Parking was easy, and I decided that a last minute appointment would suffice since this place had a decent amount of good reviews. My fault there. I should've stuck with Callie at 1130 instead of coming in at 0900 for a random nail tech. I had a gel builder mani and a gel pedicure. I had gel nails for both hands and feet that needed to be removed... nothing complicated. I requested someone who knew how to deal with thickened skin with the large toenails, but to my surprise that wasn't the issue. What I thought would have been a routing mani, didn't turn out to be that way. For reference, I got there at 0910... started my mani at 0915 and didn't leave until 12noon. I'll show here a picture of what I wanted for my nails and what I ended up getting. I should've stopped the manicure tech once she didn't know that I had gel nail polish instead of a gel builder set as she mentioned... but I didn't. The next point I should've stopped her was when the dust was literally flying all over the place from her doing the e-filer on my nails. I wasn't sure why it was so messy. I've never had such a messy manicure. She also dusted off her towel in the direction I was sitting so all of that dusted onto me while I was trying not to inhale it. They're wearing masks... I should've asked one for myself. Anyway, the pedicure and manicure were going well, Jane was my pedicurist and while it took her a couple of tries to understand that the cuticle removal was way rough, it ended up being fine afterwards. I appreciated Trang coming in to help her with the extra skin by the large toenails. Now back to my manicure. A whole hour after the pedicure was done, she was finally done. I didn't expect my milk white French bail request to cause such a stir, at one point there were 2 other nail techs chiming in to help my manicurist. I received a discount but still tipped, I obviously didn't want to tip the manicurist, and not so much because she was inexperienced, shaky, and slow, but at one point she seemed frustrated. Why did she seem frustrated when I'm the one who was sitting there suffering with her slow service... anyway, I'll only come back for Trang and to possibly try out Callie. Don't drop it unless you know your manicurist. I don't even know what this nail tech's name was... I never asked, and I didn't want even stay to get a massage from her... left when I could after 3 hours. read more

I'm really impressed with this place! From the moment I walked in, it felt clean and well maintained. There was someone constantly walking around cleaning, which is always great to see in a nail salon. They also had an employee offering complimentary food and drinks from a menu, which was a really nice touch. I got a dip tip manicure ($65) with Tracy and a spa pedicure ($35) with Lynn. The manicure was excellent. One thing I really appreciated was that Tracy took the time to thoroughly clean up my cuticles and hangnails. Most places I've been for dip manicures don't bother with that, so it really stood out. She did a beautiful job overall. My only complaint is that while filing my nails, she cut my skin and made me bleed. The spa pedicure was also very good. My only complaint (but this is true of any nail salon) is the upselling. They ask you if you want upgrades when you first check in, then two more times while you're in the chair. Overall, I had a great experience. The salon is beautiful, clean, and clearly well run. I especially love that they have a punch card to earn rewards toward future visits. Another huge plus was how easy it was to pay. A lot of salons are cash-only for tips, which is such a hassle, so I loved that I could simply Venmo my entire bill, including the tip. I'll definitely be back. read more

Awesome nail salon I checked out today. A few days ago, I had booked my pedicure appointment and although I came 30 minutes earlier they were able to accommodate me right away. Jane did she did great! I also asked for last minute for add ons with eyebrow and upper lip wax. She was sweet and helpful! The space is nice and modern with spacious and cute busy atmosphere. I decided to give this nail salon a second chance, and unfortunately, it was just as disappointing as the first experience. First, their online booking system is terrible. I tried multiple times to book online and kept running into issues, so I ended up doing a walk-in instead. During my first visit, the nail tech who worked on my nails didn't seem confident in what she was doing, and I left unhappy with the results. I wish I remembered her name. Today, I came back hoping for a better experience and was helped by Michelle. I originally planned to just get a fill, but since I disliked my previous set, I showed her an inspiration photo of what I wanted. Right away, she seemed hesitant and repeatedly tried to persuade me not to do the design I asked for. I get my nails done to feel good and confident, not to be talked out of what I want. She eventually agreed to do it, but the experience only got worse from there. The setup at the station was uncomfortable -- there was only a small arm peg and nowhere to properly rest my hands. While removing my old acrylic, she burned me multiple times with the drill. I mentioned it to her, but she continued anyway. Then during the painting process, because my hands were getting tired from the awkward positioning, she raised her voice at me saying, "You have to keep your fingers up. I keep having to fix it because you keep putting your fingers down." There was no proper hand support, so of course my hands were getting tired. At that point, I was anxious and just wanted to leave, but I stayed and let her finish. When she was done, there was no final cleanup or touch-ups -- she just applied oil and told me to wash my hands. Once I got home and looked at my nails closely, I was extremely disappointed. The final result was not presentable and definitely not worth the $70 plus tip that I paid. This felt like a $50 job at best. Overall, I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning. read more

