What a perfect little brewing in Indian Rocks Beach! The beertenders were friendly and helpful in choosing from their extensive taplist. Appreciate that they have small pours and flights available so you can try multiple things. I tried a sour, a hazy IPA, a brown ale, and a German lager, all very good beers! The guava sour was nice and tart. The hazy IPA was citrusy and had a nice mouth feel. They had football on the projector and I believe they have food available as well. On a whim, stopped here for something cold on a hot day. It's located in a strip mall so I wish they were their own stand alone place because I loved the ambience and the service we received. When you walk in they have the brewery in the back and brick on the walls giving it a cool vibe. Tvs surround the bar so you can catch your favorite game while enjoying some of their awesome brews. Another great time at Anecdote Brewery. This time, we joined a full brewpub to watch the U.S. men's soccer team advance to the knockout stage of the 2022 World Cup, beating Iran 1-0 at Al Thumama Stadium on Tuesday. Talk about lots of fun, lots of people of all ages, good Brazilian food and great craft beer! I had the order of three crust covered sausages (mini hotdogs) served with a nice mustard. My guy ordered the Picanha, which is a cut of beef first made popular in Brazil, and later adopted in Portugal. (In the United States, the cut is little known and often named top sirloin cap, rump cover, rump cap, or culotte.) French fries were served alongside. The food was being prepared yo order n the rear of the brewery and it came out quickly and hot. We enjoyed an IRB IPA, On the Verge, and an Ale for ALS ($1 was donated to ALS for each Ale for ALS purchased). The Ale for ALS is a farmhouse IPA which was peppery, funky and tropical all at the same time. Love coming to this brewery to see everyone and to have excellent beer. read more

We love this place. The bartenders are so friendly and sweet. My husband got some to go Pines and preferred the IPAs hands-down over some of the other. I don't drink alcohol, and even I felt like I could enjoy myself. Plenty of non-alcoholic options, including Kombucha. I had it on St Paddy's day and it was key lime. Delicious. We had been meaning to check out this new brewery that opened up in Indian Rocks Beach and we couldn't be more thrilled that we finally decided to go. Here are my ratings based on different criteria: Quality of beer: Excellent. We tried their One the Verge IPA which is their flagship IPA, Whipser which is their specialty ale. We also tried two of their ciders: The apple pie and pineapple. Everything was served cold and tasted like perfection. The ciders were especially surprising since they weren't overly sweet or overly dry. I believe they were also selling hot dogs and chips but we didn't try that as we were only thirsty not hungry :) Decor: modern/chic. It felt like this place could be in downtown St Pete. It had a really cool and hip mural of a baby and mama manatee on the wall. The space felt very open and refreshing. They also had a projector showing funny video clips. Outside, they have 4 or so tables well spaced apart and colorful chairs to sit on under a tent canopy. Cleanliness: good. Their unisex bathrooms were exceptionally clean. Service: good. They let us sample any of their beers and the bar staff was friendly and welcoming. Price: typical. Most of their beers and ciders are either $6 or $7. If you're doing a beach day and want some quality beer after (or before) a day on the beach, come to Anecdote for some of the best beers you can taste from a microbrewery on Gulf Blvd. read more

If you like craft beer you have to visit. They have a selection that can satisfy many whether you like IPA's (that's me), sours, lagers, etc., they offer plenty to savor. I also appreciate that they serve food not just bags of chips and popcorn but food such as dogs, cheese fries and the like. My husband and I have been meaning to come here for some time now, as this is one of the only breweries you can go to on Gulf Boulevard in Pinellas County. You might miss it if you're driving past Crabby Bill's, but it's situated in the same plaza as Surf Style. The brewery's interior is expansive and they also offer outdoor seating. On the menu, there are a variety of beers from sours, to fruited ales, to IPAs, a blonde, a nitro stout, etc. We opted to do a couple of flights (currently $2.75 per 5 ounce pour). It was super easy to walk up, write on the chalkboard flight paddle/beer, and order at the counter. The staff were very friendly as well. We enjoyed most all the beers we had, with our favorites being the IPAs and black lager. The art and vibe of the interior is cool. They have a large screen with a projector, so this would be a great place to watch something on the big screen or come to for trivia. Pints are $6-7 and they also offer beer to go. Brand new baby brewery in IRB! Somehow this snuck in without being on our radars but I spotted it while driving to get dinner at the next plaza over so, of course, we had to stop in. Due to all the COVID-19 restrictions, they do have temporary outdoor seating to allow for social distancing and more patrons than the inside would allow and do have the plexiglass up at the ordering area. Please note and understand, that due to restrictions, though they do have a few seats at the bar, you must go over and order from the ordering window but then you can sit where you find an open seat of your choice. They are also using plastic cups currently, which is in line with 95% or more of all other local breweries and a lot of restaurants that also are using plasticware. I have zero issues with any of this as with the establishments following the rules and even going above and beyond are allowing them to remain open and for us to visit and support our local businesses! I ordered the Pina Colada Sour but I do have to say that though I found the notes of the Pina Colada, it does not have the properties of a sour. I love anything coconut and I love sours so I was very surprised when I took my first drink and it finished like a berliner or even an IPA vs a tart sour. Ben got the IRB IPA and it was exactly as it should be and we got a small taster of the Florida Snow, which is a tropical pale ale. As they are brand new, we will of course be back to try more and see what their next batches bring to the IRB area! read more

On a September Sunday afternoon it was packed with a young crowd - seemed all the generations were represented except ours. As Ernesto Blindfish from SpongeBob says: "TOO LOUD!!!". What an incredible experience here today! We tried 4 different beer flights, with all different beers, they were all incredible, and fresh. Worth the price and experience.
