpartum, but I patiently asked her to use the color I wanted. She eventually did, but it was clear she wasn't happy about it. She also came across as judgmental during the session--both in how she did the poses and in her comments about our family situation. The session was long because the baby was crying, and we had to take breaks to soothe and comfort him. It was a lot for the baby. Despite everything, I still tipped her well. If you're asking whether I recommend Sweet Me Photography, I would suggest looking elsewhere. Try to find someone with more experience and ask for referrals from people who have already done newborn shoots. Sweet Me just sends out random photographers, and you don't get to review their profiles ahead of time. I did end up purchasing all the photos, but the overall experience could have been much better. read more

I searched through Yelp for newborn photography recommendations. My husband and I ended up going with Sweet Me Photography because of their good reviews and reasonable pricing. The process from booking to the date of the photography was easy. We did have to change the date of the photography due to an unexpected hospitalization for our son. Sweet Me was very accommodating and worked with us to schedule a new photography session date. Catherine was our photographer for the newborn session. She called a few days before the session to go through how to get baby ready for photo session and to see if there were any preferences we had. She was on time and took our color preferences/styles into consideration. She also worked really well with our son and made sure he was comfortable throughout the session.  We received the photography proofing the other day, and we love all of the photos from the photo session. We used Sweet Me for our newborn photos. Loved our photographer who was so good w a newborn. Only thing is I wish I provided more input on the background / outfit combos. I was too tired, only 1 week pp, to really have the energy to do more directing. Liked that our photographer did some w/ family in as well at no additional charge. Minus a star for their very awkard (but probably intentional) # of photos in each package. I think we wanted 14 photos, but we could only choose a package add-on for a total of 12 or 20. The starting fee comes with 8 photos. There's still one photo that I'm thinking about going back and purchasing. $60 / photo. read more

I just received the 50+ proofs taken of my baby girl. I was a little apprehensive initially before viewing them. I am so happy I went with Sweet Me for my firstborn's baby pictures! The entire process was convenient and fast, and the pictures were amazing. You register online with your due date, and someone will reach out to schedule your tentative session based on that. If baby comes sooner or later than expected, just let them know and they will adjust your session. Our photographer was Rebecca and I highly recommend her. She reached out a couple days prior to the session to go over logistics for the shoot. We went through the site to pick out outfits/backdrops that we like so she can plan ahead of time. On the day of she was so gentle and good with our baby, and was patient throughout the shoot to wait for baby to calm down/fall asleep. She brought soooo many outfits and accessories, you're sure to find something you'll like. We were told to expect our proofs in a week but it took less time than that. 8 retouched pictures are included in the basic package but you can purchase more if you want, and there's different pricing points for different number of photos. Well the photos turned out great! and we couldn't just stick with 8. We picked the ones we loved and someone reached out again in a couple of days to confirm what we wanted to have retouched in the photos. then a few days later we received the link to download. We loved how convenient the process was from booking to receiving the finished photos. The photographer comes to your home which made it so easy for parents and baby. From staying up in the wee hours of the morning with my new baby...the last thing on my mind is to get out of the house. I recently booked a newborn session and am happy with the sweet memories that Sweet Me Photography helped me capture. The entire experience from booking to selecting photos was very simple and straight forward. I received photos to select from in the time frame promised, and the turnaround was very quick! The props and costumes are all so adorable! The photographer was cordial, gentle, and very patient. (So convenient for a tired mom and a newborn not yet ready to meet the outside world yet.) When I compare them to my first child it is night and day!