Coming from a nail technician, I was honestly very hesitant to go to a salon since I usually do my own pedicures. But this ended up being one of the best pedicure experiences I've had so far. Tina did my Spa Pedicure, Gel Removal & Gel Reapplication today and she was amazing. She was efficient while still taking her time, especially when it came to cleaning my cuticles and polishing--she would go over them again if needed, which I really appreciated. Her attention to detail stood out, and the whole experience felt very relaxing. As someone in the industry, I know how important time and efficiency are, and she definitely delivered without making the service feel rushed. Everything flowed smoothly from start to finish. Cleanliness was one of my biggest concerns, and they exceeded my expectations. I noticed technicians going to the back to thoroughly scrub and disinfect their tools. The nippers, buffer, and file were clearly single-use and looked completely new. The staff was friendly, and although Tina and I didn't talk much (which I actually preferred so I could fully relax), she did an incredible job. I would definitely come back. She was so sweet, caring and clearly passionate and I will be going back to her. I got in to the chair quickly and left within 90mins, great service. She said "Ooops did u just burn you?" And kept talking about how sad she was. This hurts so bad and may require a trip to urgent care because it's now infected (3 days later). I wish I had just gone to my regular nail salon and would not trust this place or their technicians after this experience. I went to Nailoscope at the recommendation of my sister to have my gel manicure repaired. I was able to book my appointment online and select the service I wanted. At the last minute, I decided I wanted a design, which the nail technician was able to accommodate. If you're planning to get nail art, I recommend letting the front desk know when you check in so they can seat you with a technician who specializes in designs. When I booked online, I didn't request a specific technician. The shop is located in a small strip mall with several other businesses, including CorePower Yoga, so the parking lot can get pretty packed and it may take a minute to find a space. The service itself was really good. I opted for a gel removal and a new gel builder set. My total, including tip, was about $92. It's a bit on the pricier side, but it felt worth it. While my nails were being done, I could tell the difference in the quality of the materials they used, and they had a huge selection of polish colors to choose from. I'm now at the one-week mark and there's been no chipping of the polish and the gel layers are still intact. My nails honestly still look like I just got them done yesterday. Based on this experience, I'll definitely be coming back. read more

I booked an appointment for a pedicure online in celebration of my birthday after having gone 6 years without a pedicure. I took a look at the feedback for Nailoscope and I decided to give it a try! I requested a specific technician in my booking request based on her nail art portfolio. I showed up for my appointment, got seated after a few minutes and it turns out the technician I had requested was not the same technician doing my pedicure. The pedicure itself was good. I showed her a photo of the nail art I wanted, and she helped me pick the base color. Okay, we're off to a good start! However, when it came time to do the nail art, what she ended up doing versus what I wanted were very different. I told her I wanted a single sunflower on each big toe with white petals and a yellow center. When she showed me the nearly finished work on each toe, I pointed out that I wanted a yellow center on each flower similar to the photo. She then proceeded to stick a shiny metallic bead in the center of each flower. This was not at all the look I was going for. It wasn't what I wanted and I didn't have time to point this out during check-out since I had to leave for birthday festivities. It was a bustling place with a lot of customers and technicians hustling around. I liked the complimentary soda. However, I'm not sure if I'll return. I didn't think I asked for crazy nail art. 1 flower! My total bill was $70 (plus tip). And it's a bummer that it didn't turn out more like I had hoped. read more

I stumbled upon Nailoscope on Instagram and also had a client recommend it, so I decided to treat myself there on my actual birthday. I normally don't get pedicures because I've had bad experiences in the past, but I was feeling spontaneous and hopeful. When we arrived, the space was beautiful, luxe, and welcoming. My wife and I both chose pedicures, and I went with the Gold experience to celebrate. Service started off great we were offered drinks and seated comfortably. Unfortunately, things shifted during the service. My technician didn't respond when I tried making conversation which she doesn't have to respond but I was just trying to be kind and ask how her day was going, and while I stayed relaxed and trusted the process, I later noticed my nails were cut very short and uneven leaving my nail crooked. When gel was applied, there were visible gaps and polish outside the nail. When I asked for a cleanup, it felt rushed, and instead of cleaning it up she went in with the cuticle clippers and just cut off my skin. The polish was still there. When asked if I was happy, I said no and showed the issues. The receptionist and owner were kind and offered 15% off and a redo, but with my birthday dinner coming up in just an hour and a half, I didn't have time to stay. I ultimately left feeling defeated and disappointed especially on a day that was meant to feel special. I purchased the gold pedicure service and didn't even finish it due to this nail tech and her nasty attitude when I said no. She snatched the toe separator off my toes that was one and she dropped a nail buffer I picked it up for her and tried giving it to her she snatched it out my hands gave me a nasty look and sucked her teeth. Keep in mind I was nice during this whole time didn't raise my voice or get loud or even be rude I was just trying to not cry at how bad my toes looked. Again the owner seemed nice and wanted to "help" but never asked about the service that was given only what my issue was. Even when I showed him the problem he just kept saying we can fix this, this issue was not fixable only thing they could do was take the polish off because this tech cut off so much of my toe nails there was nothing to file and fix with it looking like little lines of paint. Even during payment I still left that woman who did my nails a $20 tip for still working. To the owner I appreciate you trying to fix the issue but please understand some of us have had bad experiences and in that moment you kept asking me to redo the service over or come back I appreciate that. But I was so beyond overwhelmed and just wanted to cry at how bad my toes were, you need to show empathy understand boundaries and also don't just give a 15% off discount to issues like this. Especially since it was my first time and you promote 15% off to your first time clients on instagram. Thank you for the welcoming experience but it's safe to say I will not be returning. My two stars is for the receptionist and how she welcomed us into the space along with the interior presentation of the space. read more
