I have been going to this nail salon for years. The ladies are all very nice and have done a good job. I have a big toe that will not grow in. The female technicians have always been able to help me by putting in an acrylic nail. During a visit this summer the male technician did a horrible job and would not use acrylic and use some sort of gel instead. It came off in a week while the acrylics have lasted months. When I called and asked to be seen again and this time use acrylic, they refused me service and said I would need to go somewhere else. They insisted they could not help me. So I did go somewhere else and they did an amazing job, even though the male technician at Angel Nails told me it couldn't be done. I am very disappointed because I was a very good customer for a long time. read more

I love my nail lady Monica whenever I'm in this area, however yesterday I decided to treat myself to a pedicure and i might as well just thrown my money in the trash! A man named Kevin did my feet in plain water.. nothing on my cuticles prior to pushing them back if at that!! it felt like he was pretending to push back my cuticles on every toe but my big toe. I needed a pedicure and figured I would try this place out. Decent color selection for polishes and the prices are low ($30 for a pedicure). The prices being so low does make me worry about how well the staff is paid. The nail tech did an okay job, but nothing special. I usually go to a place in New Windsor that does a much better job - they actually massage your feet. She kind of rubbed my feet for about 30 seconds total for both. It has been a few hours and one nail is chipped. My toe looks like the polish isn't covering all of the way. I would happily pay more for a decent pedicure. read more

This is usually my go to nail salon. I just left and I think this may be the worst nail job I've ever had. The polish is patchy and uneven. I'm extremely disappointed since I don't get my nails done regularly this was a treat to myself and I'm trying to figure out how to fix my messed up nails now. I got a full set on my nails and I asked for just polish on my toes (since I prepped them at home) the full set was $60 but they charged $25 for just polish I should have just gotten a pedicure! Update: it's now Monday I had my nails done Thursday night the polish is already peeling and cracking the foil art is also peeling off already. Solid 2.5 rating for here. My favorite tech left a Middletown salon and I needed a last minute appointment and was referred to here. I saw all the reviews and though wow this place looks great. I got in with the owner and arrived 15 minutes early and was given to another person (w.e not a big deal all I asked for was a gel manicure with design and hoped I was being passed off to someone who could do that) I usually bring a Pinterest photo since I'd never been here I brought a simple sunflower on the ring finger the guy started my manicure and proceeded to cut my finger and not say anything about it. He painted my nails and they came out bumpy like if I had painted them myself, and he struggled with the flower and then chose to use cherry red for the petals, I told him I didn't like it and he was annoyed and took them off. He came back with foil press ons which cool but not what I was going for and not greatly executed pieces of fouls didn't transfer and it looks spotty. He didn't even use cuticle cream just lotion and messaged, the owner took a quick look and said very nice so I'm assuming this is what they put out. I know I got a last minuet appointment but I was there for an hour for a gel manicure with a design on one finger per hand. For $31 I'm not impressed. My one nail is like matte and dirty from the dust from taking off the red sunflower the one women pointed it out to him and he said something to her I didn't catch. I also had to go home and file my nails, they were very jagged and just not smooth. I guess it's back to searching for my go to place. read more

I am so upset at myself as I write this review! If you've read any of my previous nail reviews you know that I am new to Orange County, New York. I've been looking for a nail salon to call my very own for almost a year. I've had a few people tell me about Angel nails in Pine Bush and I never got around to going there. For that I'm kicking myself now because I absolutely love this place! My first time visiting I got a full set and pedicure and the level of customer service and the quality of the work done was the best I've found so far. My full set lasted a little over a month and by the time I went back on Easter weekend for a fill-in not one nail was lifting or chipped. That is a problem that I've had and every other shop I have gone to in the area. The work will look nice but it won't last. That is definitely not the issue with Angel nails. The owner prides her self on having all the latest nail trends, polishes and designs. If you want to have nails like Cardi B, you can get them here! If you like something a little more conservative, they can do that as well. That along with the fact that everyone is so pleasant here, I am making this might go to Cèlon from here on out. If you hate nail salons where it takes for ever to be serviced this is not the place! This is a terrible store to visit. The charge is extremely high and unreasonable. The work is very poor.

I had a really uncomfortable experience here with the gentleman who did my manicure. He kept making fun of how unkempt my nails were and laughing at my cuticles, I had been putting off getting my nails done to save money and time. He didn't even let me pick my color he asks me what color I liked and then pulled it out of his drawer. What was supposed to be a really relaxing day to treat myself turned into a nightmare and I left feeling worse than when I walked in. I had acrylics on that I wanted taken off to put a new set on. The lady used another acrylic nail to get in between my natural nail and the acrylic to separate them and pull them off my nails. I told her she was hurting me and she said she knows that it hurts but continued to still take them off that way. When she finished I realized that she had pulled off apart of my nail on my ring finger. She said that it was okay that we can still put the acrylic on top of my nail. I told her absolutely not I do not wanna put anything on my nails. I left with my nails throbbing from her ripping off the acrylics and a part of my nail taken off. This is not the first time that they hurt me. The last time I went there they cut my finger from the little sanding machine and my finger was bleeding. They continued to paint my nail and put that same polish back on the shelf. They are not sanitary and they don't know what they are doing nor do they care. I am very upset. I now have to wait a week or more for my nails to heal and it's been hours and my nails are still throbbing. I do not recommended going to them. read more

I will start with the fact that I have worked in a salon for hair and nail for over 25 yrs before moving To Pine Bush NY. I have had my nails done for over 30yrs and today was the first time in my life I walked out without tipping. I asked for a full set of tip with a natural curve, I got daggers. I said white acrylic not pink, I got pink. I ask for a french airbrush, He sprayed the whole nail white, and ask if that was good. after I said no I wanted french airbrush he pulled out the white nail polish bottle. Thats when I told him I was done and walk with no polish.By the way they open at 9:30 but 99% of them do not show up until they feel like it. read more

This used to be one of two manicure/pedicure locations in Pine Bush. Due to the price difference this was the only one I've used for the past 5 years. While not the best I've ever had it was more than acceptable. There seems to be a core group of about three women who have been there from the first, with many others coming/going. The last time I went I got someone who had never given me a pedicure before, but I recognized as one of the core group. While this was the shortest pedicure I've ever received from this location, it was the cut I received on my left big toe that has ended it all. Funny thing, I didn't even feel it at first - I was reading a magazine, and noticed she was spending a lot of time in one area. I looked down and saw a trickle of blood running down my foot (she was clipping dead skin near the top corner of my toenail). It bled off and on, and started becoming sore. I put down my magazine and just watched her for the rest of my session - SHE NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED OR ADDRESSED THE ISSUE. I left, went to my car, and it started to bleed again. I went back into the shop and showed them my toe and asked for a bandaid - I explained what happened (I was talking to another lady - another core group member). She gave me a tissue, and explained that they didn't have bandaids. Again, NO APOLOGY. I wasn't looking for a discount or a free pedicure - I just expected to be treated like a human being and be acknowledged! Again, everyone needs to understand I have gone to this establishment every 8 weeks or so for the past 5 years - while they don't say my name they definitely know me when I walk in the door.
