Hello everyone! Everyone's experience is always different. Here is mine as the pictures provided for you guys. I called at 9am to see if I can get a full set. Came in 20 min later. I know it is a Friday so 4 people were already being taking care of. She didn't ask me my shape for my full set acrylic so whatever she started with was okay for me as I told her. This is my first time here so I went with something simple one color. She insisted I pay before her painting my nails after she finished a lady's eyebrows. So I did. 2 other people came in so she rushed to paint my nails & air dry them with a little fan. I knew my nails weren't going to be dry so I sat there sitting in front of the fan until she sprayed them with a can I guess to dry them quicker. I left at 10:50 of course had to open my own door n grab my keys from my pockets. Even though I was charged $35 i wish she had given me extra time to dry my nails. :( read more

I've been coming here since 2015. New ownership came about in January 2022. Ever since, I feel like they are very deceptive in their pricing. A basic acrylic fill in without extra length or broken nails CLEARLY states $20, but I feel like they are spinning a price wheel every time I go. One visit is $30. One visit is $45. One visit is $40. All for the same service, no extras. The sign above the register says $1 fee for credit. Today I was charged an additional $3 for credit. Forget this place. When it was Bob and Linda I wanted to support a small business, even if it wasn't the nicest inside. Now it's still not that nice inside and I'm getting up charged based on how the nail tech is feeling that day with no consistency in pricing. I'll go to the place down the block and get premium services with the premium price tag. read more

The young girls that work here (daughters of the owners) are very nice and so sweet. However, the mani-pedi experience was just okay. I wish I would have had the older people work on my feet, they seemed to be doing an excellent job with the individuals who sat around me. read more

The worst no chip manicure ever! Never have I had such a bad experience! She didn't cut my cuticles, she didn't even shape my nails or make them the same length. No acknowledgement that I walked in till she was ready to take me. Then just rude the entire time. This is my second bad experience here. I started going to HT as a referral from a friend. They do wonderful work for a very affordable price. But yesterday I brought my mother in for a manicure and pedicure. My mom has issues with balance, walking and hearing, but the woman who took care of her was so kind and treated my mother so well. I just want to thank her and I will be bringing my mom with me again. Both of us left with gorgeous fingers and toes...and my mom was so happy. Thank you. This was the worst experience I've ever had a nail salon. I had gone in here once before and decided to walk out due to the bad vibe I got and it didn't look to clean. I wish I would have stuck to my gut and not gone yesterday. It is near my house and I decided to save some time rather than drive to Q Nails or Best Nails. Big Mistake! First, It isn't very clean. They had me sit down right away but then I waited quite a while for the woman who seated me to get done with her phone call, or at least pause. She ended up not doing my feet. A young girl briefly washed the instruments she was using on the other client that was there and started my pedicure. She kept trimming and picking my nails till there was barely any nail left. Then she used the electric sander and sanded down my nail bed! and nicked up the sides of my nail bed. Then she about grated off all the skin on the bottom of my feet, literally until I bled and told her to stop. All this and I was already there over an hour. She did not seem to know how to do nails at all. Finally when I just wanted to leave the owner put liquid skin on me where I was bleeding and quickly finished painting my nails. There was no massage. They didn't smooth out all the skin they grated off my feet either so where my feet aren't raw they are rough with little pieces of grated skin. Truly awful. When I complained while I was paying for this disaster the owner basically said the girl was not good and next time to ask for one of them. Really!?!? Yeah, never going back. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews. I always watched how poorly they treated others thinking I was special (arrogance) and somehow it was the client. Eventually, it was my turn. After a long day at work, I came in for a pedicure and needed the chair adjusted my feet barely touched the water. It became an issue with Linda (as usual on the defense) dismissing me trying to convince me its ok. She had the wrong one.. I don't debate when I'm spending my money, so I politely walked out (Bob rudely told me ok bye) and took my money to Star nails on 115th pulaski (nice people and they have pedicure chairs that completely immerse your feet in the water. They were very friendly . Nails looked just as I wanted. I did not have any pain while getting my nails done as I have experienced at many places in the past. I was immediately helped . I visited this salon twice. The first time I got a manicure and the younger guy that serviced me had a serious attitude. I even tried to talk to him and he responded he is ready to go home and not feeling very friendly. He painted my nails just okay. The polish was not evenly coated. That plus his unfriendly attitude cost him his tip. The second time I went the older gentleman worked on me. Again I got a manicure and the polish was sloppy and on my skin. He also tried to skip the hand massage that comes with the manicure. When I asked he did a half job which cost him his tip. The salon was filled with regulars and I could tell this because of their conversation with the workers. I felt I was rushed along to service the others. I probably will not go back. read more
