I should preface my review by saying I don't get my nails done often; maybe 1-2 times a year. I went in for a mani-pedi and decided to try this salon for the first time since I was given a coupon at a community event. Julia was my nail tech and I was impressed with the time she took during my pedicure. It was one of the best I've ever had! She was kind and took the time to understand the design I wanted for my nails, frequently checking in to make sure I was okay with the color, design, etc. The salon itself isn't anything especially fancy (the usual massage chairs for pedicures, videos of nail art playing on the TVs) but I was happy with the service. Unfortunately, I paid and tipped for no-chip gel polish, and the manicure AND pedicure both began peeling after less than a week. I can be a bit rough with my hands sometimes, but I've never had a no-chip pedicure peel after less than a few weeks. I'm not sure if this is faulty service, or if I'm just not the type of girl who's cut out for constantly having to deal with the upkeep to have her nails done. While I have nothing bad to say about my experience, it's too expensive for me to return every week or two. read more

let me start with how detailed they are with cleaning; AMAZING. i am so, and i mean SO, picky about cleanliness in a place that is going to be touching my body and doing any work that results in an open wound (cutting the skin off your cuticles, clipping ingrown nails, and the opening of pores in the water and removing skin with a pumice stone is that). I received the Deluxe Pedicure with "no chip" aka gel, and have never had such detail in one sitting to my feet. Granted, i needed all of it since not having a pedicure since last summer. While I sat in my chair, the man cleaning the chair beside me lifted every part and sprayed EVERYTHING. I swear to you NOTHING was untouched by that spray and clean cloth. But, back to the pedicure. My girl was very nice but did not give her name and used new, packaged disinfected tools and wore gloves and changed them after she left the chair and came back. You might wonder why I am raving about this cleanliness? well, i have had a manicure and pedicure in 6 or 7 states and each state about 3 shops in each to see if a different part of the city had a different standard of hygiene. A few things. 1) Equipment sterilization, I wasn't paying attention to pedi box that was brought over if they were new or previously used tools. However, at mani station they were not! Tech reached over to grab nippers and was ready to use them on me. I noticed skin from previous user...I stopped her and told her to get a new pair. She tried to tell me they weren't used. I use them at home, I know what skin looks like. She shook out and used alcohol to clean them. 2) Appointment was made and still didnt get seated for a half hour. 3)masks not mandatory-thats fine but Id like to be separated by shield from hacking unmasked person in pedi area. Shields are only by mani area After this I started to notice their clientele didn't pay attention, more worried about getting their nails done and maybe the mask. Forget about any other disease you can pick up from tools not being sterilized or being used over and over. No fresh packs of tools opened per client, just ready to get next one in chair. So thick I went home and had to grind them down myself and after all this, now I'm going to pay someone else to fix my nails. Two stars because the pedicure was decent. My mom and I went to Nail Pro for mani-pedi. My mom was getting a no-chip mani and I asked for a standard manicure. The nail technician tried to convince me to get a no-chip, but I declined. She wasn't happy that I refused. My technician rushed through my pedicure. My feet are still calloused. There was no liner in the pedicure bowls, either, which is a bit unsanitary. As for my manicure, I usually do a better job painting my own nails. I wish I was kidding. My cuticles were hardly trimmed. The polish is bubbling on multiple nails. One of my nails smudged (my fault) and the tech didn't fix it. Just put more polish on without trying to even the polish out. The tips of my nails weren't filed properly, so they were scratchy and got caught on my clothes. On top of this, there are bare spots on the sides of my nails. I'm just not happy with it :( My mom's no-chip already has a chip in it... On the *same* day she got the "NO CHIP." Nail Pro isn't the worst salon I've been to, but I won't be coming back here. I took my granddaughter here for her first salon nail polish because she lives in the area. I wanted her to have no chip polish because when I polish her nails it never lasts. She's an active 4 year old that has trouble being still long enough for them to completely dry. No chip solves that problem. The service was exceptional! They worked very well with an active toddler and were so accommodating. Even when she was done and it was time for my polish, they made an easy transition and set her up to be comfy next to me. So I get all finished up pay and then head home the next day my nails were chipping horribly so I went back and the one lady that does no chip manicures started to pretty much complain saying this never happened before you too rough and some other stuff like trying to pretty much say it was my fault no actually if you did your job right the first time I wouldn't be back a no chip manicure usually last me like two weeks and sometimes even longer and me being a busy mom I only have time to go once in a while her work was horrible just a waste of money because even after getting my nails done for the second time they haven't even lasted me a week and are already chipping again I will never return to this place no bueno! read more

Came here for a mani and pedi. The salon stations and amenities seemed to be clean, but old tile and outdated decor gave it a dingy vibe. An unsightly fish tank sat in a corner and was overdue for a cleaning. Staff was nice enough, and I was satisfied with my pedicure. However, my no chip manicure was disappointing. After complaining that the work was messy, the manicurist kept insisting it was merely the color I chose. She offered to change the color, but it was clear she didn't really take the time to make sure all the edges were neat. Manicure was done on a Wednesday and by Monday it already started to chip. 30 dollars wasted on a messy no chip that didn't even last. Won't be returning. read more

Beware this salon takes advantage of customers. I sent two teenagers for manicures & pedicures who ended up getting charged the same price I pay for my no-chip manicure & pedicure which takes a lot more work and products. There was waaaay less work provided for these kids yet they apparently looked young and naive and were forced higher prices. The saddest part is my child has always been taught to tip very well and not knowing they were being swindled, were generous to their nail tech. When I called in to inquire the cost, I was told $40 yet when I complained that we were overcharged, the gal on the phone "immediately" knew exactly whom I was referencing. Which all the more proved that they specifically flagged them with a higher charge . This was a terrible experience for me. This was very close to my house so I thought I would give it a try. My friend and I decided to get gel nails done here and we both regretted it. The price was pretty low, so the partial blame is on us, for not considering why it is so. The guy that did my nails left a bunch of gel on my skin, as if he didn't see where the nail ends. My friend had so much gel outside of her nail that she could peel it without trying. When we pointed it out to the manager he raised his voice at us, calling us blind and saying that he knows best!
