One of my dogs is now five and has severe anxiety. This became much more noticeable after he was neutered. We have been trying medication, but it does not seem to be working, and his anxiety has continued to get worse. He shakes when I leave, breaks pieces off my door if he is outside for even a few minutes, and will barely leave the house or get in the car. When I called and explained how serious this had become, I was told to bring him in for his annual visit. Over the next couple of weeks, he seemed to get worse by the day. I responded to their text message because I was frustrated and concerned. I understand my message likely came across as frustrated, because I was. I was trying to get help for my dog. What made the situation more upsetting was what happened after that. After I sent the text, I saw Brittany McMahon's name appear as having viewed my Facebook story. Brittany is the assistant manager, and she was also the person I ended up speaking with by phone. During that call, she told me the team had reviewed my text message, so there had clearly been dialogue among the team about my complaint. I am not claiming to know exactly what was said, but as a customer, that sequence did not feel neutral or professional. I sent a frustrated message because I was trying to get help for my dog. I was then told the team had reviewed that message, and I also knew that the same manager involved had looked at my personal social media. Readers can draw their own conclusions about how that feels from the customer side, and what a customer might reasonably wonder about the dialogue happening around a complaint in that situation. The call did not feel helpful or compassionate. It felt like I was being judged for being upset, rather than supported through a difficult situation with a dog who has significant anxiety. Instead of feeling like the practice was trying to help me figure out next steps, I was told they could send me my dogs' records. I understand the practice may be going through a leadership change, and maybe that has contributed to the experience. But as a long-time client with two dogs in their care, I expected more support, follow-through, and professionalism. If you are taking your pet there for routine annual visits, your experience may be fine. But if your pet has special needs, behavioral concerns, or a more complex situation, I would be cautious about relying on this practice for support.

It was difficult to notice the changes at the beginning of the pandemic because owners were not permitted to enter the facility with their pets. With the restrictions being recently lifted, the corporate influence is much more palpable. Our dog has been experiencing some concerning symptoms of consistent coughing since mid-February. We immediately called for an emergency appointment and it was determined that he has a heart murmur (it is at a 3 on a scale of 1-6). They prescribed a diuretic and told us that they recommended an EKG. We completed the prescription diuretic and scheduled the EKG for March 1st. I took him in for the EKG at 8am on March 1st. He was boarded for about half of the day. I noticed that he was shaking his head very vigorously when I picked him up. He had NOT been doing this prior to his appointment, so I called the office to let them know immediately. They assumed that I was implying that I thought they had done something to his ears. I don't think they did anything to his ears, but I do know that he was not experiencing this issue prior to being dropped off. I mentioned this issue to the vet when she called with the results of his EKG, but told her at the time it seemed that the issue had subsided. He was placed on a round of antibiotics unsuccessfully for the coughing issue. He has continued shaking his head since, so I called again today and the customer service that I received was hostile at best. We have spent over $1k trying to get to the bottom of whatever the original issue is with our dog and it is still not resolved. He now has an additional issue that he is experiencing and I cannot help but feel a bit frustrated. Update: Dr. Unger did return my call and offer a complementary ear exam. We don't have any clear answers, but it is being suggested that these issues might be stemming from a variety of things such as bronchitis and allergies. He has been prescribed ear drops and a cough suppressant. We'll continue tackling this issue to see how we can keep Chester comfortable.

I found this to be a much better option! My dog feels much more comfortable because she is at home, and Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech, Javier, are both amazing. As I mentioned, I am disabled. I am visually impaired, so Dr. Anna, Kate and her vet tech took extra time to explain what they were doing in case I wasn't able to tell. They took extra time to tell me all of my different options to help my dog, who suffers from chronic allergies, and itches all the time. The cost of a checkup and the medication's are comparable to those of my local vet. The only additional charge is the travel fee. However, for me, it is definitely worth it because of the convenience. However, they also offer a program you can sign up for that helps to cover this cost. Dr. Anna Kate was kind enough to tell me a little about it during their visit today and I plan on looking into it. Dr. Anna, Kate, and Javier are both incredibly kind and compassionate and very professional. They answered all of my questions, and never once made me feel like they were rushing. They took their time with my dog, and we're very loving with her. I highly recommend this mobile vet service. You will not find two more compassionate and amazing people than Dr. Anna Kate and Javier! (I tried to take a selfie with them, but did not realize my phone was on portrait mode. So they appear kind of blurry. Blind girl problems!)

I work from home and wanted to get her seen as soon as possible. When I opened vet pronto, I was able to schedule an appointment the same day (!) and soon after I chose a time, got a phone call asking to take a picture of my cats records to send via email, which are now available to me on the free vet pronto app. Then I was sent information about the upcoming visit and the veterinarian bio. Dr. Johnny arrived to see my cat later that morning and made me feel so much more at ease about everything that was going on with her. He was easy to talk to, answered all of my questions, gave my cat a thorough exam and was able to administer the medications she needed right on the spot. The one medication he didn't have, he picked up himself and dropped off to my apartment the same day. He gave me pointers on how to make her feel better in addition to the actual medications and genuinely made me feel like the whole thing was something I could handle, and my new kitten could too. He walked through my bill with me before any charges were made, recommended an excellent pet insurance company, and followed up with me multiple times to check on the health of my kitten. She's freakin awesome now, thanks to him. Our next visit was a wellness exam and he, again, went above and beyond what I would ever expect from a veterinarian appointment. Though i initially thought it might be weird having someone come to my apartment, it wasn't weird AT ALL. If you have a kitchen counter, you're good to go. It saved me so much time, my cat so much stress, and was hands down the most attention I've ever had a pet receive at a vet appointment... Ill never use another veterinarian "office" again. I highly recommend vet pronto, and more importantly, Dr. Johnny!
