My tattoo artist was Daniel he was fantastic. It took about 5 1/2 hours. I watched Harry Potter as he was doing it. The vibe of the place was fantastic. I will recommend this place to anybody and everybody.

My sweet little Dala horse was transformed into some kind of collie. Went in for the $40 (plus tip) tattoo day for a deal, but am now looking into the cost of tattoo removal. The tattoo artist, John, didn't look at the picture I showed him and seemed to play connect the dots rather than take my touch up seriously. Super bummed.

Came in with just initials, mentioned the concept of adding a bird and Matt was able to create this amazing piece!

Falcon is completely unprofessional. Bad talks the other artists and students and creates an uncomfortable atmosphere with how he talks behind peoples backs. Gets away with it because he is the owners husband. Expected more from an instructor and resident artist I once looked up to. In response to Shawna, he talked behind my back. He often mocks people and makes them feel inferior. that's not a straight shooter, that's just rude as a human. When either of you are confronted, you claim it's everyone else with the problem and don't stop to see the part you play. Many people feel uncomfortable coming to you and I just wish for this to change so badly. read more

I have needed tattooed eyebrows for decades. I've had several people do them as I've moved around, but NOBODY has created such perfect, beautiful eyebrows for me than Shawna! I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone who might be worried about how to get such an important feature on your face right - she just seems to have a natural feel for the proper arc, thinckness and balance - this is amazing to me after all these years! And I would've paid top scary dollar for this, but bless her, her rate is the lowest I can ever remember, she's not interested in gouging people. Incredible. read more

Everyone there was very friendly and professional, all cheering each other on, and the shop was clean and well kept. It feels like a nice part of town too. Matt did both of ours - and he is truly fantastic! I came in wanting initials and came out with something way better. I got the tattoo in October and there are already parts that are fading and the lines are uneven. Okay I'm joking about the Maori tattoo, but this is a serious review because there are some questions we all ask ourselves before we take the leap and choose an artist. In fact, you're probably looking at Angel Ink on Yelp because you're wondering, "Will they listen to what I want to express" and "Do they have the talent to help me show the world that expression?" The answer to those questions would be a resounding "Absolutely! Get over there now." We're so lucky in Oregon City to have Angel Ink right in the heart of our downtown. This has been a looooong time ago but the year of 2013 I got my eye brows tattooed on there by the owner and a flower tattoo with dragonflies on my left leg and they borh were awesome . I can't remember the owner's name but she was really nice ! She made me feel welcomed the only reason I'm reviewing this is I'm thinking about getting my daughter's ears pierced and going back there !!! read more

Great artist but the inside is a little sketchy. There are 8 bays and one bathroom. Kind of reminds me of a public restroom yellow on a bad plaster job with a teal trim, not to mention the butterflies and fairy stuff hanging from the ceiling. The artist and work is great if you can get passed the decor and paint. This place would be happening if they cleaned it up and modernized it. Better than a basement but barely. read more

My wife and I went to get a aniversary tattoo on our wrists. They weren't centered, the lines looked like a kid coloring outside the lines. The ink bubbles and faded almost immediately. Never even bothered to go back for touch up just went to another shop for a redo read more

I called today and spoke to Shawna the owner of this establishment, she was pretty busy today but she made time for my daughter and I to come in and get tattoos. She did a fantastic job and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable, safe and welcome. I would highly recommend this establishment if you're in the market for a tattoo or piercing. read more

Awful experience. They had a promotion running that if you paid $100 or more they would match it in credit. so I gave my $100 and tried multiple attempts to schedule a session after canceling 3 or more times the tattoo artist, Thomas told me to "not freak out about it because it was only a $100". The money isn't the problem to tell someone who paid you to do a job that it's no big deal you are stealing any amount of money from them is completely outrageous!! read more

