My hair situation: flat, lifeless, and a previous stylist in Seattle had somehow given me a blunt length cut after I explicitly asked for a ton of layers. I have basically zero attachment to my hair - I would happily walk out with a mullet - so when a stylist actually listens during the consultation it makes a real difference. Hazel asked the right questions and the result showed it. Dry cut, tons of layers, styled dry so I could see the shape come together in real time. Walked out with volume I didn't know my hair was capable of. The salon is a nice airy space with big windows, way more relaxed than your average spot.
