I'm new in town, so I spent some time trying to find a new nail place. I came here for a pedicure last Saturday, and I was so happy to see I could request an appointment online and have it confirmed through text if available, it made the whole process super easy! Everyone here was so kind, and I even got to see someone's nails after their appointment and they looked absolutely amazingggg. I am due for a refresh, so I booked an appointment this afternoon with Tina to redo my builder gel. Since it's my first time getting my nails done here, I'm really excited and looking forward to seeing how they turn out The vibe here is very friendly and I love seeing everyone laughing and smiling. read more

What a sweet spot I randomly found! I was in the area and found this place on Yelp. I just needed someone to take my nails off, they gladly took me in right away! There was an older lady who did my nails, and she was so gentle and made sure I remained comfortable the entire time. Having your nails taken off can be painful, but she was amazing! I was in and out expeditiously, and I'm very happy with how they turned out. read more

I liked that I was able to easily schedule an appointment online. I went in for a fill on my acrylic set. I also needed the nails to be cut down and I had a design I wanted. The first person to work on my nails cut them really crooked and seemed frustrated at the thickness of the nails. Then I went to Cindy for the design and she actually fixed a lot of the shaping and she did an amazing job with the design. I left really happy with my nails so I highly recommend a visit to Envy Nails if you can get in with Cindy. read more

Everything about this place is amazing!! Cleanness 10/10 services 10/10! The staff is beyond welcoming and the biggest thing for me was how clean they are. PLEASE NOTE: Despite the managements' very quick and defensive response, my experience was what it was, and nothing can really change that now. I saw what I saw come off my nails and it was not okay. Period. Again, IF TRUE, this could risk people's well being, which is the only reason I gave a review in the first place. Be safe people! And make very wise decisions as a consumers. Insulting people and name calling will not change my experience at the end of the day. I decided to go here last minute. The experience there was not too bad, the service was very "quick and go." Come forward to this week, I decided to go to my regular salon in Chula Vista, have my old set removed and get a new one. I was told by my nail tech there that she was sure the previous application of my acrylic was done with MMA (a cheaper version of monomer) which in my understanding, it is not safe or legal to use for nail enhancements. I didn't get pics of my nails while removing the product but I will attach a picture of Google to give an example of the removal look. Please be aware of the safety standards of all nail salons. If true, this seems extremely unethical and unsafe for all clients!!! Ask your technician if MMA is being used!! This could of lead to a serious physical injury to someone sensitive to harsh illegal unsafe chemicals like MMA. read more

Based on other reviews I read, I recommended this nail salon. But after I saw their workmanship and nail products, I was disappointed. After just 2 days, the gel polish started chipping off one nail. By day 7, 4 nails were damaged and their polish was coming off. The work wasn't done well and the polish they used was too thick and bubbly. I wouldn't recommend this place and wonder how they got such high reviews. After communicating with Liam, we were offered to return to the salon to get the nails redone. Two chipped nails were redone at no additional charge. Thank you for making it right. read more

I went here for the first time and my nails were done by Jay. He is really welcoming and gave me some advice on my color choice. I have really small finger beds and fingers and he navigated them well. I made an appointment but walk-ins are available. No issues with parking and very little wait on a Sunday afternoon. He did an awesome job on my nails. A little heavy handed but not a big deal. I came in with a really bad acrylic work and left with an ombré fill. I will be returning for the next filling. read more

