This was a great place to stop after day at the beach. A stone throw away from the parking lot and right on the beach....well across the street anyway! Service was prompt and server was very friendly. They have canned soft drinks and bottled water so no refills here!! The atmosphere was enjoyable with good background music but the chairs have a very narrow seat made for someone less than 100lbs!! Really those are the most comfortable seats available? Food was good. I had the honey chicken Mac and cheese. Plenty of noodles but a bit short on the chicken for the price. The dish was excellent!! I was full when I left. Mostly thanks to the noodles. The Gouda cheese was not bad, usually not a fan. A must stop after a day at the beach

I really enjoyed my visit to bad things on a Wednesday evening. They only have outdoor seating right across from the beach. When we dined there was a guy doing live cover songs and he was a total vibe! I was there with a large group from work so we were able to commandeer our own little section. Conner took care of our entire group of about 14 people and he did not miss a beat. I really enjoyed the street corn ribs equally tasty and creative. I had the crab and shrimp creamy enchilada and boy was it creamy. Almost to the point where I couldn't really enjoy all the flavors. The nacho trio was ordered as an appetizer and the queso guac and salsa were all quite good. I enjoyed my turquoise turtle cocktail. I'm not sure if that's the right name but it was yummy. I would not hesitate to come back to this establishment.

Fun little spot right by the beach. Limited seating so you might have to wait a bit. I ordered the oyster po boy and a very extravagant pina colada. Oyster Po Boy: This was just ok. Wish I had ordered something else. Extremely salty and basically had no remoulade sauce. Fries and coleslaw were great though! "Bad Ass Pineapple" Pina Colada: This was fun. Served in a hollowed out pineapple. Lot of various fruits for the garnish. Unfortunately, the pina colada its self was not great. Odd medicinal flavor. I'd probably order a beer next time. Overall, fun spot. I think I just ordered the wrong items. I'll come back for the tacos next time.

You can't reserve online so fortunately we walked to the host stand and were sat right away. The host was a bit rude when I asked if there were other tables available that were not high tops! All seating is outside only just an fyi, I was a little cold even with the heaters turned on but we did enjoy the sunset view. The steak nachos were delicious, the hush puppy grouper was also delicious I do wish it was bigger lol. The pineapple drink was perfect, they brought the extra drink mixture in a side cup to refill my drink :)

Visited here on a Monday night an got a table right away. All tables are outside and right near the beach. The service was very friendly, and the app we ordered was amazing. The only thing is that our beers were warm, so they weren't that great. Live music was a nice touch.

If you can get their during sunset it'll be really beautiful. It's outside seating only and they sometimes have live music which is incredibly loud so you will not be abke to hold a conversation. Overall this place is kind of gimicky and makes for a good Instagram picture, but the food and drinks were mediocre for the price. Our waitress was really good and always made sure to check on us. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it tasted like it was fried in very old oil. I thought it had pickles on top, but it tasted like slices of squash. My husband got the lobster mac which was super cute to take a picture with, but just ok I'm terms of taste. We also got the drinks in the pineapple which were nice to look at but so heavily full of cream it was a bit too much for me. Maybe if I was a little younger and ok with the calories I would have enjoyed it more. Overall I'm glad we checked it out, but it's not really the vibe I'm looking for.

We came for dinner last night with a group of six, though only five of us ate. With drinks and appetizers, the bill came to $315 before tip, which felt a bit high for the overall experience. The view is good for sunset and the live music made up for some of the rest. The tacos were tasty but on the smaller side for the price. For appetizers, the corn rib was surprisingly good and ended up being the least expensive item we ordered. We also tried the pork belly special, which was solid, along with the grouper nuggets, which were very good. We ordered the trio as well--the beer queso was a hit with the table, but the guac was just okay and had a slightly off taste. Drinks overall tasted good, but service was an issue. Our waitress was very slow, and our food arrived before our drinks, which wasn't ideal. Another downside was that they don't offer tap or filtered water--only bottled water. Overall, the food had some highlights, but the pricing and service didn't quite match expectations. I'd give it a 3.5 out of 5.

The Big Bad Pina Colada at Bad Fins Food & Brew

5 out of 5 I recently had an outstanding dinner at Bad Fins Food & Brew in Clearwater Beach, and it deserves every bit of a five‑star rating. Torn between two tempting options, I went with my server's recommendation--the seafood chimi--and it was absolutely the right call. The chimi was delicious and generously packed with shrimp and hearty chunks of fish. The accompanying guacamole had a distinctive smoky note that set it apart. It may be the best guacamole I've ever had. My drink, the Big Bad Piña Colada (non‑alcoholic), arrived in a pineapple and was as fun as it was flavorful. Sipping it while watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico made the evening feel almost cinematic. Service was attentive and friendly, and the live band added to the atmosphere. The lead singer was having such a great time performing White Rabbit by Jefferson Airplane that she sang it twice in a row, and the crowd loved it. Bad Fins delivered excellent food, great service, and a memorable experience. I will be back.