I just got a tattoo from Shawna, the owner of the shop and could not be happier! She was great to work with in creating the design, and created a stencil that fit my taste and my budget. On the day of, she was friendly, welcoming and was very attentive during the tattoo (it was on my ribs and was very painful!) The energy of the shop was very positive and friendly as well, and clean! Violet at Angel Ink is the best. I reviewed the other artists' work, and decided on Violet for her lovely line work. I went in for my very first tattoo today, shortly after turning 60 (my birthday present to me!). She was very gentle, explained the whole process to me and was very concerned for my comfort level. She also made sure to tell me of the after care needs of my tatt, and told me she had a 90 day "fix-it" policy. A really, really nice person, and if I ever get another tattoo, I'll be getting it from her. I wish I could post a pic of my tattoo! read more

Tattoo. SUPER CLEAN PLACE and I didn't have to drive to Portland! What a nice find... in Oregon City went in and got the tattoo. They were very nice and not intimidating like another shop near there... f'ers. The tattoo looks great, healed fast and now I'm ready to show it off for the summer. Nick Pederson took my deposit then disappeared! Several texts, calls and emails- everything from a polite check in to an angry demand- no response. No wonder he moves around a lot! I can't speak to the studio in general but I would trust Nick with $1 let alone my ink. read more

This place is a horrible rip-off! My artist was not an artist at all. She did a terrible job and she won't even fix it. The owner admitted it was not right but was not willing to fix it and now I'm left with a half-finished and off center tattoo. What a terrible and disappointing experience. The only way to make this look better is to get it removed. read more

i went here for a simple wrist tattoo and got it from jason he went to deep into my skin and the ink faded out badly which i could of dealt with but when i had gotten the tattoo he offered free touch ups for the next 3 months and i tried to get a hold of him to get a touch up sense it had faded so badly and he said he would check his books and he never got back to me and i tried several... finally i just went to another tattoo parlor sense the tattoo was in embarrassing shape read more

My hair was pretty damaged and so…read moreI set up an appointment for a haircut at first with the intention of also having a mini consultation. Devin was great, she went through some steps with me and from there we created a plan and well, here I am over 2 years later with long hair again, beautiful and healthy! She is also fun and I count her as a friend and look forward to my appointments. It was hard not to have my 'me' time with the shut down, however she offered curbside pickup on any product including root spray! Her shop is clean and super stylish with a great vibe. I couldn't recommend anyone more and appreciate her tons!

I first became familiar with Angel Ink Tattoo by serendipitously glimpsing a gallery of erotic models in a wellness center depicting tattoos to channel their inner goddesses. When inquiring about who the artist of these various, versatile tattoos were, my friend acknowledged an artist at Angel Ink Tattoo were the visionary behind them. Having pined a tattoo artist that specialized more in feminine, sensual expression as opposed to more of a tribal masculine or goth leaning (of which Angel Ink also specializes in! =) ) like I've observed most parlors heavily leaning toward..............it was a revelation to me, a happy accident, to finally find an artist that appealed to the kind of feminine expression and aesthetic I was seeking. Suddenly, I felt a rush..............and knew I had to make a bus trip to Oregon City within the next several days to see the parlor in person and see if it was truly all it was cracked up to be. And it absolutely is. Angel Ink is helmed by Shawna: an experienced artist of approximately fifteen years who is most qualified and licensed and has a penchant for all kinds of designs and aesthetics. But most importantly, her and the rest of the Angel Ink family are most affable and will make you truly feel at home and welcome from the consultation to the aftercare sermon. My first tattoo, which was created by Shawna, was about as comfortable and enjoyable an experience as I could ever ask for. I concede it may just be my body and skin type (I have a high pain threshold) but for me the session was completely pain-free and I found myself laughing and pleasantly sighing more than any interjection of discomfort. In-between injections of ink, we conversed like good friends much like in any other casual social setting, and aside from brief pauses in-between sentences to ensure the smoothest process, it felt more like catching up with a good friend more than anything. Fellow artists in the Angel Ink family also passed by and joined in on friendly conversations which made the afternoon ever more enjoyable and one I'll always cherish! =D Shawna answered each and every question I had lingering in the back of my mind with professionalism and confidence, she explained the aftercare most responsibly and eloquently, and now I have a proud butterfly and cherry blossom tattoo nestled on my lower torso that I'll forever proudly brandish with gratitude. Do yourself a favor and make two bus transfers over to Oregon City if you have to................and get your consultation today at Angel Ink. You will not regret it! ^__^ read more