This place is what I call my home salon. I can't cheat on them & go anywhere else. This is hands down the best shop I've been to in San Diego. The prices are not cheap but they are fair, you pay for what you get! It's not a chop shop that gets things done the quickest/easiest way. They take their time to do things the right way & their nails last a long time (i get mine long & i work with my hands a lot). It's a clean business & practice, they have top quality products, & such a sweet staff. Another plus is that they also do complimentary drinks while you get your service done whether you like champagne or just water. I booked an appointment online, which also had the prices of all the services they had to offer. When I arrived, they had me choose my nail color and head over to the station when I was ready. Just got done with my Pedicure with Ivy and it was amazing!! She takes her time, is very nice and will always ask if everything is ok. This is my first time doing French tips on my toes and she even asked me what kind of French I wanted and made sure I liked it before she cured it with the UV lamp. Overall amazing experience!! Our business specializes is manicures, shellac gel-nails, pedicures, acrylics, gelx, builder gel, Pink and White, 3D nail art, waxing, SNS dipping powder, eye lash extension, and French tips. We have the most innovative spa chairs on the market. Our chairs do not use magnetic jets, as those can’t be fully sanitized. Instead, ours use disposable liners so there is no cross contamination. A worry free spa experience. We also gather to big group parties, such as bridal shower, birthday party, graduation party and much more. I had been going to one of these salons for at least 3 years. Her suite is currently located in the plaza across H-Mart and 24 Hour Fitness off of Balboa Ave in a secured building on the second floor. Her suite is cozy for Miss Kelly, her client, and the equipment she needs. I highly recommend Ms. Kelly and her services - both to those who are sensitive to pain, and even the "veterans" who have learned to "tough it out." Before booking, please take the time to read her website. You will notice that her pricing is higher than the regular waxing/sugaring establishments. This is because she takes her time prepping you and doing the wax itself, which is also why your appointment will be longer (this varies, of course). This is why the pain level is much more tolerable, and makes the price worth it. It has been a while since my first appointment with Ms. Kelly, but I have returned several times since. I unfortunately had to pause my appointments with her, but await the day that I can resume my appointments. Ms. Kelly is a gem and I CANNOT recommend her enough!

She made me feel inadequate. She also said they wouldn't accept the Groupon deal though there is no restriction regarding 'new clients only' and it's against Groupon policy to refuse. My Genesis session experience with Cindy was amazing. She knows her stuff and she is really friendly. I appreciate that!

This happened to my daughter's nail yesterday @ Envy Nails and Spa 07/18/2019. Hopefully nobody get hurt like this again. It's really painful and Not professional to leave a customer with a bloody nail. I had to click 1 star but seriously No star Zero, Not going to recommend. First time here and unfortunately, I would not recommend this salon…read more I asked for shimmery multicolor gel polish with star glitter and rhinestones, but the tech did not capture the vision. After the first coat, I told them I didn't like the color. I was told to "trust the process," but even after 3 coats, there was barely any color payoff just metallic. When I spoke up again, I felt dismissed. What really surprised me was being told I would be charged $15 for gel removal after removing a color that I had already said I didn't like early in the service. Be warned: apparently you can be charged for removal if you change your mind about the color, even when you mention it early on during the appointment. I've never experienced this at another salon because its hard to predict what the color looks like when cured. Apparently here you get penalized for speaking up about it. I paid $75 with no builder gel, Gel-X, or acrylic, and the glitter was uneven with noticeable gaps. I also couldn't get my pedicure because of their time management between clients. For $75, I expected much better. Would not return. Update to their response: I have been getting my nails done for years, so I understand that designs, additional colors, and removal can have additional costs. My concern is that I was charged a removal fee after I had already told the technician during the application on my first hand that I did not like the color. I was told to "trust the process," but the color continued to be applied and was ultimately removed. The statement that I did not communicate my dissatisfaction until the service was nearly complete is therefore not accurate. I spoke up while the color was still being applied on the first hand. And when your tech asked if I was happy I did speak up early on about the color how it was not accurate to the swatch at all or even close with any color pay off. Regarding the design, I was looking for a soft shimmer over a jelly-like base rather than a pronounced cat-eye effect. My main concern was the significant lack of coral color payoff compared with my inspiration photo, along with uneven glitter with many awkward gap spaces. I am clarifying this because the salon's response does not accurately reflect what occurred during my appointment. I would still not return.
