During 2020, I'm learning and trying as hard as I can NOT to get my panties in a bunch for stupid shit. It's just not worth it. So that's why I'm writing this review! Here is what has been done so far: 2005 Volvo XC90 A/C Compressor Wheel Bearing Brake Booster Master Cylinder 2016 Subaru Crosstrek A/C Evaporator Core and Expansion Valve So A/C work on two cars and the A/C has been fixed now for over 6 months and still blowing very cold! He looked at the car the same day and we arranged repair which initially would have been very costly. To my surprise, when I picked up my vehicle I was told that the replacement of the A/C was not necessary but only needed a new valve. It cut that repair down to less than half. STAY AWAY !!!! DISHONEST. RUDE. LIAR. don't even bother asking if you can bring your own parts bc he WILL SCREW YOU CHARGE YOU FOR WORK HE NEVER DOES! it's funny how all the bad reviews for this place are not shown. BC that's how I choses this guy. I thought he had decent reviews and boy way I wrong. We came to him with and over heating SUV. He said we had a hole in the radiator and needed a thermostat and a radiator. we asked him if we could bring in our own parts. We asked first because we didn't want to assume and my family has an account with a parts store and why would we pay double for something we don't have to. Monday: we brought it in it was fixed in a day and we live three miles away. when driving home the meter started going up but we didn't think much maybe it just had to adjust. We drove it some more and it started overheating. Tuesday: So the next day I dropped it off @ 10 am ; also asked him to changed the oil. When I went to pick it up at 5 he said " he didn't get a change to change the oil." REALLY?? you had the car over 7 hours and couldn't find the time to change the oil???!!! Also said "nothing was wrong with the car." " It's NOT overheating with me" So we took it back . Wednesday: We didn't drive it Thursday: I brought it in again and he said " if you don't make an appointment then I can look at your car whenever i want. make a appointment and it will be looked at in that time." So it sat there all day and again he said "he can't find anything" (Saturday) We drove maybe 6 miles and the car started bubbling, overheating and smoking at 11am, we called him AGAIN and he said to call him Monday to make a appointment. Monday: we dropped it of @ 7:15 am locked the doors for our 9AM appt and left the key on the tire. Apparently the keys feel and he said that "he couldn't find them so he couldn't look at the car." I think he was just making shit up. He said he had to climb under the car to get the keys and that didn't happened until 2 pm...... WHAT HAPPENED TO THE 9AM APPOINTMENT???!!!! Well I believe this all happened bc we brought our own parts. we had to bring it somewhere else and they took out the thermostat and said OUR THERMOSTAT WAS NEVER CHANGED!!!! so ANDY CHARGED US FOR WORK HE NEVER DID! I am reporting him to BBB and going to give him one chance to fess up and give us our $$ back. Otherwise to the news I go. If anyone has had this problem please contact me. We need to make him learn that screwing people isn't how you do business. read more

So I bought a used starter at O'Reillys thinking it would be cheaper and I can put it in myself which I did but the part turned out to not work after 30 minutes of use so i had to get my car towed to Andy's where I pretty much did everything over the phone bc of work related things, he fixed my car and put a new starter in , in a few hours unreal very very reasonable price also. This was my third time seeking service with Andy's Auto Shop in over a year. And each time he's given the best and most honest inspection of my car. This last visit he actually saved me nearly $1000 on a misdiagnosed "Blown head casket" from a commercial retail auto place.. Which we'll just call them by their initials..TP Ironic, yes! He found the problem for the cars overheating was caused by a leaky water pump and not the head gasket. Turned a $1375 job into a $450 one. Thank you Andy! I had a headlight out on my Hyundai Santa Fe. I had trouble getting it out to replace. A friend of mine has told me over and over again about this awesome mechanic who does fantastic work and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. So I called him and asked for the number. Andy told me to bring the car in and he would take care of it. Turns out I had two bulbs that had to be replaced in the front and one in the back. The price was unbelievably so low you wouldn't believe me if I told you. I will definitely be seeing him for any other car repairs that I need. He and his daughter are both extremely nice. And when you're in there don't forget to say hi to the huge puppy on the couch LOL! read more

I love this place. Andy and his daughter always take care of me. I dropped off my truck without their knowledge one morning and that was rude of me but I said it was okay if they didn't get to it until the next day as I understood and I had another vehicle I could use. To my surprise, she called me the same day in the afternoon letting me know my truck was done and this place is just awesome. They quoted me $1K for a timing chain job on my truck that I was prepared to do but Andy called me saying it wasn't necessary and that she sounded great for it's age. Anybody else woulda cash grabbed and done it at twice the price Andy quoted me. That's when I knew I found a good and honest mechanic. He's done my AC, a condenser replacement, my spark plugs and I'm planning on some more work. Thank you Andy and your daughter for always taking care of me! I'm so sorry for not knowing your name, I don't think I ever caught it but you're very sweet and always provide 10/10 customer service. A bit chaotic and spicy language-wise (it's a car repair shop!) but, when I stopped by to see why I got "check coolant level" on my dash, Andy found the reason right away and filled the coolant back up in my radiator without charging. Don't waste your time arriving at 8am on a Saturday. Although you may have scheduled an appointment, and although the sign on the front door says they open at 8, I waited for over an hour since it was the only time I was available, and I've given up. Who knows when the next time will be that I can get this taken care of, but apparently Andy's Auto doesn't care about new and future business enough to show up to work and honor appointments. Initially we had a great experience with Andy. Very helpful and does work for a decent price. However, Andy is a bullshitter. The last time that I brought my van to him for the serpentine belt to be replaced I asked him to check my wheel hubs as I knew the bearing to be going bad. He did. He gave me a price and asked if I wanted them done. I told him that at this point I did not have the money and that I may be able to get help from a buddy to replace them as I am very limited on funds. His price was $220 a side. I was able to buy my parts, plus rotors and pads for the same price and put them on with help from my friend. Nothing against Andy, but I just couldn't afford it at that point. Fast forward to today. My van is acting up. It is old and needs a lot of work. I explained to him what was going on. Told him thanks for the help before and also mentioned that I took care of the wheels myself. He goes on to tell me that that is a problem. Basically he didn't get the job or my money before for the wheels and that he doesn't want my business now and not to worry about bringing my van in. Completely unprofessional. But when you are there, he is your best friend and talks shit about other customers. read more

a misunderstanding led to another temper flare up with andy when i brought my vehicle in he asked if i was the guy with the brake pads i understood him referring to my request for installing brake pads and replied yes.20 some odd minutes later he said my guy tore your car apart looking for the pads where are they long story short he had to close up for a mandatory 1.5 hour lunch, slapped my brakes back together. when i got on 95 something was very wrong with the front end .day 2 found new mechanic who informed me that the spindle that recieves one of the caliper bolts was stripped out hmmm wonder how that happened and that both my motor mounts should be replaced.andy just replaced them not long ago.he is a superior mechanic just ask him all i can say is if your lucky he wont bite your head off. read more
