Asada, Chicharron, Al Pastor Tacos Plate with rice and beans
    LINA M.

Stopped by after seeing a random food truck after visiting Asian Garden Mall since my son hadn't ate. Ordered the 3 tacos combo plate which he chose asada, chicharron, and al pastor that came with rice and beans for $10.50 total. He said the tacos were all kind of mid and lacked flavor. He also mentioned the rice and beans were the highlight of the meal. I can't attest to anything since I didn't try.

With all the Mexican food trucks in SoCal, this might be one of my favorites. Amazing food at such amazing prices!! 1.50 for a taco, filled with good meats, cilantro, and onions, then topped with grilled onions and a slice of lemon. Definitely add the gauc for an extra 0.50. Definitely worth it! Also love their carnitas quesadillas too! Was stuffed afterwards cuz the portions are generous. Super nice ppl and really chill atmosphere with lightning fast service. Clean setup w trash bins nearby and a good number of convenient stools set up if you wanna eat real quick there.

Finally checked out Andy's Taco Truck in Westminster after hearing good things, and it definitely delivered. I've had a lot of taco trucks over the years, and it's getting harder to find spots that still offer both quality and value. The first thing that stood out was the price. At $1.50 per taco, it's hard to find deals like that these days, especially when they actually taste this good. The carnitas and chorizo tacos were both solid, and honestly every protein I tried was worth ordering. My favorite item of the night was the loaded potato. Packed with flavor, super satisfying, and something I'd come back for specifically. The al pastor mulita was another standout with great flavor and a nice crispy texture. The cabeza burrito was loaded, and the asada torta hit the spot as well. Overall, a really solid taco truck that gets both the food and value right. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Where else can you find $1 tacos?! Happened to stumble upon this hidden gem while having a foodie adventure in Westminster. Ordered the cabeza, lengua, asada, and adobada. All were delicious and for only $4?? Can't beat it!! Would definitely come back

I would rate this a 5/5 because the tacos were good and each one was $1.50 (as of March 2026) but I unfortunately found a hair in one of my tacos. It sucks, but worth mentioning.

I'm from San Diego and never really see $1 tacos down there: at least not ones that taste this good. We were up in OC visiting my in-laws and stumbled across this taco truck, and dang... these tacos were insanely good for the price. So good that my husband and I immediately went back for seconds. And those grilled onions ... perfectly charred and added so much flavor to the beef tongue tacos I personally got. For a dollar taco, the quality really surprised us in the best way. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. Totally worth it!

I honestly can't count the number of times I've been here or how many friends I've put onto Andy's Truck. Most often I find myself stopping by at the beginning of the month when rent is due and my bank account is crying. It's always super affordable, and the food never misses. After trying a few different meats, my personal ranking (all tasty, just some favorites!) would be: Chicharron Carnitas (though they sell out here and there!) Al Pastor Asada Chorizo Still plenty more to try, and I'm looking forward to it. For the aguas frescas, I'd rank them: Pineapple Horchata Hibiscus What really bumps up my rating though is how much they care about their customers. They notice the little things that make you feel seen. One day I forgot to take off my mask after work (I'm in a medical setting), and Andy actually asked if I was sick--he didn't have to, but it meant a lot. They've noticed when I changed my glasses, and even that I rarely pay with cash. It's always those small touches that make a place feel like more than just food. Considering the amount of times I've gone here, do I even have to say that I will be back? More like cya next time Andy's truck!

    1. The tacos were simple and delicious! The Agua Fresca was also refreshing! 2. The food truck has chill casual vibes! 3. There is no seating at this spot! You can still stand and eat your tacos with shade provided by the food truck! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with my order! It was ready in 5 mins! 5. Street parking is plenty! There is a 2 hr limit! Note: This place accepts card, but it is cheaper if paying with cash! Photo: Tacos and Agua Fresca

Not a great tasting taco but IT'S ONLY $1. Wow nothing is $1 these days. My boyfriend and I stumbled by Andy's Truck on our way to the Asian Garden Mall nearby and we decided to walk over to check out if it's really $1. To our surprise they had all of their tacos for $1. You can pick from asada, pollo, chorizo, chicharron, al pastor, carnitas, cabeza, and lengua. Really good variety. They were out of chicharron on the day of our visit. My boyfriend had the asada and cabeza and I had the al pastor and carnitas. The tortilla on the taco for mine was dryyyyyy but the meat was tasty and a decent amount considering the pricing. We would totally frequent this spot if we lived closer. Definitely a solid meal or snack on a budget.

I decided to come here on a Tuesday night after seeing a reel posted about it on Instagram. I don't fully trust reels, but for the advertised $1 dollar tacos, I figured it wouldn't hurt to give them a try. The truck was easy to locate in the back area of the Asian Garden Mall. There are plenty of street parking so I did not struggle to find parking at all. In the Instagram reel, the person mentioned that there is usually a long line. However, maybe because it was right after the rain, because I did not experience that long of a wait. I was able to park and put my order in probably 5 minutes max. I ordered 4 asada tacos and a can of sprite and paid with my card. The total came out to be $7.10, but I'm sure if I had cash on me and paid with cash, it would have been less since there was a sign that said tax and fee are included with card purchases. The tacos were pretty good. I just was not a fan of the tortillas because they were a bit tough. The tacos were filled with a good amount of asada meat and served with grilled onions. There were three different salsas you can add to the tacos. I was really impressed and I was really full from those four tacos and can of soda. You really cannot beat this deal. I would come by again.

