In all the years of doing annual dentals, this never happened to any one of our seven horses. Also, our mule was inadequately sedated so the farrier who was in attendance for trimming her could not safely work on her. Two weeks later the farrier texted us to say that he would no longer attend to our horses on account of an "unsafe" environment, Fortunately, we didn't loose too much with him. Also that day, this veterinarian from Walkersville Vet Clinic recommended an inadequate treatment regimen for one of our horses with osteoarthritis consisting of large amounts of Tylenol. For some time now, we have an extraordinarily experienced, talented and committed veterinarian and a farrier whom I cannot say enough good things about. Without this truly amazing veterinarian who put our guy with severe osteoarthritis on a regimen of Adequan and Legend, he'd be long gone.

Let me tell u.. If u need pet sitting USE THEM!! Tiffany is a good friend but treated this like a job separate from our friendship. The pups stayed on schedule, had walks, lots of cuddling. I got pics & updates. She stripped my bed and put on new sheets and pillow cases and made the bed beautifully! She folded all blankets (offered to wash them all but I stopped her OCD lol!) picked up all toys and the house was SO CLEAN! It made coming home stress free. Whether u need a pet walked, let out, boarding, or overnights at ure house USE THEM!! We also used them daily the 1st year of Gia's life. Let me tell you they were saints. Gia peed in her crate almost daily. They would clean the crate, clean her then walk them both without complaint. We asked Gia be hand fed her lunch (we were teaching her to take food gently as well as practice small commands like "sit" & "stay" ) well she did that too (I have security cameras that no one can see and I saw her doing every single thing I asked of her) I felt like I hit some kind of doggy jackpot!! They are the reason I can go out late, go on vacation, know if there's an emergency they will handle it and I never have to stress! I also recommended them to my SIL. A older friend of hers was standing beside in a hospice as his wife was dying. He knew it would be a week or so and HATED leaving her bedside but had a dog at home. My SIL contacted them (Pecora) and explained his dilemma. They moved things, worked extra hours and gave the man updates on his dog so he could stay by his wife and focus on her. He later mentioned that they were a godsend. He would never have forgiven himself if he left and she passed but because of Pecora Pet that wasn't going to be a worry. My little guy can be a little aggressive due to his anxiety but he immediately took to her, this set my mind at ease right away. She let us do the vaccinations in bits to ease the financial strain, which we really appreciated! Recently that same kitten (now a cat named Percy) got very sick and I was panicked, but she got me an appointment quickly and made me feel confident he would be okay. I can't afford inpatient care, but she let me bring him in every day as soon as I could get away from work for 3 straight days to check on him and give him medicine at an affordable price. Every milestone he took to getting better was celebrated and she even answered when I called after hours just to share that he finally pooped (I was planning on leaving a voicemail!) and she was just as excited as me! I saw other reviewers say she was rude, but I think she has the personality of a cat -- she's direct and takes crap from no one, but if you show her respect and are willing to take her advice, you'll make a great team and you'll see just much she cares!

We called this place to get help in the context of an emergency with mom's cat as the new place was not able to manage emergency end of life care. Dr. Siegal told us that if we were still her client she would be able to help us but since we had found another provider she refused to help, even though we adopted this cat from her and he had been in her care for 11 of his 12 years of life. She said that's what you get for leaving. My mom is elderly and loved this cat dearly. She had to euthanize this cat with strangers (who were very kind btw). This was a week after she lost her son who was also a long time client of Dr. Siegal's. I explained the circumstances and was coldly turned away. I just believe if someone loves cats they should also have compassion for people. I was appalled and very hurt by the dispassionate and cruel response from her. I wouldn't trust someone like this to care for my cats, not if I loved them.

While making the appointment, the date was set to later but they moved him into a canceled slot because of the nature of his needs and how bad it would be to let his foot get worse. We came in the next morning and he saw a doctor who had dealt with pillow foot before. She recommended oral meds and some pain killers. We had hoped for the injection to simplify things but they said they didn't carry it at all. So, we went with the oral meds. This does mean we will have to stress out our senior cat a bit more but I guess it staves off diabetes for him? I'm t not sure which is the lesser evil in this case.

We recently had both of our dogs in for dental cleanings and extractions, one of our dogs having…read morealso had a malignant tumor removed and the other a very large amount of teeth removed. Both times we had a smooth and easy experience. Everyone is so nice, from the doctors and techs to the front desk staff. Directions for home care are explained well, estimates are clear and extremely accurate, and the follow-up calls to check on our pets after their procedures are especially helpful - I also received a response from a doctor in both cases (within minutes) a few days after their surgeries when it seemed like they were having additional pain. I'm just blown away by how much they care for our beloved pets. We feel so comfortable bringing them here we've decided to try out the kennel in a few weeks as well. If we lived closer we would want to come here for everything but for now we will be happy to be able to utilize the kennel and hospital for dental and any other major things. We highly recommend Dr. McCourt because she performed both of our dog's procedures and was absolutely fabulous but we have met one or two of the other doctors and they have had the same level of attention and kindness. It's truly a wonderful place.