My wife and I are mid 50s corporate types who decided a year or so ago to get our first tattoo. We visited many tattoo places. We were politely (and sometimes not so politely) shooed out of some; really offended by the lack of cleanliness of some; and one, where we paid for an appointment to discuss our plans with a tattooist (who was too busy to talk with us) we sat for 25 minutes waiting and listening to the staff drop F-bombs every third word. We had almost given up when we wandered in to Angel Ink. It was like walking into the home of an old friend! Shawna welcomed us, took time with us, set an appointment and was ready for us at the appointed time! Very attuned to our needs, professional and friendly, and the place is super clean without feeling at all sterile or hospital-like. And also, she's an excellent artist! We are thrilled with our tattoos, and plan to get more; but only at Angel Ink! Thank you, Shawna! read more

I am writing this review in regards to Bridget. WOW! What a hidden gem in downtown Oregon City. I have seen many tattoos and her work is comparable to some of the top artists working in Portland. I hope she stays in our neck of the woods! Humble, compassionate, and non judgmental. She will try her best to guide you in the right direction for your design without sounding condescending (like many tattoo artists do). Bridget is also a delight to be around and full of patience! I had to replace my tattoo stencil about 10 times (because I'm terrible at making decisions) and she showed no frustration, constantly reassuring me that its OK and to take all the time I needed. Super Nice people. Our son has been here twice and always gotten EXACTLY what he wanted. He posted pictures on his facebook and people gave him nothing but compliments. He went to Bridget. He said she was funny, nice and super talented. He was not nervous, as she helped him feel at ease. Although it hurt ( duh). She and the owner are an asset to the tattoo community. Not just for their Art/talent, they do good things outside of work ( volunteer their time, raise donations for those in need etc). We admire that. There shop is well kept too. Thanks for making our son's experience a good one. Highly recommend. read more

Angel Ink Tattoo school is a scam school. They take your money and do not teach you anything. I spent $13,000 at this Tattoo school and was taught how to tattoo on fake skin about once or twice the the instructor Falcon, multiple times has said sexual things to me and other students and another artist at this shop sexually assaulted me and I told the owner Shaunna about this situation and she did nothing and disregarded the whole situation. Falcon has lots of really disturbing charges against him. I would recommend saving your money and not coming to this Tattoo school.. read more

Angel Ink needs more stars! Unfortunately an incident with a former employee caused a couple one star reviews and brought their rating down. They definitely deserve 5 stars! I love this shop! Super clean, friendly atmosphere, and happy people. I have been tattooed by both Bridget and Zak, both of them are amazing with unique styles of their own. The owner Shawna is always super nice when I see her, and always smiling. This shop is perfect for those a little intimidated by the tattoo world, and perfect for regular tattoo fanatics! Jason G is not only an amazing artist, but has major dedication. He had already locked up and was turning the lights off ready to leave with his family when myself and my 2 best friends knocked on the door. He unlocked the door, welcomed us in and proceeded to help us with a design that all 3 of us were dying to get. He tattooed all of us until 11:30 at night. The work looked amazing, he gave us a great group deal, and he was very friendly and helpful. I'm ready to get my next tattoo and I won't go to anyone else. read more

What a great place to get quality Art. I highly recommend Bridget. In addition to wonderful Tattoos, she continues to raise the bar by offering her unique drawings, kind demeanor, and continued one on one support, when I can't make up my mind. :) I enjoy her use of color and the time she takes to make things "just right." I have had more than several tattoos done at this shop by Courtney and i can honestly say I love what she has done on me and others. I got my only color tattoo from a student named Ivan Jay and he killed it!! Love it so much I'm going back to him. He's very funny, can carry a conversation or just focus on the work. I love how friendly and approachable he is. He's licensed now and I'm going to get my next tattoo from him it's going to be a portrait of my daughter on my forearm. read more
