Angel Nails and Waxing - Nail Salons Near Me - Oak Forest, Illinois

I love this nail salon. Very reasonable priced. Awesome nails. I go monthly for a mani-pedi. Very relaxing vibe.

Great job always. I have been getting my pedicures for the past 6 years here. Manicures as well. Today I got a chrome manicure and it is so festive for the holidays. Check out Angel and her daughter, great Mother and daughter team that spend a great deal of time to make sure your nails are always perfect. read more

I've gone here for pedicures several times and will continue to go here. They do a great job!! :-) They really work hard on the bottom of my feet to make them silky smooth. In all my decades of getting pedicures, this is the first place that has a "foot stool" to rest your ankle on when they're working on the bottom of your feet. It's wonderful!!! Also, love the massage chair. read more

Very small place can't move around without running into something (fan, stool, another person) Not sure if I would return back read more

I went there to get a pedicure. Ladies, do not go here to get your eyebrows waxed or any other body part. They double dip!! They use the same wooden stick on everyone! When the lady was done with the client she put the stick back in the wax! So blood & hair, skin is in the wax pot! So gross! Contamination! Get it done at a salon where they don't double dip. Pay the higher price for your brows. read more

She is spending more time on clients and they have a large selection of nail polish .

I have been coming here for at least 10 years, if not more. The owner is very friendly and knows me by my name. Hard working and takes her time on all services you get. If you don't want to wait call ahead and she will tell you if it is busy and if so will set an appt or give you a call when it slows down. No-chips last ATLEAST 3 weeks. Only reason I have ever had to remove my no-chip is becuase my nails grow out and it looks bad, never because of a chip or an error on her service. Recently got a new service called "dip-powder" nails. Really cool. Can get fake tips if preferred and uses colored powder to fill in. There is no polish involved which means no chipping. Really cool, I've never seen at any other salon. read more

A wonderful time for relaxing at "Angel Nails". The 1st thing I really like was their nail collection which was easy for me to pick out quickly. I highly recommend is the powder nails. Von (owner) goes that extra mile and uses the best quality for your nails. I must say she takes her time to make sure your nails look the best. Von loves her job and enjoys what she does best!!!! Bebe (daughter) takes after her mother and follows her foot steps... They both care about their customers. I'm new in Oak Forest and have been here for a year... I'm came from Niles, IL. I have gone to the best places to do my nails: Bloomingdales on Michigan Ave., Mario Tricoci in Old Orchard, Neiman Marcus,Vidal Sassoon, and Nordstroms. Just remember her place is small but the atmosphere is" beautiful" as well. It's not always we can have luxurious. I'm also a Director of Human Resources and wanted to mention to be patient. Not everyone is very talkative it takes "you" to start a conversation. Von and Bebe have the greatest personalities once you get to know them. Again, I strongly recommend their salon to everyone and give them 5 stars all the way!!! read more

I was also there today multiple times trying to get my nails done, after waiting in the parking lot for over 30 minutes, owner was still not there. I called as I sat in the parking lot and a very angry person answered the phone. I immediately hung up. Horrible service. I can't believe this. Last time I try to get my nails done. read more

absolutely ridiculous. drove here 4 times now during their posted "open hours" been closed each time. they dont answer the phone and they are not here during their open hours. very upset. been waiting outside for 35 minutes. Also very rude and inconsiderate. When i called it was a house phone with a man screaming in the background. Not sure how this is the 4th time this happened, owner must come and go as she pleases. 2 other ladies here trying to get in too but owner is a no show. read more

I have been going to Angels ever since they opened over 11 yrs. ago. Usually Von works on me - but today it was her daughter. She did a FABULOUS mani-pedi for me. Even though there were two walk ins waiting, she did not rush. She took her time. I've gotten so many compliments from people I don't know. I have read all the low ratings and complaints. And all I can say is be compassionate. Von doesn't wear her problems on her sleeve. Her husband is very ill and cannot be left alone. That's why it's difficult to be a walk in. Don't judge her till you walk in her shoes. If you can call and make an appointment she or her daughter will take very good care of you. read more

I have been a customer for many years. As an Oak Forest resident, I appreciate the quality this Mother and Daughter team give to ensuring I leave with beautiful nails whose color really lasts. In my haste, I had left early once and smudged my nails as soon as I got home. I immediately returned and was fixed up without issue. I have had regular, no chip, and waxing. I will never go anywhere else. I love this duo and have built a strong relationship. When I luck out, I gra b the rare Value PAC coupon for the $25 for both mani and pedi. Great deal and great care. read more

I had a Great experience tonight! My BFF Sarah and I were not feeling well so instead of staying home we decided to go and get pedicures. The owner was very courteous and accommodating and provided a very relaxing and wonderful experience. read more

I have been to this shop twice now and really like it and the people who work here. The polish lasted two weeks and I'm pretty rough on my nails. A great perk was the foot and leg massage that I received here...have never had one that felt Sooo good. And very important to me is that it is very clean. I don't live near here but occasionally travel through this area and will definitely plan a pedicure for the next time I'm in the neighborhood. It is a small shop so you may have to wait a bit but it is well worth it and I have found that to be the case in the many other shops I have been in. read more

One hour after having a manicure, I washed my hands - The polish on three of the nails came off. Unbelieveable

Went to this location for the first time and will never return. They had one lady working there. She was very rude. She seemed mad that she had customers. She only gave me two nail color options for my no chip. I told her that was not the color I picked out and she stated these are the only ones. They have walls filled with shelves with nail colors to choose from. She roughly filled my nails . Breaking two of them but would not file them to even them out. It was not worth the money!! read more

This nail salon is a managed by two individuals owner and daughter. Most of the time is the owner by herself. The owner is in the wrong business and is never pleasant and treats her customers poorly. On top of that, nails looked terrible. What draws people to her shop which is very small, is the $15 dollar spa pedicure. I will never be back!! Pay the extra money!! read more

This has been my pedicure and waxing shop for over 7 years. The owner very pleasant and takes her time and does awesome job.

I've been a pedicure customer for several years, and the careful treatment keeps my feet happy and healthy. The polish lasts until it grows out, and stays good looking, and the price is very reasonable. read more
