The spring on our garage door snapped and our door was stuck in the open position. The company we previously used wasn't returning our calls (24 hr company). The guy my son used unfortunately was booked solid and wouldn't be able to come out until the next day. He suggested a few things to my husband to try and get the door down without doing damage, but they didn't work. So we were forced to try someone we were unfamiliar with. My husband contacted A-All Style before I could check the reviews on Yelp. I was a little nervous because most of the reviews were several years old. Not many were current. After our experience with Chuck (who was professional & friendly), I wanted to make sure there was another current review. So here we go .... My husband called them around 9:45AM and after explaining our situation, the gentleman said he would have someone out between Noon and 2:00PM. Chuck arrived at 11:45AM. Wow! Talk about service! We were pleasantly surprised that someone was able to come out that soon. Yes, I realize it was luck, but I still appreciated it. Chuck told us what the problem was and priced us upfront, parts and labor included and told us that payment could be Cash or Check. After agreeing to the price (which was very reasonable), Chuck got to work and the job was done within 30 minutes or so. Amazing experience! Woke up to a broken garage spring on a Saturday. Found their number on my garage door opener from the previous owner, and gave them a call. Joe was over within the hour and had the spring repaired within 20 mins! Very fair price compared to what I've seen online. Had contacted this company before for an adjustment. Chuck didn't charge me anything but I gave him $20 for lunch. Few years later need adjustment due to new seal I installed. I had to call day of appointment to see what time he was coming. On his way.. Got to my home adjusted the garage door in less than 10 min..$125. Cash or check only. (Who has cash like that sitting around). Had to go to the bank as I only had $60. They followed me there to the bank. Called the company on the way to the bank for a discount.... told me that due to Covid, steel increase, wood increase, gas, payroll and travel expenses is the reason why price went up!! And that they will be going up again. Had same service in Nevada last month $60. The Bolingbrook company is less than a mile from my home, He used a screwdriver to adjust my garage door, didn't need any material and didn't lube my door(did it last week). We decided to replace an old wood door and garage door opener. We had a few different estimates, one being from A All Style. Randy came out and did the measurements, let me know what type of doors they had and which garage door openers they installed as well. The brochure had a drawing of almost every combination you can imagine for the door style and windows. I had to to play with it a bit for what my wife was actually looking for but that was because of what she had in mind for handle placement as well as the decorative hinges. Needless to say, we choose A All Style and Randy stopped by and put the order together with us and answered any question we had prior to completing the order. A few weeks later the door arrived and we went ahead and setup a time to have his son install the door. His son, Joe, arrived early in the morning just before the scheduled time and got right to it. I was surprised it was just him, but he seems to know what he's doing so I left it to him. He got the old garage door removed, checked with us to make sure the handles were going where we wanted them, got things all setup and then the final touch of adding the decorative hinges - again he made sure he was putting where we wanted them. Once everything was installed, I setup the code and he went over everything with me and answered my questions about maintenance. He had the area cleaned up and was on his way and the wife and I stood outside admiring our new garage door. It did make a much better improvement than I had thought it would and adding the windows has really made a difference when I need to run out the garage to get something. It's your house and garage, it doesn't hurt to get an estimate from them and review your options - Randy provided a lot of information and recommended a door based on our house and garage style (we have an unheated attached garage with no living space above it). read more

This is the garage door company you want! Our garage door wouldn't go all the way up. We looked for any obstructions but couldn't find anything. I called because I had used them before and was very happy with their service. The representative asked me if I needed it right away and thankfully I told him no I could wait until the next day if need be. It was snowing that day and so I figured they would be busy. He told me he'd call back if he could have someone out that day. About a half an hour later I got a call that a technician would be out in an hour. In an hour as promised Chuck showed up. He was able to get the door to go up but noticed the mechanism that controlled the door going up was installed almost 20 years ago! He explained that it wouldn't break that week but it would need replacing. The price quoted was very fair and he said he could do it right then and there. Then the problem was we have a non working car in our garage and he said he needed both cars out. So I said I'd call when we could get that car out. Chuck came back in 5 minutes and said he could do it anyway. I was so grateful that he was willing to work around our problem. He did the job so fast and I'm happy because it's an upgraded system and the door is so quiet now. This was my second great experience with this company and I highly suggest them. read more

We bought a home in December 1996 and A-All Style installed a new Chamberlin opener. They worked with us on a time and day that fit our busy schedule. They were prompt on their arrival and had the opener installed quickly, neatly. The installer took the time to explain all the features and operating instructions. As the weather changed and our concrete shifted the door wouldn't stay closed. I called and explained and they were here within an hour to make the adjustments. A few years later we purchased a new garage door. Randy the owner came out, measured the opening and recommended we get an insulated door. Due to the size the door was special ordered and was installed within a week. We are so pleased with the workmanship and promptness. They stand behind their products and installations. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS... unless you make sure not to cancel. The guys showed up 1/2 hour early and I forgot to cancel my appointment. When I called the owner Randy to apologize for my mistake, as I did not have a chance to clean out the garage yet so they could work, he flew off the handle and cussed me out over the phone. Customer service is obviously not a priority here and if you treat potential customers, or just people in general in this manner, I'm not sure how you're in business at all. People have bad days, we all do but that is never warranted. On top of it, one of his workers cussed my wife out and then flicked her off on his way out of the driveway (while she was holding my 2 year old nonetheless). I priced around and someone else came out and said I just needed a plate for my garage door. Didn't need the tune up. Which I spent money on that. Called on a Sunday afternoon, told them we can't open the garage door and described the spring we have. They could come out Monday at 8:30 AM. They show up on time and even before looking at the door, give us a price of $325 to replace the spring with an exposed type instead of the encased Torquemaster that was broken. I researched this a bit before they showed up and going this route (back to exposed springs) instead of replacing the Torquemaster seemed like a good idea. Two guys showed up at first, then a third came some time later. The work was completed in about an hour. So far, so good. We were happy with their work. read more