The location could only be better if it were on the 2nd/3rd floor. The seating, live music, we were so excited to eat beach side. The Trifecta Appetizer real good, could have used more chips for the amount of dip. Had our waitress came by after she dropped it off within 20 minutes we would have asked. The Turquoise Turtle Drink was amazing, wanted to order another, but we couldn't get anyone to stop for us. The hostess walked by and we asked for some help and she said, "1 moment, I will be right back" ... never came back. When we finally ordered our food, the kitchen was out of the Cavatelli pasta for the Mac N Cheese. That was a little disappointing, however it helped me decide on the Surf and Turf Tacos. I ordered mine with corn tortillas and slaw. One young lady in my party ordered the same thing with French fries. My soon to be DIL ordered the Birria Tacos-- Lawdy, I don't guess it's a smart idea when you are from Texas and Mexican and eat those tacos on the regular to order them in Clearwater. Even I, who am not a connoisseur of Birria Tacos looked at her plate and was upset for her. Ok, so beach side eats can be a hit and miss. We ordered our food and it came out over 30 minutes later. We had no one stop by and ask if we needed anything. When I go my food, it was cold. Not Luke warm, cold to the touch. When the waitress that we hadn't seen since ordering our food came by, I told her and said do t worry about getting me another one. She insisted, then brought me a plate in less than 10 minutes. Wrong tortillas, steak on the taco was diced up, the lobster was diced small. The young lady with me at least had full actual bite size pieces of lobster. I would usually give places like this another try, however there are so many other places to try.

Amazing service from Jim and his recommendation for the Primo Carne Asada was spot on! Out of this world!

This would have been a 3 star review had the process of being seated gone better. The hostesses seemed to have no idea what was going on and just kept walking away without any acknowledgement. Meanwhile a line was forming on the sidewalk. Worst part was, they were not even that busy, plenty of open tables! That part was frustrating. Once we were seated, our server was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was pretty average, we had grouper tacos and a sandwich. Good, just not anything that memorable. I will say, the patio tables are small and the chairs are awful, who's butt can actually fit comfortably on those stools?! This place will stay busy because of the location right across from the beach but I won't go out of my way to return.

3.50- located on Clearwater beach! My friend and I had been drinking on the beach all morning we found this place and decided to get more drinks and a shot! We were told we could just go down to the bar to order directly. It took almost 30 minutes to order and another 30 minutes to get two drinks and a shot! I'm not sure why this place is SO DISORGANIZED--- but I would not recommend it! We finally got our frozen drinks and shots and they were good. But not worth waiting an hour. Also the woman who checked us out was clearly in a bad mood and was being extremely short with us.

I also got a nice pint glass from their merch. I found myself wishing that they had more canned and bottled beers to take with me, since there were a couple beers I really liked in my flight that I had no way to take home (since they told us they don't do growlers/crowlers). I was a little disappointed in the service here. The bartender barely acknowledged us, and then when two regulars walked in they had their full attention. I still like their beer, but I don't see another good reason to visit this place in person again. Their location is really nice, and I'm sure that it's nice to watch the sunset from while sipping a beer, so that's probably the only reason I'd go back.

3 Daughters Brewing is a massive and lively spot, even if the beer itself isn't really my thing…read more That said, they do offer a huge selection of drinks beyond beer, and the RTDs are typically my go to when I'm here. You'll find beers, ciders, vodka based seltzers, wine, and frozen drinks. There is no liquor for on site consumption, but they did recently release their own whiskey, which is actually pretty decent for the low price point. The venue is enormous, with a large warehouse style space that hosts live music. The acts are usually solid, and when there's a headliner, the place gets absolutely packed. The table games scattered around are a nice touch, and during the holidays the owners put up a custom miniature train display that's a big hit with kids. That said, there are some downsides. When the hops are really going, the smell can be rough, and during peak summer months it gets hot and humid as all hell, even with all the fans running. The food is also pretty underwhelming. Most items come with a side of chips. The burger is fine and probably the best thing on the menu, but don't bother with the tacos. They're very basic and the meat is usually overdone. Another major issue is the bathroom situation. The lines are painfully long almost all the time. For a place this big, the bathroom setup feels incredibly inefficient. The women's line is almost always backed up, and even the men's line gets long during busy hours. I also miss some of the old perks. Bartenders used to hand out drink tokens for buy backs, and there was a $10 charity donation wheel spin where you could win free stuff. Those days are long gone, which is a bummer since it added a little fun gambling element with your drinks. Despite some of the drawbacks, this is still one of my favorite places to visit. The bartenders are cool, the crowd is generally chill, and the overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can fill up quickly, but there's a large grassy area in the back that usually saves the day. Overall, it's a solid hangout spot for live music and variety. I just wished they'd improve the quality of food, and at least fix the bathroom situation. Don't mind the food photos, I got hangry!

I found the restaurant while I was still deciding on what hotel we were going to stay at and then just so happened to choose the Wyndham Grand (which was also amazing but that's a different story). I was very pleasantly surprised to see them hand us a discount card at check in which got us 10% off on our meal here - even better! I booked us an outdoor table at 5 pm hoping we'd have a perfect view of the sunset. And, well, the attached pictures speak for themselves! It was really gorgeous, beautiful atmosphere and our waiter was great. The meal started with some complimentary edamame which is always a plus. My girlfriend ordered the scallops which were so good, as well as an order of sashimi which is not my personal preference but she was visibly in heaven. I ordered a spicy tuna roll and two kamikaze rolls which were specifically recommended by our waiter (although to be honest I would've ordered it anyway - shrimp tempura and spicy lobster, it doesn't get better than that). No exaggeration, it was the best sushi roll I've ever had. If I go back, I'm just going to order three of them and call it a night. Long story short, I was optimistic about this place but didn't really know what to expect, and it managed to exceed all expectations.
