Both photographers were very quick in providing the edited photos, and I have had a great experience both times. In 2018, my photographer was Ross, and right off the bat, he's good at communicating with me (especially since I had booked about three months in advanced). He was prompt and very professional. He was very good in balancing out candid and posed shots. Even though I was the birthday girl and had the most shots, he was really good with making sure every guest I had were represented enough in the photos (I had less than 20 guests). What I especially liked about Ross was there wasn't a lot of idle time, and he was really good with taking every opportunity and catching the right moments. In 2019, my photographer was Madeline. She was great as well, especially with balancing out candid with posed shots. Her photos were very well edited and she got to capture a lot of awesome moments! My only tiny complaint about her is that in comparison to Ross, she seemed to take a lot less photos and spent plenty of times just sitting there. For comparison, Ross gave me about 230 photos, while Madeline only gave about 170. Regardless, her photos were great, so I can't complain much haha. I will continue to use Eversnap in any events I host because it's super easy to use. I also like the flexibility of paying 50% of the price upfront, and 50% after the event.

Even though we booked on short notice, we were still able to find a photographer. I booked and paid online, which was very simple. Then the photographer emailed me about the details. The photographer, Tomas Demenis was very nice and we had a fun experience. After he put the photos on the Eversnap website and you can download which ever photos you want! To start with, she was very accommodating with our needs, travel time, pricing and just overall flexible around schedule and setting up the shoot. We discussed ideas before the shoot and had numerous message exchange for different poses, styling, hair and makeup. She also drove all the way to Santa Clara for shooting at the spot we picked, which was very generous of her. There are a couple things that are critical for a photoshoot especially one involving a small puppy - comfort, ideas, familiarity and patience. Nupur is exceptional in all these aspects! She also has a great personality which helped us have fun during the shoot instead of 'posing' to get the right angle and expression. My husband is bit camera shy and our small dog is difficult to manage but when we saw the final photographs they were nothing short of magic. We had our pick of 7 amongst the numerous marvelous shots she captured, but she went ahead and provided us few extras which was an awesome gesture. Since the first moment I contacted her, she has been super tentative, responsive, and patient with all my questions and input. I wanted to try something new and different that I hadn't seen in her portfolio before and she was not only game but was extremely excited and kind about everything. Even before the shoot, we talked on the phone to discuss themes, we texted about different angles, lighting, mood, locations, and wardrobe. I have had many photo shoots (engagement, wedding, individual/family/professional portraits etc) with different photographers, and Nurpur is BY FAR the best in collaboration. We never felt like our ideas were sub par, in fact, every pose or photo that I had selected for inspiration, we actually worked to recreate each look in our own way! We basically fed off each other's creativity and ideas and turn a commercial event into stunning photographic art! I had explained ahead of time that the event…read morewas in a banquet room with low lighting and lots of bright colors, and that it was important to me that he capture photos of our family as well as all the guests. In that respect, Joel did a very good job. He photographed the newlyweds, the guests, and the performances thoroughly, and he worked quietly and unobtrusively throughout the evening. However, there were very few pictures of our family. I wished he had focused on getting more family pictures. The reason I am giving a 4-star review rather than 5 is due to a lack of clarity around post-processing. It was not communicated beforehand that the photos would be largely unedited. While the lighting was adjusted, many images ended up overexposed, and there were several distracting background elements--such as podiums, backpacks, and visible wires--that I had expected would be edited out. When I asked about this, I was told that additional editing would cost extra. There was also a lot of emphasis on a complimentary drone photo of the entire party, which unfortunately was not feasible since the event was indoors. I wish the focus had instead been on clearly explaining what level of editing was included and taking more family pictures. Overall, if you are looking for someone to efficiently cover an event and capture everyone present, Joel does a solid job. If you want more detailed editing or a specific finished look, I would strongly recommend clarifying those expectations in advance. I read many Yelp reviews before hiring him and did not see this mentioned, so I felt it was important to share.

I really appreciated that they had a separate room for changing clothes and baby diaper changes, which made everything so much more comfortable and convenient. They had beautiful backgrounds and so many fun props for my baby to play with. We also added on the sibling option, and both of my kids had such a great time during the session. Ted was incredibly patient with my kids and managed to capture so many sweet and adorable moments naturally. The final photos turned out absolutely beautiful and dreamy, I couldn't be happier with them! We decided to do a cake smash Photoshoot for our baby's 1 year birthday. After seeing the many cute…read morecake smash backgrounds that Tangram Studio had, we decided to book with them! Ted was very responsive and we were able to book an appointment for the following week (we took a day off in the middle of the week). We also decided to do the add on for family and pets. I LOVE that there's an option to include our furry family members! As much as I tried to plan ahead and get to the studio in time that day, my baby decided to fight his nap that morning. He eventually fell asleep.. but way too close to the time we had to leave. I reached out to Ted ASAP to ask if there was flexibility to push the photoshoot back a bit so my baby could take an hour nap so he's less likely to be fussy during the photoshoot. He had another scheduled shoot after ours but was flexible for us to come a bit later than scheduled which I was very grateful for! When we got to the studio, the cake smash background was already set up! The studio was so clean! There was a room for us to change the baby and put all our stuff in - there was also a changing table and diaper pail in there! Ted and his assistant were so great with our dogs and baby! They were patient and knew how to get our baby to laugh and look at the camera. There were a few times where I was ready to give up because handling a baby and two dogs for a photoshoot was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be! Ted was so patient with them and continuing to try his best to take the perfect shot for us. I really appreciated that because there were some amazing photos we would have missed out on if not for Ted! Cleanup was super easy - we brought wipes to wipe our baby down and then took him to the bathroom to do a quick rinse before leaving. I was surprised that we got our proof gallery two days later! The unedited proof gallery pictures were honestly high quality and I would not have known they were unedited if they didn't tell me! We received our edited photos 2 weeks later. I was so happy with the fast turnaround time! I asked Ted if he could fix my hair in the family pictures and he was able to do so for me (thank you!!). I'd absolutely come back for another photoshoot in the future and would highly recommend Tangram!

For the engagement photos, this was back in November 2023. She was already there when we arrived. Zach and I both felt so awkward and nervous since this was our first photo shoot, but Anna worked her magic and did her best to help us relax for the entire session. She's also a dog person so I was overjoyed that our dog was able to join us in these photos. After we saw the amazing engagement photos, I knew I had to secure her for our wedding day. Her response time is great as well; she will let you know when she is out of town and how long/when to expect a response from her. Our wedding was in mid-July 2024. Anna was there early again to scope out the wedding venue and checked in with both Zach and I the entire event. When I was having trouble walking in my dress, she was quick on her feet to help me. We had a long list of photos we wanted with family and she was able to organize everyone in a timely fashion.