Can't really beat this price, especially at this time. Came back for more tacos. Still great service, fast and good foods.

Woo! Man this place pumped me up! Coming from San Diego, a hub for Mexican food, my expectations were somewhat skeptical with the $1 tacos. Honestly, I have no idea how they're able to keep the price so low, but the quality so high. Andy and his associates took our order and made our food in less than 5 minutes. Honestly better than most food trucks here in San Diego. We had the carnitas, carne asada, pollo and beef tongue, literally came back for seconds for a total 15 tacos, less than $20 spent, well invested. Easy to park, just eat in your car and throw your trash out near the truck!

Two al pastor and one Asada tacos
    Jenny T.

The al pastor and Asada meats were both seasoned very well and so tender. I was very surprised on the quality of the tacos based on the price but it is so delicious and at $1 a taco, such a great deal. The tacos come on a small street taco sized corn tortillas and there's four different available sauces that have a tiny spicy kick. You can also buy salsa here! If you get a burrito or etc. Delicious food served with friendly smiles!

Ask the Community - Andy’s Taco Truck

I went on the weekend and it was $2.00 per taco. Is it cheaper on other days such as the weekday? When is it $1.00?

They don't have $1.00 tacos anymore. The pictures advertise it and it says it on the truck but when you go to pay there is a handwritten sign saying "The price of tacos has gone up."

I really appreciate the variety of sauces, and I believe they put on this one special sauce in a container that is REALLY spicy, but has like that Mexican candy flavor. My friend was able to snag one for us to try, but when I tried to get up to get one for my partner and I, I didn't see any left, so I assume they restock it periodically. Decent amount of parking just for the restaurant.

Decided to drop in and was delighted to know their Taco Tuesday special is $1 street tacos for a select handful of 8 protein fillings and $2 for 6 other choices. Even their regular price is still very reasonable. There was definitely a line around 6pm but it moved quickly. Love that they also have a self service taco condiments bar and area on the side of their truck where you can top your food with the freshly sliced or pickled veggies/chilis and slather on various taco sauces to your heart's content. Especially loved that they use a rotating gyro style meat grill for some of their meats. I also noticed they had another truck/van parked nearby where one of the staff would go to replenish some of their supplies for their taco truck. What an efficient way to keep up with demand by having a mobile/secondary vehicle that you can use for storage of stock to keep up with the high demand. I loved all the street tacos that I tried: carnitas, fried fish filet, al pastor, carne asada. Flavorful and done right! Definitely recommend this spot any day of the week when they're open, but especially for their Taco Tuesday specials.

I used to come here on Taco Tuesdays only because the tacos were $1 and the line at El May is always too long. I chose convenience over taste, but in the end, this place offers neither. On my last visit, I waited about 40 minutes for my tacos. I ordered six and only managed to eat three before realizing I had overpaid and that the $1 tacos weren't worth my time or the effort it took to chew them. I threw the remaining three straight into the trash. I genuinely chose to go hungry rather than finish them. The meat and tortillas were both bad, and the portion sizes were pitiful. I honestly don't recommend this place at all, especially when Tacos El May is literally right next door.

This one has been around for a long time and still draws a steady crowd. They used to be open twenty four hours, which was a huge perk, but even now it remains a go to choice for quick and flavorful tacos. I ordered their street tacos, which continue to be some of the best I have had in Orange County. They remind me of tacos I have eaten in Mexico. They are small in the perfect way, two or three bites and you are through the taco, which is exactly what a good street taco should be. The meat has a rich and savory flavor that stands out right away. The red sauce is bold and adds the right amount of heat without overpowering the rest of the taco. The staff here is consistently friendly and welcoming, which adds to the charm of the place. Service moves fast even when they are busy. Inside, the space has that classic street taco shop feel. It can get crowded, especially during peak times. The only thing I would like to see improved is a little more attention to cleaning the tables when the rush hits since you sometimes have to sit at a spot that was not wiped down yet. It is not a major issue but it is the only reason my rating is four stars instead of five. Overall, Taqueria Mexico is excellent and remains one of my favorite spots for authentic street style tacos. There's 3 people ahead of me. Jackpot, right? Wrong. They move so slow that a line forms behind me anyway. 15 minutes later I finally order: 2 carne asada, 2 al pastor to go, onion + cilantro on the side, salsa included. $2.65 each, FYI. Get home, crack open the foil, and... are these tacos for ants? I'm not crazy, so I did what any rational adult does: pulled out a food scale. Three tacos, weighed the meat. All came in at _under 1 oz_. Normal tacos run 1.5 oz. These are missing a full half-ounce of dignity. I usually need 2-3 bites per taco. These? One bite. I tested it. Slid right in like a communion wafer. Flavor? Aggressively mid. Carne asada tasted like it gave up halfway through cooking. Pastor was just... there. Nothing offensive, nothing memorable. Like a beige PowerPoint slide. Sides? Salsa bar? Pickled onions, grilled jalapeños, radishes? Nah. This place is a desert. You get foil, meat confetti, and the crushing realization that $2.65 bought you disappointment. Now I know why the line died. Taquería Mexico isn't even phoning it in -- they hung up. Orange County really is the undisputed champion of mid tacos. I live 1 mile from the LA County line and I'm forced to cross it like a taco refugee.
