I'll be honest, I didn't realize that I had been going to Angel Nails for over two years now. These are some of them nails that they have done and I'll say I like intricate nails quite a bit. The girls there are super nice, they're always welcoming and even though I'm only go a few times a year they always remember my name. They also always have nail charms, diamonds and other accessories available. Even though in the past few years I've given them some intricate designs they have never said they can't do it, plus they always do a great job! Now I know sometime nails can fall off or something but I have never had a set of acrylic nails break or fall off. Before going on a 2 week Europe trip I had my nails done by them and they lasted the entire trip and longer, without any chips or breaking, mind you I was carrying a lot of luggage around. Now let's talk pedicures. They have a few different options for what you want, I personally struggle with callouses due to being on my feet and walking a lot, so I typically go for the higher end option. It is honestly worth every penny! They go above and beyond to somehow restore your feet to newborn feet. Not only does it look great but also feels great! They also make sure to give you the most amazing massage not just on your feet but also your calf's. Again worth every penny! Finally, I have gone during holiday season and they are so sweet, they have given me and my sister full size hand lotion. On top of that if you mention it's your birthday they will give you a $10 voucher/ coupon for your next visit and it does not expire. Like I said all the girls there are really nice and welcoming, you never feel judged even if you want crazy designs. NOVA removes lashes improperly. She pulls all of the natural lashes out while ripping off old lash extensions. VERY PAINFUL!! She puts lashes on skin instead of on natural lashes. She does not care about her clients natural lash health! She will cut your natural lashes with scissors when she can't get the extension off. She should use lash remover but instead she rips the outgrown lashes off which causes so much pain. She glues all of the lashes together to where they are crunchy, clumped together and painful. She does not isolate individual lashes. Over priced for pain, short retention and ugly glued together lashes. I do not think she is licensed to do lashes and she is ruining everyone's natural lashes. I will be reporting her/this salon for allowing this. read more

Time for an updated review. I've been coming here since the beginning of time. Tim and Kim have always been my go to for nails. Their attention to detail and design work is unmatched. Peter is also great if Kim and Tim are unavailable as they get booked up pretty fast. It's always best to call and make an appointment, they are great about answering the phone! My go to pedicure lady used to be Kathy, but unfortunately she is no longer here. Great news, Cindy is absolutely the best of the best when it comes to pedicures. I'm always a little apprehensive about getting my cuticles and ingrown cut - but Cindy makes it so painless. Hands down the best pedicures of my life. She takes her time and is so sweet. Salon is super clean and spacious. They have tile not carpet which is a must for me when it comes to nail shops. They have new equipment and the best spa chairs. They offer complimentary water and mimosas with any service. Their selection of nail polishes and designs are always up to date and growing. The best brands too so my mani pedis always last even if I don't get gel! Tip: If you check in on yelp you can get a free sea salt scrub or 5 min massage with your pedicure. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I came here to get a classic set of lashes. I heard from a friend that they were the best and lasted a month! I show up and they were very sweet. When she was done they definitely weren't the lashes that I asked for and she even had a reference picture. During the lash appointment I felt uncomfortable and burning but I thought that was normal due to it being so close to my eyes. When I left I had to return within 30 minutes because my eyes were burning so bad. I asked them to take them off and I wanted the $120 back that I paid. During the take off of the lashes. My eyes were swollen shut and so raw from the burning of the chemicals she was putting on my eyes. I had to leave in a rush to the emergency room and I was diagnosed with a first degree chemical burn on my eyelids. Unfortunately for me they can't take the lashes off yet because there's so much glue burnt to my eyelid that it would cause more damage. So I have to wait 3 weeks to go back and see if they can be removed. They gave me medication to put in my eye but this will affect my vision for a couple of weeks. There's more to the story along with the way me and my friend were treated but short story I'll never be returning there nor ever getting eyelash extensions again. read more

