Taqueria Azteca is delicious. I just love taco trucks. My go to is Al Pastor and my boyfriend gets Carne Asada whenever we go to taco trucks. The tacos are filled with meat. I can only eat a few, I'm very small. My boyfriend usually eats six to seven tacos. They are both decent good options to get, however, they are not close to the best tacos, and therefore, I give them four stars. Both meats could use more flavor but I would definitely come back and get the same meats again if I'm in the area. Don't forget to get Salsas, Limes and Radish. They are located west of N Euclid St so the location on Yelp might be a little off. You can park on the street for free next to the truck. There was no wait went I went on a Friday night around 9 PM. Service is friendly. I don't remember there being any seating. You could stand and eat or eat in the car. I chose to take it home and eat. I think they only take cash so don't forget to bring that. We went here because of the positive reviews but was not expecting to have some of the best Pastor and Asada. Spent the day at Disneyland wanted to pick something up decided to come here couple people in line tiny little truck that put out some of the best Mexican food in the area. Will definitely be back. We ordered tacos de pastor, asada and tripas they were bomb. the green salsa was good and the red pickled onions were my fav nice and spicy the staff are friendly they speak English and Spanish. I have been searching for a taco truck that is fairly close to home and sells delicious tripas ever since my other taco truck stopped selling them. I think I have found my new go to!! The truck is a small one but the workers are really nice and the tacos are amazing! The tripas are crunchy, not soggy, and tasteful! They also give you condiments such at onions, lime, and radish. The only problem I have with this place is that it was not in the same location the second time I went? Not sure if it's because I went a little early but I doubled back after and it still wasn't there. Uuummmm so goodbye to my summer diet, I guess? Super good tacos, crispy mulitas, and perfectly spicy salsas. I saw from a review that their suadero was good so I ordered two suadero tacos, one carne asada taco, one al pastor taco, and one mulita with extra cheese. The suadero was so yummy. The cook grills the tender, fatty brisket to order which crisps it up to add amazing texture. The carne asada and al pastor were good, too, but got overshadowed by the suadero. I'm not gonna lie, tacos, a little greasy. But the pickled onions on the side cut through it nicely. I was also very happy with the spice level of both green and red salsas, especially because I personally tend to judge a taco spot by their salsas. I'm even thinking about going again tomorrow (don't judge me - it's 2021) for more suadero tacos and to try their tripas tacos that everyone raves about. No fancy salsa bar here. Only red and green salsas. Red one is spicier. Cash only (duh!) My favorite ones are the tripa (instestine/tripe) tacos. Ask them to make it crispy or (doradito) for the non-Spanish speaking folks. And the suadero which is a cut of beef from between the lower flank and sirloin primal of a cow. Yeah, I just googled that because I didn't know what it was either. Been to this taco truck about three times now, and so far so good. I love this place. I stick to the Pastor, Chorizo and Asada. Chicken isn't my thing at any taqueria though. I do WISH they had queso fresco or cotija but that's a minor issue. The tacos and burritos hit the spot and the people who work here are kind and very accommodating. The asada chorizo burrito is perfect for when I wanna be a fatty and play xbox at my place till I pass out. Perfect gamer snack and not messy. The salsas are great. I get the avocado one and the red one. The mix is a good balance on the burrito because the red salsa is habanero sweet and i cant freaking hang anymore. But the green avocado salsa brings the heat back down to bearable. They're usually outside around 8pm and stay until around 1am. Monday-Saturday....they've saved my life so many nights when I wanted some bomb Mexican taqueria food because garden grove ain't popping with as many as close as this truck is. We've been here for almost a year now and love it. The chef, who's the owner is great! However tonight, our food was inedible because it wasn't cooked by the owner as usual. The chef that usually cooks for us did not cook our quesadillas but he did cook my father's quesadilla and it was delicious. My husband said a NEW CHEF that the owner hired on cooked ours and it was DISGUSTING. Both of our chicken quesadillas were super greasy with oil oozing out of it, chicken undercooked without seasoning and barely any cheese. This has never happened before. We ended up not eating any of the food we ordered which is money down the drain. My husband is so mad that he doesn't ever want to go back.