I made an appointment for gel x and a pedi and let the front desk and the woman doing my nails that I wanted gel x. Mai ended up putting acrylic and saying it was better for my nails and so I was just like.. ok not what I asked for but sure whatever. I gave her a reference photo and she kept trying to get me to do a different color because the color I requested wasn't the right shade for my skin tone. I told her I didn't care and to please do it anyways. a couple of my nails were very crooked and just like that comedy sketch from 20 years ago "it's your finger"‍. Didn't fix it.. I ended up just giving up on trying to ask for what I wanted because I knew I wasn't going to get it. Here's my reference photo vs what I got. The "French tip" covered half the nail and the nails were WAY too thick and bumpy. They ended up breaking in half FIVE DAYS after I got them done. I visited this spot after looking at the yelp reviews and figured i couldn't go wrong with any of the technicians but boy was I wrong.... My experience was horrible and I literally cried the whole drive home. I paid $82 (service and tip). read more

I've been coming here off and on since 2016, and I've never felt more scammed in my life by a salon. I came right before thanksgiving, stall number 7. The women had not worked with me before. It was visibly slow. I told the tech I only wanted dip and extremely thin. I have been growing my natural nails out for over a year and they were almost ready to be bare again. I told her to shave them down only and change the shape a little. She said ok we start over. Me thinking she's soaking the nail powder off. I feel her cutting my nails but don't see until 4 nails in, SHE CUT ALL OF MY NATURAL NAILS OFF DOWN TO THE NAIL BEDS. CONFUSED I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO REACT. SHE then puts new tips on which I didn't ask for. At this point it's a new set which I didn't want!!! She then says " let me do a design for you I want you to come back." Now I think she feels bad and offers it for free. I go to pay upfront... $70+ .... I was so mad. You not only cut ALL OF MY REAL NAILS, but charged me full set when I didn't want that. Probs my go-to in Convoy area. The gals here really know how to make sure your pedicures are amazing! We opted for pedicures + callous remover. They clean, cut, remove callous (extra), foot massage, hot stone massage and paint your toes. The massage chairs were a nice touch and the gals here make sure you're comfy. If i could give 0 stars i would!!! I've gotten my lashes done here before and it was fine . This time 0/10!! My eyes were burning for hours to the point where i couldn't open them!! Lashes were also placed on my skin instead of my lash line..so my lashes were poking my skin and itching terrible...there was way too many lashes put on my eye, to the point where my eyelid is balled up... asked for removal and instead of a proper removal..scissors were used and was causing way more pain...i eventually left and booked someone else for the removal which will be today. My eyes have been itching since the appointment ..also the burning feeling after the appointment was not normal! My eyes would not stop burning and running...i could barely blink. Lashes are also SUPER hard and stale. I can't even brush them or it hurts my eye lids ! Not even sure if they are licensed to do lashes at this point!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND !!! read more

With the pandemic in all, I think the quality should've improved by now and since I'm doing a basic manicure on my natural nails I should give this place another chance...besides it's called Angel Nails. My rating is low due to because the website states it closes at 7:30, but the man I spoke to over the phone said they close whenever they feel like it. Sometimes they close at 5:30, sometimes it's 6-6:30, sometimes it's 7. It's never a consistent schedule. Their prices online vs what told over the phone are completely different. Also, got my eyebrows done, the room was not clean. Not sure if they reuse the same stick they dip the wax in but had a negative skin reaction. I've been using either hard wax, soft wax, & sugar wax for years and never had a reaction at any other place. Can sense that Nova had a negative energy and seemed like she was annoyed to stop her clients nails to do my brows. I was not in a rush at the time so I wouldn't have mind waiting. First time meeting her, I enjoyed getting my nails done by her but after that altercation I would not want to go back. I don't typically get my brows done at a nail salon but it was convenient at the time. Would give a higher rating if they were more professional. I started getting my nails done again and though this place is roughly a 15-20 minute drive from me, they get the job done and Tiffany is my go-to when I get my nails done. I literally would show her a photo and she would make it look better than the photo which is usually not the case at nail salons for me. I also like that she listens to me. I had a bad experience elsewhere because my nails would lift after a few days. That was not the case here. My previous set with Tiffany lasted for 3 weeks almost going on 4! I recommend making an appointment with her she's really good and accommodating. She is super adorable she gets super happy when I make an appointment with her.
